"Ways to Make Your Natural Hair More Manageable

When combing or detangling your hair, always comb from the ends to the root using a wide tooth comb.
Natural hair is easier to comb while wet! Many naturals can attest to this.
Provide your hair with adequate moisture to prevent drying and breakage. Moisture is a MUST!
Regular conditioning is also a MUST. It will become a very important part of your natural hair care routine.
Keep heat to a minimum. If you must use heat, please invest in a good heat protectant. Keep in mind that heat (like chemicals) can alter and damage your natural hair texture.

Essential Tools Needed for Natural Hair Care

A wide tooth comb.
A boar bristle brush for smoothing down edges.
H20 - Yes, lots and lots of agua. Natural hair thrives on water.
A good detangler.
A good hair softening cream.
A very good moisturizer.
A very, very good shampoo & conditionersmiley
A leave-in Conditioner.
Scarves, headbands, clips and other accessories to achieve various hairstyles.

Good Natural Products to Have

Shea Butter
Aloe Vera Gel
Jojoba Oil
Coconut Oil

~Lol,No woories ,i take it your hair is natural?  undecided

~You're going to have to wash your hair again . . . then,You should try using a wide tooth comb & very gently make an effort to detangle just after you've conditioned it,shouldnt have left it to dry out w/o detangling . . .

Food › Re: Sushi: Would You Ever Eat It by mohawkchic(f): 5:39am On May 01, 2009
Futomaki: Thick rolled sushi with many ingredients inside and each piece is very large. Many variations on futomaki have been seen. Nori can be on outside or inside and one order can be anywhere from 4-10 pieces.

Uramaki: Sometimes called inside-out roll. This style of sushi has become very popular and is most seen in sushi bars in America. Some people say that it is popular in America because the Seaweed is hidden on the inside of the roll and sushi beginners are less intimidated to eat it. One order is usually 6 pieces but 8 pieces is also common.

Temaki: Hand Rolls that are meant to be eaten from the hand like an ice cream cone. One order is 1 cone filled with ingredients.

Chirashi, Sushi Bowls: These include Chirashi (sampler of fish served over a bowl of sushi rice), Donburri is like chirashi but just one kind of fish that you would choose. For example Unagi-Donburri would be Just Unagi (freshwater eel) served over a bowl of sushi rice.

Types Of Sushi

Sashimi: Sliced fish attractivly served. Raw, cooked or pickled fish cut into 3-5 pieces. Usually presented on top of a few leaves of shiso and grated daikon with wasabi and ginger on the side.

Nigiri: Pieces of fish on top of two balls of sushi rice, sometimes a slice of roasted Nori (seaweed) is put on to bind the fish to the rice and to add flavor and eye appeal. One order is 2 pieces.

Gunkan Nigiri: There is another form of Nigiri called Gunkan Nigiri. Gunkan means boat and this sushi gets the name from the way the main ingredient is held in place on top of the sushi rice. It is in a boat shape. The three main types of sushi served as Gunkan Nigiri are Tobiko, Ikura (pictured), and Uni. One order is 2 pieces.

Hosomaki: Thin rolled sushi with very little rice. The Nori (Roasted seaweed) is rolled on the outside of the roll. One order of hosomaki is usually 6 pieces.

~I should first of all Thank You for Raising Awareness about this disease!

~Prior to reading your Posts,i've read up on Mental Illness . .I've got a couple of m8's that work in that sector! Last year, there were so many cases i read about mothers w/ mental illness that harmed their children,It was scary. . . 3 out of 5 of these cases were African women,it dawned on me not a lot has been done in rasing awareness about mental illness within the african community, but i suppose the Stigma of the disease stops people from talking about it!

~I've found your thread Insightful ~Educative . . here's hoping it will reach out to people!!

Dis Guy:
he is apparently a 'successful' property developer with properties valued at a quarter of a million pounds in the current climate. I think he is a nice guy and should stick to lording it over 11-16 years olds in the secondary school.

Sir Alan: whoever employs noorul in the future better get a receipt! ouch. . .

Yasmin and Howard or James are the real candidates for this one, Yasmin will grow and show her real strength after all the weeds and childish antics are done with, and Howard he's good plus a black guy's won it a female's won it what else you expect from  diversity n equality Britain- a batty man to win it wink

I see mona doing pantomime or celebrity this and that when the shows over, i just cant see her doing anything much really good team member though- she'll massage that ego just fine or perhaps its the editing  undecided

whenever philip is talking i have to put the subtitle on  sad
~That pretty much summed up what Sir Alan thought of him ! Ouch indeed!!

~I agree James,Yasmina,Howard are emerging as front runners along with Kate!

~ grin LoL at your dig on "batty man winning it" . . . .has he been a Project manager? undecided Am thinking Howard,Mona or "Cassandra" cud well be PM next week

Tatase:
I can't believe that Simon liked Matt's performance. I mean, does he have ears?!?!? Matt was so off-key for the most part, I was hoping he'd just stop and start over. He was soooo much better in the rehearsal before he was asked to change the key.

Kris wasn't as good as last week at all, but I still like him as a performer. Danny was good in his usual high class wedding singer way. Adam was flawless hitting all his notes as usual (and of course it was very theatrical) and Allison's vocal was really pretty, she did well and hit her notes perfectly.
~I liked his rendition better when he changed his key! Me,i cud be done deaf! Dunno about Simon grin

~Loved all of the performances!
