Politics / Re: Nass: APC Under Pressure To Zone Deputy Senate President To Southeast by modupe2: 4:53pm On Jun 08, 2019
The same way NC delivered more votes for APC than SW, but same APC is taking an unpopular decision to zone Speakership to them in addition to them having VP slot......too bad

zibya:
The SS delivered more votes for the APC and hence is more deserving for the position
Politics / Re: 9th NASS: Lawan Speaks On Becoming Rubber-stamp Senate President by modupe2: 4:45pm On Jun 08, 2019
Nope....

Mydazz:
Please is this Lawan that indicted Patricia Etteh, and collected bribe from Otedola?
Is he the one aspiring for Senate President now?
Politics / Re: 9th NASS: Lawan Speaks On Becoming Rubber-stamp Senate President by modupe2: 4:45pm On Jun 08, 2019
APC is not that politically wise

priceaction:
Am having these feelings that ndume may be put as a joker just to distract PDP . He may withdraw at the eve of the election there by leaving only lawan as the major contender ,which will give him upper hand as the wish of APC and finally confuse PDP senators to whom to vote for. In Nigeria politics like this, APC might not want sarakigate to repeat itself.

Clean ke? He's far from clean......

Politics / Re: PDP Caucus Directs Members to Support any APC Candidates of their Choice by modupe2: 4:43pm On Jun 06, 2019
Yes.....and I am not expecting a President with integrity mantra to persuade a clean Bago to step down for an ex convict Gbaja

garfield1:

Did you just see the withdrawal of goje?
Politics / Re: PDP Caucus Directs Members to Support any APC Candidates of their Choice by modupe2: 12:33pm On Jun 06, 2019
I cant agree on what is not just to make you feel good nah.......Gbaja is not just destined to be Speaker of Federal Republic of Nigeria.......the earlier he realizes that, the better for his remnant in his political career.

garfield1:

If you agree that yours was dismissed for fraud

I supposed its Seunmsg curse that would rather hit Gbaja

seunmsg:

I’m happy you’re against Gbajabiamila. Now I’m very confident that he will be elected speaker. You’re always on the losing side and it won’t be different this time around. The Pachukwudi44 curse is about to hit Bago and others opposed to Gbajabiamila.

So have agreed he's an ex convict in another country? Lolz

garfield1:

Being an ex convict in another country cannot stop him from aspiring for anything.there are judicial precedents.finally it is just an allegation that hasn't been proven in any court.which of bago's status has been declared? Even nwajiuba will poll more votes..
Politics / Re: Speakership: Lawyer Seeks Disqualification Of Umar Bago by modupe2: 10:15am On Jun 06, 2019
So you are referring to someone who's not convicted a criminal? Just because you decided to cook up a narrative to suit your crook agenda?

garfield1:

It is a counter attack.your osama looking mentor started it.let us see which one holds more water,a crime in Nigeria and outside.biased stooge

Thank you..... they are only struggling to cover Gbaja dirty past.......Gbaja is an ex convict...and he failed to disclose that...shikena

Esseite:
But he was not convicted of the alleged crime, the alleged crime should go through court process to ascertain he committed the crime...
was that the reason the bank disengaged him?
Was there a police report against this report?

We need to ask question so people dont tarnish other peoples image just because of political rivalry.

Gbaja is a convicted criminal proven by a law court, there is a difference. He was debarred.

Thank you. He keeps mentioning oiling the ground as if he's being there when Gbaja is doing the oilage.

Let's wait till Tuesday as you said. That Bago is not publicizing his move doesn't mean he's not doing even much more moves than the Gbaja team.

With all their noise on World Press Conference yesterday, how many of those they claim to be in their camp were in attendance? Their eyes go clear on Tuesday.

Danwakae:

You tried, but u only see and speaks from the media bruhaha,

I repeat, wait till the DeeDay and remind me of this pls

I worked at the green chanbers for yrs before I gained admisiion into the varsity, those of u outside only see what the media gives u, but the politics r hiding not until the DeeDay.

Gbaja chances were even more brightier in 2015 than in 2019 even tho he has done more campaigns in the latter...Gbaja and Lawan donot even knw their real opponents, as such, u only strategize to defeat a known opponent...In a snail shell, this 9th assembly contests is just all about 2023....pls don't forget remind me by next week, so I can tell u more about 2023

You can see nobody likes or shares your comment or quote you.

To have said Bago didn't campaign much must have meant you aren't following the trend

garfield1:

Nothing will shock anybody.you clearly do not know how politics or elections are played in Nigeria.you have never been involved in campaigns obviously.it is who campaigns and spends most that carries out the day.these reps are like normal nigerian voters, they can be easily be induced.no matter the hatred for a candidate from a community,if he campaigns in that community rigorously and the other candidate they like doesn't,he will likely get their votes.
Bago is not campaigning much.he cannot match femi.forget this hatred you have for apc and thoughts of femi losing miraculously.femi has bought the votes of almost everyone.continue your bitterness.ill remind you next tuesday

Politics / Re: PDP Caucus Directs Members to Support any APC Candidates of their Choice by modupe2: 11:03am On Jun 05, 2019
And seeing that no PDP has ever come out to support Bago openly not sending any message? June 11, 2019 will surely tell

garfield1:
I won't be surprised if pdp ends up voting massively for femi than any other person.he has campaigned more among the pdp reps and they have endorsed him more than any other person.the reps election will be like real life Nigeria polls.
Politics / Re: PDP Caucus Directs Members to Support any APC Candidates of their Choice by modupe2: 10:55am On Jun 05, 2019
It's good that you have accepted he's an ex convict. But beyond being an ex convict, he also delibrately failed to disclose his status.

Gbaja is not fit to be our number four man

garfield1:

I go really troll you from next week.bago has an edge, how many are supporting him? An hsrdcore islamist like bago is better than a liberal femi that has more legislative experience, held top legislative posts, sponsored one of the highest number of bill, executed record constituency projects?
So being an ex convict means someone is bad and can never change abi? You are funny, hateful and judgmental.you dont even know any achievement of bago.even namdaz and wase that stepped down for femi are more experienced and qualified than bago.from next week, you will be my boy
Politics / Re: PDP Caucus Directs Members to Support any APC Candidates of their Choice by modupe2: 10:47am On Jun 05, 2019
The Bago campaign team that has touched the six geopolitical zones is struggling to campaign? June 11, 2019 will tell....

garfield1:

No sir.that was in 2015 when femi ignored them not anymore.theres no way they will leave femi who has lobbied all of them for bago who is even struggling to campaign.not everyone plays politics of bitterness like you.once femi emerges,i wont like to see you comment here again.your own too much.how can you be falling into a ditch and still think you are climbing?

May Bago succeed

Esseite:
Too close to call.... Goje/Bago 9th Assembly..

For the Senate, Lawan is really dicey as all his hope is based on block vote from the APC, Ndume and Goje would break that projected block vote, while Goje being colleagues with past Governors and Senators reelected into the chamber, he most certainly would get most of opposition votes.

Bago may clinch Speaker, he would obviously split the APC votes and having the backing of opposition, coupled with Gbaja being a convict.

Some old men with the way they use their heads and think? This is just a stupid comparison, what was the financial state of lagos in 1999-2007 and 2015-2019,
Lagos was earning 600million internally generated revenues and increase to 10billion, local government funds to lagos state was withheld by OBJ in 4 yrs, under AMBODE he enjoys 35billion internal revenue monthly, all LGA funds paid up to date, these are indices for performance Mr Old man
