Realistically, a part of you should always be prepared for the 'what if i don't get it' scenario or else it will hit you like a bolt from the blue if you are not successful in the end.

This sad little story of mine did not end completely with disappointment however. A few months after the EFCC call-ups were made, through the most unlikely of channels, I managed to secure a Job somewhere I can only describe as EXCEPTIONAL. Which prompts the last lesson to be learnt; (4) Always trust God for He has the perfect blueprint mapped out for you! Alhamdullilah! and I sincerely wish all of you success.[/quote

Thanks guys.. So much love naso una like me for dis thread.. I appreciate Jaree.. I'll try my best to still keep ya,all informed if I hear anytin.. I really wanted DSS but air force camp next Sunday is last day to report, and they say a bird in de hand is worth more than a thousand inde bushes,, also patience is a virtue. Am torn between waiting and proceeding... Las las il follow.my hrt..So hopefully dis week DSS go make all of us smile.. Insha Allah.. Fingers crossed!!

No body can assist you without you documentation
Documention means the act or an instance of furnishing or authenticating with documents, if Dss don't have your document how can they call you, and no Oga will help you without submitting your credentials to the appropriate unit

My cousin brother who is an officer and has been working with DSS for over 17years, called me on phone and excitedly says the new Dss boss is the man for the job: As he resumes office on Friday following his appointment on Thursday, he has since released the long awaiting promotions, bonus and allowance for officers who were deprived the benefit by the former DG, Lawal Daura. He further assured me that the next file he will touch is "Recruitment File" probably this week. Optimistically, he says they will contact us before end of the month.

Hey there, the training budget has already been taken care of, what u saw was security votes for the next election that's yet to be passed. Doesn't concern the new recruits, let's see how dis new week will come out tho suspecting something good will turn out.. it's been five months since documentation, like we know it takes 4,5,6 months highest before camp opens.. so just keep ur fone on, almost there.

Brace up...we are olmst at the finish line....only few and fortunate amongst us will receive the call which is an eventuality....so lets take one day at a time and find something to keep us occupied...that way, if some among us are not fortunate to receive the call,it wunt hurt us as much as if we are unoccupied with anything...regardless life goes on.....believe me i am talking out of experiece...when
all you do is expect the call day in day out,even a week will feel like a month...just a little advice for us to digest.
