Barrister Solomon Dalung spoke well during his senate screening. See some of the quotes gotten from his session: "Change can only be achieved when we review existing projects and incorporate pre-existing ones" "Haven been nominated, I offer myself for selfless service." "Corruption is a generic term'' "If we do not determine what corruption is, we may smuggle morality into law" "We must practice what our religions preach. Islam and Christianity are religions of peace." ''Change is not a concept; it is an ideology." ''Only the law can define 'a corru t person.' "Nigerian prison systems are punitive. The morale of prison officers have been dampened" "The over dependency of oil has made Nigerians lazy people" ''We are yet to build a nation united in diversity'' ''Corruption cannot be reduced to an opinion. It must be defined by an act of the National Assembly" "We celebrate undefined wealth." |
By appointing himself as petroleum minister is he to enjoy two salaries? If so this Daura man is really smart. |

Katsina State governor, Hon Aminu Bello Masari, has approved the appointment of Isyaku Bello, the principal of President Muhammadu Buhari’s former school, as Secretary of State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB).http://www.leadership.ng/news/461834/masari-appoints-buharis-principal-as-subeb-scribe |
Former Jigawa State governor, Alhaji Sule Lamido yesterday said his arrest by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) is a political hazard that a serious politician must pass through. Lamido spoke to journalists at his NNDC’s residential house in Kano shortly after his returned from Abuja accompanied by his two sons, Mustapha and Aminu. He described his arrest as the beginning of restoration of confidence in political leadership in Nigeria. He recalled that this is not the first time he has been incarcerated and therefore he will never be discouraged in politics. He said he had gone through many political incarcerations in the past and that if the purpose of his recent arrest by the EFCC is to humiliate, deconstruct and destroy then people should not be discouraged. “In the process to improve democracy, there would be some mistakes. I am not a perfect human being; I have my own shortcomings............ http://www.dailytrust.com.ng/daily/index.php/politics/60174-lamido-my-arrest-is-political-hazard |
SHARIAREPORTERS:The Militry gallant team are already trekking for Shekau in Sambisa. |
Why do Lamido named streets after
G7 governors?
many are in dilemma on why the
Governor chooses to name and lunch
only those roads that are named after
the G7 governors where there are
those named after prominent people
like PGEJ, GMB, OBJ, Sultan, IBB,
Abdulsalamu and many more.
if you can recall G7 started when 7 of
the PDP governors have an
understanding that the then PDP
leadership is digging grave of the
party they build after somany
hardship, and agree to give conditions
for the party to respect, due to many
reasons as the party was filled with
those in class of idont give a damn
attituted some of their conditions
where respected while others where
not, then the governors decide to
leave the party to those class, but
oldest in the team ie Lamido and
Babangida Aliyu foresight show them
leaving the party is not an option at
that time, they decide to stay and let
the five under Barajes leadership to
move to APC wich give APC super
power to win the 2015 election.
The team definately need tobe
celebrated! |

In 2015 election card readers where introduced to authenticate the election but after the PVC verification the reader became useless as it is not used during any of the qualations either at polling unit, ward, LGA, state or at national level. it is clearly stated that the readers have general server but the statictis of the election process is not out, let us know how many people peoples PVCs where screened compared to the total votes cast, so as to clear doubt that the turnout of people during Governorship Election in states like Kano and Jigawa is Higher than that of Presidential election, that Media and Observers show is the election with high turnout in the History of Nigerian Election. add your view to let this reach its destination. |
