PoliticsKatsina Governor Appoints Buhari’s Principal As SUBEB Scribe by Mohdadutse(op): 8:38am On Sep 19, 2015
Katsina State governor, Hon Aminu Bello Masari, has approved the appointment of Isyaku Bello, the principal of President Muhammadu Buhari’s former school, as Secretary of State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB).

Bello was the principal of famous Government College Katsina, who released the school certificate result of President Muhamadu Buhari, then as APC presidential candidate, following the hue and cry by the then ruling PDP presidential campaign team that the General has no school certificate.

A statement signed by the Secretary to Katsina State Government, Mustapha Muhammad Inuwa, said the appointment was in line with section 18 (1 & 2) of law Number 4 “which allows such appointments by the governor.”

The terse statement observed that the appointment takes immediate effect.

LEADERSHIP Weekend reports that until his appointment, Bello was the principal of Government College Katsina, the former school of President Muhammadu Buhari.

It would be recalled that few days after the school released the result of President Buhari, there was a posting at the social media that the principal was allegedly murdered. Of course, the posting went viral in the social media prompting several enquiries from different quarters.

It cannot be said with certainty if the latest appointment by the Katsina State APC-led Government was a reward for all that the principal endured while the hue and cry over the president’s certificate lingered.

PoliticsLamido: My Arrest Is Political Hazard by Mohdadutse(op): 8:37am On Jul 18, 2015
Former Jigawa State governor, Alhaji Sule Lamido yesterday said his arrest by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) is a political hazard that a serious politician must pass through.
Lamido spoke to journalists at his
NNDC’s residential house in Kano
shortly after his returned from Abuja accompanied by his two sons,
Mustapha and Aminu.
He described his arrest as the beginning of restoration of confidence
in political leadership in Nigeria.
He recalled that this is not the first
time he has been incarcerated and
therefore he will never be discouraged in politics.
He said he had gone through many political incarcerations in the past and that if the purpose of his recent arrest by the EFCC is to humiliate, deconstruct and destroy then people should not be discouraged.
“In the process to improve democracy, there would be some mistakes. I am not a perfect human being; I have my own shortcomings............

PoliticsRe: Lamido Names Streets After ‘G7-Governors’ by Mohdadutse(m): 7:37am On May 11, 2015
Why do Lamido named streets after G7 governors? many are in dilemma on why the Governor chooses to name and lunch only those roads that are named after the G7 governors where there are those named after prominent people like PGEJ, GMB, OBJ, Sultan, IBB, Abdulsalamu and many more. if you can recall G7 started when 7 of the PDP governors have an understanding that the then PDP leadership is digging grave of the party they build after somany hardship, and agree to give conditions for the party to respect, due to many reasons as the party was filled with those in class of idont give a damn attituted some of their conditions where respected while others where not, then the governors decide to leave the party to those class, but oldest in the team ie Lamido and Babangida Aliyu foresight show them leaving the party is not an option at that time, they decide to stay and let the five under Barajes leadership to move to APC wich give APC super power to win the 2015 election. The team definately need tobe celebrated!

Basildvalour:
OP, the point is that the card readers were not fully utilised because it was not 100% effective in the sense that when it failed to authenticate some registered voters, they resorted to manual verification.

Going by this knowledge, using the card readers to collate results thereby matching them with the accredited voters that the card readers registered will be a total failure because some people were accredited manually which were not captured by the card readers
even if manual method is used but can be included as long as due process was followed
PoliticsJEGA Must Explain! by Mohdadutse(op): 1:00pm On Apr 24, 2015
In 2015 election card readers where introduced to authenticate the election but after the PVC verification the reader became useless as it is not used during any of the qualations either at polling unit, ward, LGA, state or at national level. it is clearly stated that the readers have general server but the statictis of the election process is not out, let us know how many people peoples PVCs where screened compared to the total votes cast, so as to clear doubt that the turnout of people during Governorship Election in states like Kano and Jigawa is Higher than that of Presidential election, that Media and Observers show is the election with high turnout in the History of Nigerian Election.
