Politics › Re: Tinubu Blames Mis-governance, Poverty For Rise Of Boko Haram by Mogidi:
Mr Tinubu please tell us how many bombs you received during your 8yrs of "mis-governance in Lagos."
Even in this day and age with boko haram bombing Christians, markets, Schools, Shops etc, Alhaji Tinubu is still seeing this as the case of poverty. Going by Alhaji Tinubu's assertion all hungry people should bomb their neighbours?

The reasons Lagosians have not bombed this rich frog-eyed Alhaji is beyond me, I mean a well wrapped bomb, delivered to his Bourdilon mansion.

shymexx: But why do Igbo people, including you, love traveling to the North so much despite all the vile comments you lot post on this forum? Abuja is in the North - and I know you love Abuja a lot. I've never seen you claim any Igbo state. grin

Northern Nigeria is for Northerners, leave these people alone!
Abuja is in the North but where did the North get the finance to create that city? Its like borrowing money from me to build your estate and then asking why am visiting the estate I funded. We from the SS should claim Abuja as our own because there's no way the North would have been able to fund the building of such a city.
The fact is there are more Igbos coming to the north even this afternoon as I speak. What happens if a governor decides to arrest all the Ekene and Young Shall Grow buses and detain the people on suspicion of being MASSOB members coming to spread anarchy or setup baby factories?
It will be a great idea if they do so, that should quicken the dissolution of this entity known as Nigeria. As long as the Igbos are leaving, we in the SS will follow. Biggest mistake was the SS joining the Federal govt to keep Nigeria one, if we'd joined the Igbos and sought our independence, our region would rival Dubai by now. We have nothing in common with you Hausas, absolutely nothing.

banega: This your hatred for the Igbo's will definitely kill you one day,. Witch¤ ¤ ¤
I doubt if Berem is Igbo, maybe one of her parents but definitely not her mom and dad. Its impossible to hate a tribe you come from this much.

I maybe Edo but I still squirm at the level of hatred she displays towards the Igbos. For someone looking for a husband this is the wrong way to go about it.
My two pence though.

It's now a known fact worldwide that Jonathan is incompetent.
I hope you're paid per stew-pid remarks, you must be a millionaire now
Politics › Re: ‘goodluck Nigeria,’ Says New York Post In Reply To President Jonathan by Mogidi: 5:19pm On Jun 29, 2014
MissMeiya: I just reread your post and realized you were stúpid to realize I was referring to YOU when I said tribalists are uneducated and have been failed by their country.

Secondly, I'm not a Northerner just because I disagree with you. I'm Cross Riverian.

Thirdly, I'm here on NL to understand Nigeria because I plan to use my master's degree to reform whatever small corner of Nigeria I can, because the people I LOVE live there. But I know you don't understand patriotism.

I should be asking you why you aren't on a Nigerian Forum. So, what are you doing here?
You understand patriotism yet you were vitriolic and poured scorn on Nigeria because you were granted asylum in your present country, incredible double speak.
FYI am from Edo state.
Politics › Re: ‘goodluck Nigeria,’ Says New York Post In Reply To President Jonathan by Mogidi: 5:07pm On Jun 29, 2014
MissMeiya: The first time I ever saw a corpse in real life was in Nigeria. Ever saw an AK-47--Nigeria. The only times I ever mourned friends and loved ones--Nigeria. Ever saw body parts raining from the sky after an explosion, had family members resort to jungle justice to avenge murder because the police and courts are next-to-useless, watched an armed robber hack a woman to death with a machete for her purse.

In those aspects, my adopted country has not failed me yet.
Why are you here when you can be in your adopted country's forum? Human beings built those places we are so proud to call "my country".

aresa: Are you saying the imaginary people you are talking about are above the law, they are above the Nigerian president, they are more powerful than the Nigerian president and the Nigerian military and the only solution is hiring American company to launder Jonathan's locally and internationally dirty and terrible image?

You people have silly and moronic answer for every habitual
How feasible do you think it will be to arrest the Buko hari leader Buhari? The entire feudal north will see it as an attack on Islam.
Politics › Re: ‘goodluck Nigeria,’ Says New York Post In Reply To President Jonathan by Mogidi: 5:00pm On Jun 29, 2014
aresa: So, until they repent we are all going to die because they are more powerful than the Nigerian military and the Nigerian president.

Boko Hram, abeg repent because we are all powerless and defenseless even with our $6 billion defense budget.

Sometimes I just wonder about Jonathan and his online town criers..
As long as they stay in their neck of the woods and bomb their people to oblivion its cool by me, no need to repent.
Politics › Re: ‘goodluck Nigeria,’ Says New York Post In Reply To President Jonathan by Mogidi: 4:51pm On Jun 29, 2014
aresa: 1. This has nothing to do with Nigeria but more about Nigerian and bad leadership.

2. GEJ appointed his own service chiefs and his service chiefs are yet to give Nigerians return on their investments.

3. The military trying to fool Nigerians and lying to Nigerians that they rescued the missing girls was unpatriotic and Jonathan refusing to punish or fire the liars and the people involved was equally unpatriotic.

4. Sending Nigerian military men to fight Boko Haram without proper tools to fight with and on empty stomach is unpatriotic.

5. You can not blame the leaders and the people in the states involved simply because at the end of the day, Jonathan is the president and he swore oath to protect every Nigerian including every soul living in the affected states regardless and if he can not do just that, why not just step aside.

6. Jonathan declared state of emergency int he affected states which means Jonathan is in charge of the same affected states, it means he assumed all responsibilities, it means the states are under executive and military rule so it's pretty much ignorant and pointless to point accusing finger at other people.

7. The fact that Boko Hram operates freely and openly for hours in the same states where Jonathan and his military remains in charge and under state of emergency and curfew means they are either worthless, incompetent or just uncaring.

8. You yourself in your corner of Nigeria far far away from the affected states are not safe simply because Jonathan can not protect just 3 out of 36 states.

9. Many Nigerians have died due to bombings in Abuja so who do you blame for that and how safe are you since the Nigerian military and the president can not protect his own immediate vicinity in Abuja where he sleeps?

10. When passing laws, there always obstacles regardless. In the US when they passed the Patriot act, there was oppositions and and lawsuits against the US government everywhere, but the courts sided with the and the people agreed that they must be protected regardless.

Leaders do the right thing always regardless of societal issues and oppositions. ...but so far, the only thing the president did was hiring an American company to repaint his dirty image.

But the same dirty old wine in new bottle is still the same dirty old wine we all know and see on display everyday.
Why don't people like you blame those who said they'd make Nigeria ungovernable? Why don't you direct your anger at the radical religion rewarding jihad? Stop chasing shadows because we know the root cause of this mayhem is to force a muslim president on us.
Politics › Re: ‘goodluck Nigeria,’ Says New York Post In Reply To President Jonathan by Mogidi: 4:45pm On Jun 29, 2014
MissMeiya: I've come to the conclusion that tribalism is due to lack of education. He may never understand the extent to which his country failed him.
Ok Einstein, your country has failed you and you resort to killing and mayhem. Talk of cutting off the nose to spite the face.

You're a genius.

Naijacitizen: Sir, Shari'ah is all about the life and activities of Muslim. So, i did not see any reason for you to frustrate about it since it doesn't affect other non-Muslim. Moreover, if it was apply according to Islam institution, it can protect all of you (non-Muslim).

Pls spare us with all this your yabbing.

I am fasting.
Sharaap dia!!

How can it protect non Muslims when in some Moslem countries they refuse to introduce sharia? Sharia is over 2000yrs old. Sharia laws like cutting off a man's hand for stealing and marrying children will never catch on where I come from.

When Buhari (Buko hari leader) said he would make the nation ungovernable, we did not speak out
Because we are not Ijaws

When they started Boko haram, we did not speak out
Because we're muslims

When they bombed Sabongari we did not speak out
Because we don't live in foreigners quaters

Now they are on the loose bombing emir palaces, motor parks, Schools etc
When they first started advertising online and offline that "GEJ will be the best president Nigeria ever had" in 2012, i said they have started the processes of making Jonathan a dictator - now its beginning to materialise - by 2015 the next level will be assassination of opposing voices and by 2016, GEJ will become a full dictator with the mandate to rule Nigeria for as long as he lives
I hope the highlighted happens, anything that would keep Awusa from ruling is fine by me. I never want to see another Hausa president in my life again. You guys ruled for 40yrs haba.

The only Hausa man I would vote for is Major AL Mustapha, he knows how to keep the Yorubas in check, ask Abiola.

adconline: You will never get it. They have killed more Christians and southerners in Abuja than in Sokoto. They have caused more problems and carnage in Abuja than Sokoto.
Its you that don't get it, my point is let them kill themselves, this is great way to decrease our ever increasing population.

adconline: President Bush and his advisers sat down and went to work. He championed Patriot Act, homeland Security, TSA, etc.And we are asking GEJ to start with the foundation and folks are calling us name. His administration awarded a$470 million contract for CCTV that's not working. What has GEJ done to reserve this contract and install fully functional units?
Don't be a shmuck, Bush had patriotic soldiers at his beck and call. What's the use passing Patriot Act etc that will be disregarded by a region and an army hell bent on causing chaos because they don't have the presidency?

I careless if they make the Sokoto caliphate ungovernable, its good to see you muslims kill ya selves. You guys should bomb Kano, Kaduna and Kafanchan for all I care.
