SeanT21:
Did your grandma beat the ingredients in the mortal using the pestle back in Sierra Leone?? That's how we made ours.It was a lot of work taking that pestle up and down oo. I grew some female muscles.

Do U know Milk Candy?? Its made from Carnation milk in the can.I can not find a pic of the finish product.Sierra Leone's and Liberians have some snacks in common so maybe U heard about it.

Another one is DOUGHNUT. Fry sugared Doughnut. I love mine hot, steamy, sugary, huge and well fried. wink
~Yeah, using the pestle for the Peanut & Garri gives it that fine texture! Wow,You sure are taking me back w/ those memories. . its been ages!

~ I was facinated w/ the teqnique folks used while pounding. . .especially the kids in the provinces/villages!: I did do several unsuccesful attempt at trying to experiment w/ it,but it leaves the palm rough & it is hard work! I have nothing but admiration for girls/women who use it on a daily basic!

~Milk Candy? Do You mean "Butter Scotch" ? It's made w/ Condensed Milk & Butter then rolled on both palms into small balls. . I loved eating Butter scotch,i tried to make it a couple of months ago but i messed it up,it got burnt grin

~Yeah i remember Doughnuts,not one of my fav tho. . too stuffy/puffy. . .

~Lisa is no good at confrontations, she's only good at manipulating her henchmen!: I loved every minute of Half-wit actually saying what he thinks of Lisa to her face! Even tho he got cocky on the "Public Likes Me" part. . i was a bit like he does annoyingly "Hmm. . .long Sigh" cheesy Not a Smart move!

~The David & Marcus face-off i didnt expect so soon at all. . i thought it will brew a lil bit more. . .

~I aint even banging on about their fights b/c they'd soon kiss & make up: Bea has w/ David, only a matter of time for Half-wit & Lisa to if neither goes!

~What was that convo in the pool all about w/ Bea: Marcus uses people's insecurities against them! It worked w/ Noirin, now he's using Bea's "Do i whinge a lot" moment of weakness against her!

~I loved the pastry off Meat/Fish Pies but the Onions were off putting for me! I'd always be the one opening my Meat pie to get rid of all the Onions!: The only time I enjoy eating Meat Pie as an Adult is when i make a request for it to be made w/o Onions & for Cubes of Boiled Potatoes to be added:

~The Plantain Chips I remember were Long strips of fried plantain chips, almost the length of the plantain. . .not like the round small ones sold in african stores! There'll be like 3/4 in a packet!
