Yes, they are doing that so that we can follow the rule of law really....especially in areas where religions are the minority.

Because the persecution complex I am talking of often time erupts in violence against people who are religious minorities...eg Muslim mob violence, Christians burning traditionalist shrines and so on.

All in all, if government enforced the rule of law all the time, instead of doing 'peace committees', maybe the persecution complex that is fueling the crisis that led to us being listed by the US would have ended a long time ago.

But is there a systemic effort being made to make all of Nigeria Muslim? The answer, regardless of what the US or anyone says , is NO.

If only you know how many Christians are being prosecuted and killed in KADUNA, BORNO, KOGI, BENUE, TARABA, PLATEAU, and ADAMAWA while so many are being forced to flee from their homes and villages you will not come to my mention to spew rubbish. But if you are a Muslim saying all this I will understand your sentiments but if you’re a Christian I’m sorry for you and your generation unborn for your deliberate self blindness

The whole 'Muslims are coming to get us' thing has been on since the 1970's.(I even recall reading an article about the Islmaisaiton of Nigeria in 1994! And before then there were all sorts of plots. ) And up till now, Christianity still grows and grows in Nigeria to the point where some people think the next center of christianity is going to be in Nigeria and other subsaharan countries.

And you should also see what the Muslims believe about us.(Christians are coming to convert all of us. Be watchful!)

Both religions in Nigeria have a persecution complex. And smart Nigerian politicians use this to get votes and more votes and more votes while they don't solve the underlying problems of which religious crisis is a symptom.

(And don't cough out Boko Haram as an example...Boko has killed lots of Muslims too..and are active in Muslim majority areas. Fulani hardsmen also attack Muslim areas too...ie the bandits of Sokoto, Zmafara and Katsina).

Buhari himself is a classic example of the Nigerian politican that uses the persecution complex for his own ends. When in opposition he was a 'Defender of Islam'. Since he got into office....he has passed no laws making Sharia the law of the land. Has passed no laws making it mandatory for Muslims to be employed only, and so on.He just used the fears of Muslims of Christian domination to get voted in. Likewise most Nigerian politicians (adjust for religion).

There are so many privileged information that you may not have the privilege to know... how do you explain America putting Nigeria on their Special Watch list or do you think they are crazy?

It's all part of the plan. Make people scared to vote for you. Fear works. Whichever side you are on. In eight years , people would probably be labeling Pete Buttigieg the next antichrist, or maybe a pretender who wants to make all gay people suffer..or whoever takes up the mantle.
