Most Nigerian companies don't want to pay Nigerian programmers what they deserve, they just want a slave. The best way to work as a programmer in Nigeria is as a freelancer or work remotely for foreign companies online.

That's true, but payment platforms for freelance sites is another headache and selling funds

It's an IT school, and based in Ibadan back then, don't know if they are in Lagos but many IT schools like such exist in Lagos and the training is not that expensive

Alternative is Udemy and other Online coarses, but you still need a mentor
