Politics › Re: Buhari's 12 Million Votes Are Not Locked In A Safe-atiku by Mogidi: 6:13am On Sep 21, 2014
Atiku is right for once, if you're a casual Nairalander you'd be pardoned for believing the phantom 12m votes were actually locked in a safe somewhere in "Nairaland" city.

The 12m votes only exist on the pages of newspapers and nairaland.

The serial loser is set to lose with or without the phantom 12m votes, Atiku is right for once.

egift: Isn't it funny how INEC place a ban on Campaigns but look the other way when this is happening. If it were the Opposition, their tongues will be everywhere.

Am glad APC has avoided this trap. Jonathan will be sent home in 2015 - Nigerians cannot afford 4 more years of Corruption.
You sabi cry this boy, enjoy the pinshure ja re.

His group have already applied to join PDP, their names remain on the scrutiny list for now, just hoping they're allowed to join sha.

With the rate of decampment to the PDP, pdp secretariats are overwhelmed with queries from APC "decampees".
They just have to join the long queue.

War every time on the politics section. Una no dey tire?
The Yorubas wouldn't mind if he's Ibibio or Ijaw, makes them happy. When they can't debate my points they also call me Igbo. The Yorubers have this quaint idea only Igbos disagree with them, sorry folks, its not just the Igbos.
Politics › Re: Photospeak: Jonathan And TB Joshua Today @ Synagogue by Mogidi: 9:51pm On Sep 20, 2014
Fighter Jets are disappearing from radar in the North and appearing in Lagos to bomb churches, (another church fell in Benin today). I guess no more churches to bomb in the north.

Pastor Ayo Oritsejafor and Ihejirika are besieged by boko haram newspapers for sponsoring boko haram.
But while the above is happening, gworo chewing and fura da nono drinking Bukohari is allowed to enjoy spoils of war in his palatial presidential estate in Daura, makes me sick.

A big thank you to the President for showing solidarity with Christians.
Politics › Re: The Conditions From PDP Gov To GEJ Before Adoption by Mogidi:
So the Governor of Punch newspapers was invited along with PDP Governors to meet with the President.

Punch newspaper is trying too hard to be relevant.

Last week Mai Suya was wrapping my suya with Punch newspaper I shouted for him to stop.

If am buying Suya of #1000 I expect my suya wrapped with the Vanguard. I only clean my yansh with Punch.

Is this the same Buhari who said Abacha was not corrupt or the Buhari who allowed 53 suitcases of his friends to pass the airport without necessary checks? Which Buhari is talking, the buko hari leader or the former PTF overlord who won't explain his stewardship of PTF?

His antecedents exposes his selective anti corruption drive.
Politics › Re: List Of 30 Boko Haram Commanders by Mogidi:
@OP
You forgot the Pope, I heard he was seen around Sambisa in June.

When you come back with the remaining list, I expect to see Bishop Oyedepo and TB Joshua. Boko haram is a Christian movement made up of Anglicans and Catholics.
Great job @OP.

Politics › Re: A Buhari / Fashola Candidacy 2015 by Mogidi: 12:50pm On Sep 20, 2014
Gbawe2: Shut up you nauseating twerp. Can you prove Buhari and Fashola are "two muslim fundamentalist" or are you just a creature of prejudice and self-deceit? I don't even like talking to you or quoting you as I feel I am engaging a vile racist doing such. There is no way to spin what you wrote. Secularity means that religion does not matter and plays no part in the politics of a nation. In reality, it should then not matter if all political candidates are Moslems, Bhuddists or Catholics. Stop using words you do not know the meaning of in the haste to satisfy the prejudice and discrimination that runs through every cell in your body and permeates every post you deliver here.

Nick Clegg, deputy prime Minister of the UK, is atheist and no one gives a damn. No one rose up to oppose him because he chose to reject all religions. You are here telling us choosing Moslems to vie for important office is an "affront to our secularity" and you continue to talk without recognising you are a confused and prejudiced individual trying to stand very simple logic on its head. Nigeria needs no enemies with folks like you as her 'citizens'. You are an ugly bigot for not recognising that the SW you wish to malign below actually best mirrors the desirable and pivotal best practice concept of separating religion from politics.

People of the SW show a genuine and abiding dedication to genuine secularity, i.e relegating religion to the background, you interpret inappropriately and fraudulently to accommodate your biased and discriminatory predisposition. You are a backward caveman. Go and get some exposure and stop disgracing Nigeria with your 1942 level of prejudice and backwardness.
Am thinking this is an exercise in futility since you seem not to understand the context in which "secularity" was deployed. People complain of your long and tedious epistles but never give you credit for being overtly repetitive. I would be exploiting your naive definition of "secularity" if this debate continues.

I have better things to do than engage someone who deploy the word "racist" in vain attempt to deflect guilt unto those of us who regularly spotlight your tribalism.

History and statistics would have made you realize I could deploy lots and lots of raucous and colourful insults like you did above, but considering your age am willing to forgive you.

Respect exist for a reason, I suggest you respect your self.

donroxy: The issues involved in the situation of US not granting sophisticated help to Nigerians IMHO may include :

1. Whether US does not want such gadgets to be used by our Armies cuz of Loyalty issues where some certain powerful Nigerian cabals will deploy such gadgets to their ''region'' and use it to wreck more havoc on Nigeria(ns) !!

2. US would prefer American soldiers to be deployed to BH den alongisde Nigerian soldiers but due to sovereignty and spying issues grin ... Nigeria will not allow that !

3. Maybe US is baiting Nigeria Government in working with China/Russia , I pray Nigeria would never be the ground to test might of superpowers and cold war , amen !!!

4. US is involved in BH and do not want it to end too soon !!

My own Opinion is that, West do not trust the administration of Jonathan to holistically fight insurgency with US deployed Sophisticated Military Hardware cuz before you realise it MEND/MASSOB may have it all!

Also, I think there is International Policy against deploying sophisticated gadgets to Africa nations cuz ''they'' think such can be easily used against the citizens where there is any protest or Uprising !!!

IMHO ooooo cheesy
[/s]

In your rant above, you didn't opine the weapons could fall into the hands of boko haram. You conveniently called out MEND and MASSOB, your boko credentials have been noted.

Politics › Re: A Buhari / Fashola Candidacy 2015 by Mogidi:
Gbawe2: Well-said. To be honest, I don't even bother to comment on threads like this because it will be full of hateful and prejudiced folks with no objectivity whatsoever. You will only encounter people talking crap because of the rigidly 'prehistoric' bias dominating their thinking when others have moved centuries ahead worldwide .

You can easily discern the venomous and bile-driven bias at work. Look at the classic example below with some chap talking about secularity when it appears he does not even know the meaning of the word via suggesting two moslem candidates violates 'secularity'. In a secular nation, because secular means "not connected with religious or spiritual matters", it would not matter if all candidates are Moslems, Christians, Hindu, animist or practitioners of traditional religion. The silly poster manages to actually propagate his devotion to religious bias as a clamour for "secularity". Ridiculous. When you have such rigidly warped reasoning, always turning logic on it head, vocal in these discussions then exposed and focused poster who know what really matter will avoid threads like these. Where has all the focus on religion got Nigeria?
So having two muslim fundamentalist steering the ship of state is not connected to religion? In your haste to reply you didn't see where I accused the duo of wanting to introduce Sharia? Having sharia in Nigeria would really make Nigeria secular wouldn't it?

You should actually listen to yourself like you said in your opening gambit, not following that rule exposes your warped perception of reality. The context in which "secular" was used is more than correct.

Funpeter: Bros have done that still don't understand you. Are you Pastor Ayo Son or is personal assistance? In fact the man should have lead by example and resign from that CAN position, weather gulty or not he should just step aside. But now he has brought shame too Christianity. Jesus even said judgment will start from the church.
The bolded is the real reason for this mundane accusation against the pastor. It won't fly, Oritsejafor will remain C.A.N president till Shekau gets his baptism.

I hate conspiracy theories but in the space of one week two churches have collapsed while all mosques are intact. First was the air plane destroyed SCOAN in lagos under the nose of Alhaji Fashola.

And this recent one under the nose of Alhaji Adamu Aliyu Oshiomhole, is this a covert message to Christians in APC controlled states? If not for Uduaghan, Oritsejafor's church would have been next, watch out.

You don't want GEJ to continue with transformation but you want a return to the 70s and 80s under Buhari.

Allowing every egoat to start a thread is disheartening, I propose we do psychological evaluation before some people are allowed to open threads.
