You people did this in Ghana, now it it the turn of south Africa, later you will be saying people hate Igbos. Na wa o What do you think Sarkin Hausawa and Seriki Fulani mean. The Sarkin Hausawa of Enugu is actually addressed as HRH Sarki Abubakar Yusuf Sambo Sarkin Hausawa of Enugu. or you don't know there is an Oba Yoruba in Enugu, Ebonyi, Anambra and Aba. |

DomPerignon: I got some webm videos of an F-15 clearly being hit by an Iranian hypersonic.
Iranian Bros are using SU-35 Jets to launch hypersonic missiles deep in Iranian airspace using advanced Chinese radar targeting tech similar to that deployed in the Pakistani -Indian air war which Pakistan used to obliterate the Indian air and ground forces.
You lost .
Now go back to you bunker Pakistan obliterated the indian air and ground forces and yet surrendered to India (Lt. Gen. J.S. Aurora accepted the surrender). How does the victor of a war surrender? Iran are launching missiles from ground. they lost their airspace. What Trump and Netanyanhu did (and are doing) is condemnable even though i have no sympathy for the Isalmic Govt of Iran as they have been trouble formentors themselves. Dont add insult to injury with your useless delusions. |

AMINDA: It's not by typing ferociously on Nairaland to farm "likes" from the WhatsApp group. Get Ribadu on phone and ask him to arrest Elrufai for tapping his calls. Just make sure the line is secure while at it. You wouldn't want that one tapped too, or would you? He will be arrested and nothing will fall. His only saving grace previously was the lack of court warrant for his arrest. He provided the court warrant on national TV. It was a major goof. admit it. There is nothing like bait here. It is a goof pure and simple. |

Nigerians can now see how informations are being leaked to Boko Haram and other terrorist organizations. With evil and unpatriotic elements like El-Rufai, there is no way terrorism can end soon.
Our security forces should not waste any further time, El-Rufai should be arrested immediately and prosecuted for espionage, terrorism, and treason. El Rufai goofed. Please Seun don't goof like El-Rufai |

Canada & Europe spent the last 80 years helping the US invade and destroy other weak countries.
Canada partook in the spoils of war in all the countries the US invaded and destroyed. They received their own share of oil and gold stolen from those countries.

Politics › Re: GDP By Country 2025: See Where Nigeria Is. by monex(m): 2:06pm On Feb 01 |
eazzzy1: GDP is not an accurate method of a countries wealth. How do you explain that when we were top 20, our government was borrowing to pay salaries. Now we aren’t in the top 50 and decade old pension arrears are being paid. GDP is the best (although for quality of life you need to divide per capita and factor in wealth distribution) estimate of a country's wealth. Government revenue (or better solvency e.g. ability to pay salaries) is actually a poor estimate of a country's wealth. Govt revenue is Nigeria is basically tax and oil windfall. The current govt is generating more revenue via taxes. |

patrikoolar: China rose from an underrated country in the '70's, whose population could only find work in foreign countries like the United States, as rail road builders and chefs, to the most commercially viable entity in the world.
Nigerians need a common dream and a rallying point to surmount all challenges.
Otherwise we'd be relegated to doom scrolling through others doing well. common dream requires that you destroy tribal and religious identities. It sounds harsh but it is the truth. Without that we are basically swimming with shackles on our feet. Note that I didnt say destroy the religions and tribes themselves but the identities. Basically the way Rwanda destroyed tribal identities post genocide. |

cashmyles: Your acclaimed free lecture is just a long winded way of admitting that in Benin mob violence overrides the constitution. You aren't describing a culture, you're describing a breakdown of civilization where people act like animals because they can't handle a difference of opinion. If your deity is so fragile that a social media post or interviews requires a corrective action from a mob then the institution is far weaker than you're willing to admit. Ire o Thank you. as in i get ashamed when people defend this thinking they are doing Benin justice. You are simply making Benin a laughing stock by validating savagery. You are not wiser than the Oba that quickly washed his hands off such savagery and uncivility |
Politics › Re: Oba Of Benin Palace Incident: Don Pedro Heads To Court Over Abduction, Assault by monex(m): 6:54pm On Jan 21 |
HomoDroid: I suggest the Oba should reach out to The Iyaloja-General / Iyase-General of Benin Kingdom for intervention to save his boys (Eshos). If they go down in this case, others may be reluctant to obey a monarch who cannot protect them from 'justice'
The moral of this story is the reality that there is nothing like Kabiyesi or Uku Okpolopkolo anymore under the Democratic System of Government. The State Government is the Oracle that appoints, while the Security Agencies are the Sango/ Ogun that Kills all dissidents at the instruction of the C-I-C! i dont know why your last paragraph is difficult for many persons to understand. |
Politics › Re: Oba Of Benin Palace Incident: Don Pedro Heads To Court Over Abduction, Assault by monex(m): 6:53pm On Jan 21 |
mastermaestro: It shows you don't understand the deity of Bini monarchy. Listen, if you speak derogatorily about the oba anywhere around Benin, you will not get away with it . That's how it has always been. Even as a governor the moment you disrespect the Benin monarch, the Binis immediately turn against you.
Most Binis naturally defend the sanctity of their oba's stool from dishonour. When I mean defend, it could be by any means. Pedro is from Benin. He knew what he was getting into. He went ahead regardless. Believe me, he will not get anything close to justice. I learnt the IG has ordered the arrest of those guys. Sadly, they will be released without consequences. just so you know, the bolded is the same mindset of those that set Deborah ablaze in sokoto. The difference is that she died. |

Antoeni: I will sincerely advice that this issue be dropped out of Court. The complainant knows with every fibre of his human mind that a real Benin son does not disrespect the throne of the Oba, neither will the Benin people allow anyone to do same as it is regarded as a taboo. The Oba whom the ex gov and his allies have continued to disrespect, didn't drag anyone to court. If he was to do that, I can ascertain that some people would be drowned thereafter. I guess a word is enough for the wise. No need for plenty rhetorics. that is the worst advice ever. No consequences for impunity? Why do you think the Oba distanced himself? The hoodlums who did this should face the music. The evidence was on social media. |

Richtaiwo: Why is Trump suddenly behaving like this?
After confidently assuring the handle mops that he would swoop in, flatten Aso Rock, replace Tinubu with Pitobi, free Nnamdi Kanu from his zoo cage, and crown him Vice President, he has now turned around to supply the same Tinubu with military hardware.
Is he aware that thanksgiving services and torrents of praise have already been offered to Abiama over these grand promises? Or did someone forget to inform him that altars were raised and hymns sung in anticipation?
I was always told that Trump is the very definition of “talk and do.” So what happened? Or does “talk and do” now come with a footnote, terms and conditions apply, especially when handle mops are involved? the context of this thread is security and the war against terrorism. Find one of those tribal threads to do your back and forth with your IPOB adversaries |
