PoliticsRe: 10 Month Old Jigawa Airport Airlift Pilgrims by Mohdadutse(op): 9:02am On Oct 06, 2013
Wild celebrations erupted yesterday in Jigawa State as the first plane took off from the new Dutse International Airport with Governor Sule Lamido and other government officials on board.
Thousands of people from within and outside the state gathered at the airport to witness the historical event in the 23-year-old state.
During the test flight, Lamido and
some top government officials used a small Airbus which accommodated 20 passengers to travel to Saudi Arabia for the 2013 hajj exercise. Lamido described the occasion as a testimony to how Jigawa was developing on unimaginable speed like the Asian Tigers.
He said during the 2011 campaign, President Goodluck Jonathan promised to construct an airport in Jigawa and three other capital projects, but, two years after, there was no sign that he would fulfil the promise.

In last months of 2012 GEJ laid the foundation of Dutse international Cargo airport, when the governor awarded the contract in phases to reputable companys; Dantata and Sawoe are to contsruct the runways while CGC the main hall structure, offices and the tower. Governor lamid urged the contractors to finish in short period of time and promised that jigawa pilgrims will be air lifted from jigawa.
Governor lamido have made it, he really do because 5th oct 2015 his team flew from this port, the structures there were far far beyond expectation, and no where to found in black nation, although with finishing touches on the process.

The time for sectional, tribal or religious endoursing is over, the 2015 election must be a national consensus, a trusted and reliable one that can deliver, although one may say, is not something to taste, yes opcourse, but there are somany majors in identifying a good leader that will govern well.
We already shine our eyes!

THE POSER
Sincerely, who should the Niger-delta people support
in the fight between President Jonathan and
Governor Amaechi? Because when the chips are
down, it is Amaechi's interest at the national phase
that is the issue. And that interest, can at best only
secure him a Vice-presidential slot, which he is not
sure of winning. But the Niger deltans already have a
presidential slot which supporting Jonathan may
guarantee it's stay for another four years. So, who
should the Niger deltans be supporting. Please, no
fowl language. Any insulting view will be deleted as
soon as it is seen
A. Amaechi
B. Jonathan
C. Nobody
D. Provide your own analysis without any insult

Can somebody tell me where this GULAK of a man is heading to?
This opportunist that mate ready made president GEJ that he serve just an aid is insulting the members of G9, those that made even GEJ a president by entering all the corners of this great nation of our to call people to vote for PDP (GEJ) and GEJ proove that he cant make it to promise land, and they took this burden to scout for the future of this great country of ours and he called them a selfish team. What why cant you called them when they follow same procedure in installing your father GEJ.
You better look responsible cause people like LAMIDO are not that type to match on, although with culture of olderly person there are those to attack, no matter whom you are. Take care!

PoliticsThe Future Is Pregnant: by Mohdadutse(op): 7:21am On Jul 22, 2013
All is not well with the giant of Africa. The disease
syndrome has been on for sometimes even though it
was diagnosed earlier for demise by 2015. There is a
saying that a problem identified is a problem half
solved but this may not be applicable in this
situation.
No doubt, events are unfolding very fast in Nigeria
which are quite serious to the survival of democracy.
Although the country has been facing similar
challenges all through its self discovery political
journey. However, no lesson has been learnt since
first republic. The disagreement between Chief
Awolowo and Akintola in then then Western Region
over the political soul of the region culminated into
the historic military intervention.
In the second republic, the political war between
Chief Michael Ajasin and Chief Omoboriowo for the
control of Ondo state led to another open invitation
of military interregnum. This was characterized by
crude display of power by the the party in the
central government to capture power at all means.
Consequently, there was large scale violence which
arrested the democracy.
Even though, we have celebrated successful survival
of many political booby traps in this dispensation
and can boast of relative stability, it is not yet uhuru.
This is so because malignant political symptoms of
negative history appears to be re enacting itself. The
gradual erosion of public confidence in the institution
of public affairs is incomparably high. Monumental
theft coupled with brazen corrupt practices is
graduating into a religion of sort. Antagonistic
reactions to the rule of law motivated by discredited
electoral system, insecurity, youth unemployment,
fraud, armed robbery, rape, kidnappings, babies
production syndicates etc all pointed positively to a
match towards state of anarchy.
The manipulation of religious cum ethnic divide to
justify non performance by leaders has further polo
risked the polity. Not only that but the over
stretching of unconstitutional powers beyond legal
limits as weapon of subduing dissenting opinions has
over heated the polity as well.
When the sanctity of the mandate of NGF was being
bastardized some people reduced it to trivialities
based on parochial considerations but the hand
writing was on the wall that any handshake that
extends beyond the elbows is no more greeting but
an invitation to wrestling. Sadly, the genuine pigs of
this power struggle cannot see beyond the obvious.
It is pertinent to pause here that what stake does
the presidency has in the Chairmanship of NGF if not
for 2015? An what obstacle does the Rivers State
Governor constitutes that the presidency believed
that diplomacy cannot achieve expect war?
The occupation of the state using the police by the
wife of the President is the greatest treat to
democracy. It also call for a review of the illegal
office of the First Lady where funds meant for
provisions of essential services are diverted for
prosecution of anti democratic battles. Even the
unprofessional conduct of the Commissioner of
Police in Rivers State who offered himself as an
undertaker of deity job calls for concern. This has
destroyed public confidence and image of the
institution. The commissioner is culpable for the state
of affairs in Rivers and must be made to account for
his conduct if not now then certainly latter.
The impeachment drama of the anti-Ameachi
elements was not professional rehearsed therefore
Wes destined to to embarrassed the actors. It is an
extension of war without end which started with NGF
elections where a loser with 16 votes parades himself
as anointed rigger. Otherwise what was the logic of
five members attempting an impeachment of a
majority of 27 members Speakers? This was
stratergy of morons whose power psychology is
impaired. The best results of war plans of illiterates is
disaster and that was what happened in the Rivers
state House of Assembly.
Events happening in Rivers State will truncate
democracy if Nigerians continue to sit on the fence
or betray the truth. No doubt certains acts of the
Governor are excessive but the method of approach
of the Presidency and People's Democratic Party has
made him hero. The hazy manner of his suspension
immediately after his election as Chairman NGF and
his immediate expulsion from the party no doubt
pointed positively at the architects of the power
play.
Looking at history with the benefit of high sight, no
doubt democracy is rolling fast to chaos, therefore
every effort must be mobilized to save it from
drifting into anarchy. The President must call the
Commissioner of Police to order, while his wife
conducts herself within the ambit of law because she
is not elected into the office of the First Lady.
Governor Ameachi must also realize that he occupies
the office of the Governor therefore respect begets
respect.

STAND UP AND SPEAK OUT
If you really like this as the only way forward, then we are to setup a groap to advocate for a nation that can grow beyond religious and ethic barriers remove the scales placed over our eyes and tackle these greedy to the floor. Then we can all shout a nation bound in freedom, peace and unity at last.
PoliticsRe: Arewa Youths Oppose Elders Over 2015 by Mohdadutse(m): 10:41am On Jul 20, 2013
What these youth are saying is the last truth but the problem topic like this suppost to be a national issue let it be by nigerians, all these divisions was part of the problem the country fall in, if we dont want a leader let it be because he cant make changes not because he is not from my region, religion of ethnicity.
Why arewa consultative forum?
Why arewa youth forum?
If nigerian youth will decide to say no to you is totally no because the youth believe in change and that is the type of change we need. I beleive everybody suffers setback from these type of understanding.
Let us speak for our dear nation 9ja formulated as one nation bound in freedom peace and unity. Let us think wisely.
