@peachafrique, I logged in to this thread after being a silent observer to this back and forth between you and the op. Let me ask if truly you want your money back( i am sorry if that came out in the wrong way) but you need to move your behind and go after the op. No more talks please, she will never ask for your account details and drop your money there. She is a damn THIEF! There is a time to be gentle and a time to be violent/forceful. You should have realised you will never get your money back from the op in a gentlemanly way. Make up your mind to go all out within the confines of the law to get your money back or do the nigerian 'God will fight for me' style. People have risen to your course on nl but they can't do the do for you. This whole mess is pissing me off especially with the sheer arrogance of the jenny wotefa. Even if the 115k is not the problem to you as your gentleness has shown, i will just like to see this stoopid @op get busted by our dear naija police. Such nonsense and ingredient! |
I await your kind response( check) please, mr Z3us quote author=moduperola post=31018471]So sorry to barge into this thread but I happen to be in this same kind of dilemma at the moment. I don't know about northern woman and herbs but generally speaking, I think our level of pain endurance differs. Like me for instance, i am an extreemly shy person, so much that I consider it 'unbecoming' of me to scream or cry out in pain. During the delivery of my baby, labour started around 7am and i gave birth around 6:45pm but all through, not even a cry(loud or low) came out of my mouth. Nurses, co-patients, my mum who was around with me were just asking if it wasn't painful. Instead of crying out, i simply went dumb('hhmm' was all i could produce). Infact, when the baby was about coming out and the doctor said 'push', i asked 'how?'. He had to force me(kindof) for the 1 shout that propelled the baby out. I look forward to birthing my baby myself and smiling out to announce to DH(if he hadn't fainted already ) by then. |
GenBuhari:Thank you all for the goodwill, God is indeed awesome. Arlington:Thanks sis for the clarification, some people had me worried for a while. I pray God for a smooth and safe delivery. Ejadamen:You took the words out of my mouth. God will definitely see us through. Goom:Goom, i may not know exactly how you feel but i'll like you to know that God is still faithful to all His promises and His will concerning your fruitfullness still stand. You shall laugh! |
Thanks Ejad, I wondered too if i am different , now i can relax and enjoy. Thanks for the clarification.Stay blessed. |
Hi all, To all the new mothers in the house, God be praised! He is a faithful father. To the expectants, God's name shall be praised in our lives( yeah, i am one of you peeps). I once wrote of recurrent miscarriages but He has done it despite all the grammar i heard at different doctors' offices. To all the TTCs, He neither sleeps nor slumber, You shall sing a new song. I have a query though: i am currently on 32wks and my feet are so swollen. they don't stay down when pressed though. people ask me all sorts of ques when i go out and this embarrasses me yet my doc says not to worry. Can the new mothers say something to enlighten me more as i am confused? Regards you all. |
Dr Kathy, God bless you for the good work. I once talked to you about recurrent miscarriages and that God i am 32wks pregnant now. I have been having pain on my left side(though it started on the right side), just below the breast in the last 2weeks. Just yesterday, my doctor said it is an upper tract infection though i await the urine culture result. What is your opinion and what do you recommend? I seem to always have urinary tract infection yet i complete recommended treatment each time. I await your response, please. |
Hi all, God bless you all for sharing. I am a TTC, i've had 3MCs It feels good to have everybody on board to laugh and testify with. The Lord is truly our strength. I hope to be able to share my testimony with you all. Take care, you all. |
Thanks Kathy for your explanation. God bless you. But pls, is there any special thing like food or drug i can use that will help me get pregnant again and prevent misscarriages too. I mean somethg that can boost my general body wellbeing. Thanks once again. |
@moduperola So sorry to hear this. Unfortunately, there is nothing you can do to prevent this. Miscarriages occur in 25% of all known pregnancies but blighted ovum is in a different category. Hang in there friend and let me know how it goes Doc Kathy, Thanks for your prompt and friendly response. And a very Merry Xmas to you and may the new year fill you with more wisdom. Pls, reference to your mail above, what do you think may have been the cause of this blighted ovum and how can i prevent it in future occurences. And then, what drugs or food would you recommend for me bearing in mind the low progesterone level too. Thanks once again. |

If you are concerned, talk to him about a semen analysis @moduperola Was your progesterone level checked? If no, ask for a progesterone level. Please let me know. Doc Katthy, this is moduperola. remember me? I lost the baby once again- scan said Blighted ovum. Now i am really scared of getting pregnant again. Pls what and what do you advise to do to forstall this kind of occurence 'cos i am sure i did all i should. I await your response. Thanks and regards. |
Hi Emmanus, Pls i won't mind having any e-book that you like to give out- my id is mysunshinealways@yahoo.com. I'll expect it from you. Thanks and regards |
hi Frank, Thumbs up to you. You are a good writer. What i think you need is a lil brushing up which any good editor/publisher can provide and then you'll be good to go. Keep at it, you will get there. At least you have the patience to start and finish a story unlike some pple who abandon their works halfway. God bless you. |
I simply love novels; fiction, romance, crime etc. And i don't make comments on writers i don't know or have not read. So in my opinion, in no particular order the following writers are simply wow: J. H. Chase ( for starters though but matured readers can still pick up to relieve stress) Danielle Steel ( good writer) Sidney Sheldon ( check out BLOODLINE and MASTER OF THE GAME) John Grisham ( geez, wow, all the works for A TIME TO KILL and THE PARTNER) Tom Clancy ( so good a writer) Jackie Collins ( got past this stage in my high school but good all the same) Fredick Forsyth ( if you haven't read any of his books, dnt call yourself a reader) Jefrey Archer ( got past this stage too ) Robert Ludlum ( now, i am hooked.) Ian Flemming Higgins Clark ( it finishes too quickly for me but i love it anyhow) Harold Robbins ( got past it too) Mario Puzo ( wow wow, for matured minds- FOOLS DIE) Mills & Booms ( read these only when i am short of what to read but my sis just love them) Sphere ( I have to check this out, can some1 recomend which i should go for) and all the others i can't remember on my feet just now. And for African writers, i give it to Camara Laye, Elechi Amadi, Wole Soyinka, Fora Nwapa, Ngugi wa thiong 'o, Chinua Achebe( the master story teller), Cyprian Ekwensi ( the grand pa story teller). I must confess that i have been postponing reading Chimamanda's books 'cos i couldn't get to buy when i had the money, lol) Gat to get back to work, guys. ciao |
Dear Dr Kathy, May God continue to bless and enrich you with wisdom for your selflessness. I actually joined nairaland 'cos of this thread and i hope you might be able to help me. My period is usually btw 13- 16th of every month and it is regular. Though i spot in btw and i have an unusually hot body temperature. Pls, i have had 2miscarriages in the last 1yr and right now, i am 6wks pregnant. In the last 3days, i have been noticing a brownish discharge again( dont know if it is blood cos it is nt red) and my doc says just to relax. I cant do that 'cos i don't want to lose this baby again. Pls, what do you think is the problem with me and what can i do so as nt to lose this pregnancy. Pls, i look forward to your reply. Thanks once again. |
