Life hit at us differently but that guy taking anti depressant must be going through a lot. Wow. I don't subscribe to taking drugs if you are depressed. To me, it will only complicate issues.

There are so many things to be thankful of, especially health. Thank God for health.

You are far more certain than the Israelis taking unprecedented precautions.

-Lord

Up till now, Israel has not deny or accept responsibility of the bombing of Iran Embassy in Damascus.

In life, anything that is possible can happen. So taking precautions is necessary and normal.

See countries like Finland and Sweden joining NATO. Is possible Russia might attack them one day, so they joined NATO to protect themselves against any Russia aggression.

A country that has millions of people living below the poverty line. For a low income country like Nigeria, the threshold is 3.+ dollars per day. Let's say per dollar to Naira is 1200. I can say over 80 million Nigerians are not spending more than 4000+ Naira a day. Reason we were one time called the world poverty capital.

A country that has perhaps the lowest minimum wage in the world not just Africa.

How can the common masses survive now. People are saying is only Band A. Tor. Tinubu na beg we dey oh.

How is this controversial?

We Christians believe everything we have is given to us by God, Jesus. Anything. Jobs, we will say thank you Jesus. Money, food, we will say thank you Jesus.

We believe it is God, Jesus that gave us money to pay our taxes and all.

This much we can agree on. I am not about to get suckered into a back-and-forth "banter" with you, and I certainly am not looking forward to convincing you of anything you choose to believe or take away from my response.

You asked why Nigerian female artists are not collaborating with each other given the rise of feminism globally/on the net, and I gave you a probable context as to why.

You also said you do not understand why feminists have an issue with Odumodu and you said their issue is actually a non-issue because you know girls in real life who vibe to his song, and I told you why that is so as well. Fin.

Tiwa and Simi are cooking something sha. The title of the song is " Men are Crazy". The song will be released this Friday I think.

Bello no calm anything, person wey dey reply trolls and critics with harsh words despite now being a politician,he was the same person who said he will rape somebody's mum....He seem to be understably neutral in this(uba vs his father) because he was mentored, appointed as an aide when uba was a senator..

Some guys are like that, if you insults them for social media them go insults you too. Just like what Sadiq Umar said the other time. That if he were Iwobi, he will insults those trolls too.

Him saying he will rape someone mum is a no no even though is an exchange between him and a troll/ critic on social media.

.... you see Bashir. That one d take en father fight personal.

If that's the case , why didn't El-Rufai's son just state it in his response to Uba Sani that his father has already increased the state's IGR and that's what the governor should be grateful for instead of whining about FAAC allocation not being enough to sort salaries ?

I thought thought that boy claim to be educated . Why does he choose the path of insult when there's actually fact on ground to counter the governor's claims ?

Bashir El Rufai likes fight. He likes fighting his father's enemies. En d buy en father fight.

You are right. Kaduna IGR is about N80bln per year, more than enough to cover salaries etc.

Why the mudslinging between Sani and ElRufai?

I really don't know but I am guessing it has something to do with the ministerial slot or something.

I didn't even know they are having problems not until yesterday when one of his sons blasted Uba Sani. Bashir El Rufai is very stubborn sha. En no d hear word. Bello is wiser, calculated and calm

Nobody arguing what Uba Sani said cos it's out in the open. Below is what he said

What Theflint1 and other people like myself are concerned about is what the governor didn't say. He didn't talk about the IGR. Yes we undertand there's exchnage fluctuatuons which is affecting the amount they are using to service the debt from FAAC allocation.

But what happened to the IGR generated locally ? Like the IGR they generate in real time at the current value of the naira ? He kept mum about that but boldly telling who cares to listen that anytime soon salary might stop for civil servants .

The fact that u got March salary as a civil servant does not mean u will get April's. The way the governor came out to announce this unprovoked shows there's shege ahead. Except he just feels like spreading panic to u guys sha

He talked about FAAC alone for reasons best known to him but IGR is there to cover for any fall.

Kaduna State cannot owe salaries. Is not just possible at all.

If you read everything, he said despite this challenges, look at what I have done and about to do bla bla bla. Where en get money to do all those things?

https://dailytrust.com/why-kaduna-cant-pay-salaries-gov-sani/

Just headline sir. If you read it in details you will get the point sir.

Like saying only FAAC can't pay salary but there's IGR to cover for that. He can also borrow to do other things aside salaries if change no remain.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) / Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by monerozi5590: 4:44am On Apr 01
BlueRayDick:

U are missing his point. He's not claiming IGR dried up; instead he's asking what happened that Uba Sani suddenly cannot pay salaries with increased FAAC allocation and the same level of IGR El-Rufai left behind 9-10 months ago?

Yes El-Rufai was also servicing debt and all; but how come Uba Sani is saying Debt servicing alone has swallowed all the state's potential income? What was El-Rufai doing?

Uba Sani is complaining about the exchange rate in paying debt.

If you check what he said yesterday, they deducted his FAAC to service debt. He only received the net allocation.

Kaduna State is paying salary. Kaduna State is not owing her workers one kobo.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) / Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by monerozi5590: 4:39am On Apr 01
GloriousGbola:

of course they will be - it is the civil service of kaduna who may find themselves on 'afusa ' [half salary] that will not be fine about this

Not possible sir. Not Kaduna. Kaduna State can even pay salary without FAAC.

The states with robust internal revenue are Lagos, Kano, Anambra, Edo, Enugu, Imo, Kaduna, Kwara, Osun, Ogun and Zamfara.

Theflint1:
Na so IGR take dey dry up ni, all within 9 months? The IGR came about from businesses and machinery that were put in place and these things are not what would just up and vanish within 9 months, so it's either those IGR numbers were being manipulated somehow, or whatever IGR is being generated is being swallowed by the debt El-Rufai left behind.

That said I don't think complaints are the way to go, Uba Sani is APC just like El-Rufai, and I believe would have been in the know of things if he wasn't even part of the government on some level, no be im suppose dey complain.

Who tell you sai IGR dry up. Even before the coming of El Rufai, Kaduna State is up there in terms of revenue generated per state.

There's a reason why El Rufai is called a digital governor. El Rufai digitised some things in Kaduna State like collection of tax and all. El Rufai reform tax collection in Kaduna State. The E- payment platform helps to block leakages in revenue collection. This even boost Kaduna IGR to a new level.

El Rufai met debt too, both external and domestic debt when he came in as governor. He left with debt too and some savings in the state treasury.

No one can deny the work of El Rufai in Kaduna State, not even his enemies.

No point in continuing this argument.

Faac is at an all time high and they are still borrowing like their lift depends on it

No think am like that. Federal allocation is still revenue to the states and FG. They count it as revenue.

The bolded is what Uba Sani explained here. Those guys have to pay back the debt and they must pay using revenue of the state.

If you factor in the exchange rate then you will understand why some of them have to borrow. They are paying almost 3 times of what was borrowed

All the states in Nigeria including FCT have foreign and domestic debts wei them the pay.

Oga, Buhari borrowed Nigeria back to stone age in the words of Sowore. Of all the presidents that ruled since 1999 Buhari borrowed the most and left the country worse than he met it.

Funny thing is Tinubu in the 2024 budget has reduced Nigeria's reliance on borrowings by 3.8% another subtle way of telling anybody that cares to listen that Buhari was just recklessly borrowing future generations away

Buhari subsidised PMS and forex. Make things no too cost for common man.

Tinubu removed subsidy on PMS and forex (not totally though) hence the 3.8 reduction you talked about.

U obviously didn't read the part where he said 97% of the budget is already being used for debt servicing.

Is that what happened under Jonathan?

Tinubu's spokesperson is practically saying Buhari was foolish to have borrowed the whole country away while there are so many leakages in the system, u are saying Jonathan borrowed, Buhari borrowed and Tinubu will borrow. smh

97 percent of our revenue or budgeted revenue the person mean to say.

All those debt na accumulation of previous debt join and like you know the budget size keeps increasing.

They will certainly be deficit because some of those debt most have matured and the government need to pay through revenue generated.

While we were criticizing Buhari's borrowings, Femi Adesina & APC apologists were busy calling everybody wailers. They praised Buhari to high heavens. Femi Adesina will be busy replying Punch Newspapers editorials up and down telling us how borrowing is a finance tool & that the borrowings are justified. Smh

Now Tinubu's spokesperson in the same APC is telling us Tinubu inherited a broke and indebted country.

It is well o

If you have a deficit. Like budget deficit you will borrow na. The borrowing no be today e start. Na since from the military era sef.

Jonathan borrowed, Buhari borrowed and the same Tinubu is still borrowing up till now.
