creabyn: Marine Institute, Memorial University of Newfoundland.. Fee for the whole program
please what course(s) do they offer. Cos that program is quite cheap.
TravelRe: Travelling To Canada Part 6 by modskiller(m): 8:10am On Sep 19, 2014
Habeeb521: pls modskiller do u mean landing document or land documents in Nigeria here
yes I mean land documents e.g land ownership or when it involves transferring of ownership of land or any other property from one person another. Also some documents may raise doubts when processing, but when you draft a letter that backs of the authenticity of such document it may be the one that will convince the V.O of the authenticity of that letter. So in such case, paper route may be the better option. #MyOpinionThough. But you may ask other ogas in the house as I'm also a novice.

ShehuAba: Congratulations to all of them. Whether it's truly deserved or not is another issue entirely.

I must commend and congratulate my vice chancellor prof. Abdul Ganiy Ambali who was awarded with the OON.
Really wish him and others, all the best.
That man who increased the school fees from #35,000-#38,000 to #90,000 and above is who you're congratulating? Abegiiii.

some documents requires some write ups to back up their authenticity (not so sure tho).but if you have the basic docs, pile them up and fire online. Wishing Goodluck with no Jonathan[s]

VickyRotex: Thanks modskiller. Am a lady tho. Would try and read up the previous thread. i just pray it works out for me.. Is there anyone in the house having his or her masters in canada, and did the whole processing by him/herself? please wanna know.
I wanted to reply, but I see that someone has done that already.

VickyRotex: HI! I guess this is just the right time for me on this thread, and i believe il testify very soon. cudnt read everything on this thread, but with the little i read, i guess there've been more of success... Am a grad of comp Eng. I plan going for my masters in canada, tho two schools on my mind. Am considering giving it to an agent, but a friend said i can process it myself. truth is i dont know how to go about it. and the fact that am kinda busy, i dont know if working it myself would go a long way. i need advices and ideas on how to go about it. Thanks in anticipation.
nice one sir, the best things don't come easy as they say. I will advise that you take your time to go through the thread and read about the process it is straight forward right from getting a school, applying, sending the necessary docs to the school with a token, getting an approval I.e admission, processing your visa. Chikenna. Brb pls.
TravelRe: Travelling To Canada Part 6 by modskiller(m): 9:33am On Sep 18, 2014
Habeeb521: Hello peeps, which is better the online route or the paper and wat the different between them
apply online if you have all the documents ready and they are not bulky or much, but use the paper route if the documents you want are bulky.

TravelRe: Travelling To Canada Part 6 by modskiller(m): 2:28pm On Sep 17, 2014
sidnigga: U absolutely right... I think atleast 2unis in nija r above dem... Dats my fear. will dat not raise a red flag for d VO
Still gon consider it though
nah it won't raise any red flag. Check the CIC site, and you'll see that it is an accredited institution in Manitoba canada. If you think of such in the case of brandon uni, what will you say regarding the colleges and poly techniques in canada considering the fact that people gain admission there easily and get their T.R.V??

mrnilobrawn: The Fellow

Seem to want flashy school and province that y I said he should consider
Brandon uni is better than all d uni in naija, it been cheap nd not mentioned here dos'nt matter. Go for it if they hav ur program of interest.
Brandon is a small and cheap place to study.
lolz, but come to think of it. The uni of ilorin ranks around #1100 or so, while Brandon University ranks #3000 or something. But owing to how things are quite straight forward and orderly in canada, I will go for their schools any day, any time.
TravelRe: Travelling To Canada Part 6 by modskiller(m): 1:56pm On Sep 17, 2014
sidnigga: Do u know maybe deir provincial govt hs strict law as regards immigration which cud make it hard for one to get study permit to go sch in dat province?
I don't know, but I don't think so. You can ask the likes of Dr. Siga, Chief Chrigogo, High Priest Saxywale, Queen Ms Bon, and other Ogas in the house. Or better still ask about the Manitoba Province rules and regulations from fellow nairalanders here.

mrnilobrawn: Why not apply to University of Toronto
true say, University of Toronto Is a very good place and their program outlines are so lovely and superb, but I don't know about their requirements and fee schedule, but I think the fee is around $12000-$14000 CAD. Not so pocket friendly for some peeps.
TravelRe: Travelling To Canada Part 6 by modskiller(m): 1:39pm On Sep 17, 2014
sidnigga: Saskatchewan and British Colombia are one of those cool places too and I've seen ppl chosen dem
They may be cool, I have a friend in Saskatchewan, and One in British Colombia. Their fees are not pocket friendly for peeps who are not excessively financially buoyant. Even the friend in British Colombia always complain that the place ain't so lively. But I don't know much about Brandon though, but from all I've read Brandon seems to be okay and less costly even in terms of living cost.
