Kenyan airline may not be in the class with KLM, Lufthansa and the rest but I have patronized them couple of times and never had reason to regret my choice.

If you have had a bitter experience with Kenyan Airline, please share it here.

Cheers

Spot on.

My experience flying to China, Kenya Airways experience was superb.

I can even comfortably say it's at par with BA which I've flown before.

I stumbled across here when Googling something (forgot what I was even searching) and the interesting topics on the main page got me read like an addict. Reasons I loved Nairaland and stayed here:

- People's humorous attitude and funny comments, also the interesting Nigerian perspective about local and world affairs.
- I see the news about Africa we never get to see in the Western media. We see only negative news and violence, peple post all kinds of positive news here.
- Culture threads are hella interesting, it's refreshing to learn about all those fascinating rich cultures and traditions.
- Fights never escalate to ugliness I see on facebook and western forums. Even if people fight, it gets resolved quickly, mods never have to lock threads.
- You people don't ban the trolls, you just turn them into some kind of resident joke. No one takes the trolls serious and just make them into funny fools. Something white people never learned.
- The banter between feminists and macho men is hilarious
- I am writing an epic fantasy series, and the tribal conflict stuff is a huge source of inspiration for me. I have only academic knowledge on tribal cultures, it's priceless to see the living tribal culture with real people writing comments, the complex structure and political issues will inspire stories.
- There are so many nice and positive people here!

You're a stupid CIA agent sent to create discord among Nigerians.

These deranged morons and Anglozionist psychopaths trying very hard, and failing spectacularly, to craft a 'new world order' that will evolve into a 'one world govt' with Anglo Saxons and Jews at the top, and everybody else kowtowing to their diktat. This 'one world order' cannot be realised if nations around the world are assertive about their independence, sovereignty and national pride.

In Africa, the 4 pillars around whom this plan is supposed to be anchored are South Africa in the South, Nigeria in the West, Egypt in the North, and Kenya in the East. The huge Chinese One Belt One Road project, has put a spanner in their evil plans. It is a game changing geopolitical project already set to replace the western controlled international financial order that has made the West very wealthy on the backs of African, Asian and Middle Eastern natural resources since WWII.

The New Silk Road is set to strangle this system, and hence the desperate need for the west via its entire might in military, intelligence, economic, informational and cultural resources to try and stop or delay the inevitable collapse of the Anglo Zionist empire.

What are you trying to say?
2,000 pounds is too small??
You know there are junior doctors and senior doctors right??
How far will £2000 pounds get you in London? Especially if you have a family, it's flipin' peanuts.

It's practically impossible anywhere unless ofcourse they are not spending a dime of their salary which is again unlikely .

If a doctor in the NHS earns 38k, which is about 3100 gross per month. His total deductions per month including pension ( which btw is a lot in the NHS) would be about 1100 and this is me being generous by the way. He/she is left with 2k then comes the bills.. So pray tell how the hell are they saving 2k a month.

Man you're spot on. £2,000 in the UK is really peanuts moreso for a whole medical doctor.

They're doctors grin I'm suspecting the OP is a doctor as well.

I can put together the pieces:

Tier 2 visa & Attempting to save £2k per month means he's definitely earning £30k+ per annum. That's the basic pay for junior doctors excluding overtime.

Currently, doctors are the ones getting job offers straight from home. In fact, you'll be getting multiple job offers even before completing your plab exams.

Tier 2 visa means ILR in 5 years & citizenship one year after ILR.

As for people comparing UK to other countries & arguing that it's worse, I'll say it's subjective.

For instance, it's the easiest penetrable first world country for doctors. Cheap exam fee, very high pass rate, excess job opportunities, available residency training positions, etc.

Now tell me, if your profession becomes the next hot thing in the UK job market tomorrow, would all these comparisons matter in the face of career progression? For engineers, geologists & others, Canada is currently their Jerusalem. So, to each their own.
Doctors earn only £2,500 pcm? How are they expected to survive on that income and save £2K per month? It's practically impossible in London.

From Peckham to Abbeywood to Brixton, kent road etc, I must confess Nigerians have really messed up this city. I have been around london in the past days and to God who made me, I never expected the Nigerian Population to be this much. I was in total shock. Nigerians boku here no be small. Its here you'll hear mama toyosi shouting on top of her voice early in the morning telling her kids to get ready for school even speaking youruba like "ton ba bi yin da e malo we" ( If they born you well don't go and have your bath) . Its here you'll meet a supposedly black English man and he'll ask yoi "bawo ni, ilu wo ni naija lo ti wa" . I noticed the yoruba's generally form the majority of Nigerians in London then the Igbos, then other tribes. I've met some hausa too tho. Met some at a trade fair displaying kaftan and fula. shocked. Nigerians are generally not difficult to spot. You'll easily find them talking at the top of their voice in restaurants usually in their native language, you'll easily find them eating in the streets while walking. You'll even find them in the streets fighting and exchanging blows, raining insults on eachother like they are in oshodi. Oh did I tell you of a next building neighbor who wakes the whole neighborhood every morning with beats from pasuma and sunny ade? The cops even showed up one time to ask whether all was well. Here, you'll feel like you are in lagos. I even heard its worse in the USA with places like baltimore , maryland. Nigerians nor dey try at all. At least if you can't behave yourself in your own country, try to be sensible in another man's land.

New York has to be one of the most disgusting cities on earth. It's too expensive, too busy and the subway is filthy; full of rats and homeless people.

The people are generally unfriendly if not outright dangerous.

wittyt98:
1. One of the first legal slave owners in American history was a Black tobacco farmer named Anthony Johnson.
.
.
.
Born in Angola, Johnson was first sold to the Arab traders and then to a merchant working for the Virginia Company as an indentured servant. He arrived in Virginia in 1621 and was again sold to a White tobacco planter. In 1635, he and his wife, Mary, became free after finishing their years of the indenture and were granted a large plot of farmland. In 1651, he also acquired 250 acres of land under the headright system after buying the contracts of five indentured servants, four White and one Black.

In 1657, Johnson’s White neighbor forged a letter in which the former acknowledged a debt. Being illiterate, Johnson was forced to hand over 100 acres of his land to him. As racism became more common in the 1660s, Johnson moved his family to Somerset County, Maryland, where he took a 300-acre-land lease and developed it into a profitable tobacco farm.
You're a stvpid liar. That picture you've posted here is called "Head of a Moor" by Albrecht Dürer painted in Germany in 1521. Take your lies elswhere.
