Oh, why? Should an innocent and innovative student be punished for improvising when his parents perhaps couldn't cater for such basic needs? Maybe he doesn't even have parents any more. Scores of other students have dropped out of school because of similar challenges. The teacher could have approached the matter more wisely by encouraging him or even helping him buy a more decent bag (or otherwise raising funds on his behalf). At the end, this shows that the world needs more love!
