PlanetZero: Tell hamas to release hostages na if they release all hostages without an agreement or commitment from Israel, Israel will simply blow up or flood most of the tunnels in Gaza. it is a tough negotiation I admit. what could work would be similar to Lebanon: Israel commits to immediately end the war - not just a cease fire Hamas releases all hostages and Israeli releases prisoners held Demilitarisation of Hamas - Hamas lays down its arms PA takes over administration and internal policing in Gaza in the interim An international force backed by the UN is responsible for security to forestall new attacks on Israel and stop possible Israeli incursions A plan for recognition of Palestine as a state (contiguous or non-contiguous) and for democratic elections. PA isn't very popular in Gaza. You need a government with credibility there will be enough internal pressure on Netanyahu to agree to the terms Hamas might contest the PA taking over in the interim but will back down if there is a clear plan for elections in the near future |

Wickedlywicked: Just like you stated above, a biased person will always be biased. I’m not supporting either side but I can remember that India made it clear following the retaliatory attacks that THEY DIDN’T AIM TO CONFRONT PAKISTAN. They made it clear that their attacks were aimed at the terrorists residing there. Do you think the Nigerian army would start directly attacking the Cameroonian military should the later attack boko haram terrorists residing in the sambisa forest? If truly it wasn’t state-sponsored, highest they (Pakistan) would have done in response would have been to warn India to respect its territorial integrity next time or to prove to the world that THE SITES INDIA STRUCK DIDN’T BELONG TO THE TERRORISTS THEY (INDIANS) WERE LOOKING FOR. You reacting harshly to an attack targeting terrorists shows you know something we don’t know. Pakistan could have as well LIED that the Indian air strikes did hit some of its military men and that would have been a valid point and excuse to attack India back. doesn't matter. Violating pakistani territorial space is considered aggression. Pakistan actually denied being responsible for the terrorist attacks and asked for an independent investigation |
Foreign Affairs › Re: Pakistan Breaks Ceasefire Within Hours With Drone Attack On Srinagar. by monex(m): 6:33pm On May 11, 2025 |
GreenCovering: There is always an open wound. Essentially a Hindu ruler, Maharaja Hari Singh, gifted a land of over 70% muslim population to Hindu British India, mostly HIndus, in October 26/27, 1947. Meanwhile, when a similar thing happened earlier when a muslim ruler of an 80% hindu population of Junagadh acceded to Pakistan, British India brought in the military and occupied the region. Eventually a plebiscite was held that returned Junagadh to India. The case of Kashmir remained unresolved because India results to military power whenever the people of Kashmir ask for self determination or when backed by Pakistan to do so. this left out the fact that Kashmir initially opted for independence and chose not to be part of either India (due to the muslim majority) or Pakistan (due to the hindu and sikh minority). Unfortunately. Pakistan invaded them shortly after their independence. They asked india for military assistance and India agreed on the condition that they accede to India. |
Foreign Affairs › Re: Pakistan Breaks Ceasefire Within Hours With Drone Attack On Srinagar. by monex(m): 6:27pm On May 11, 2025 |
Originalsly: Does Kashmir belong to India or Pakistan? Does India or Pakistan control Kashmir? ...or is it Kashmir is divided with India in control of one part and Pakistan the other? How can you be explaining and not include these crucial points? A bias person can never set the record straight ... the information he puts out would be to support his view and what is not in support he will suppress. It's like a Tinubu or Obi hater .... he will see and say only negative things... will never be fair or objective. Kashmir is the contested area claimed by both India and Pakistan. Part is controlled by India and the other part by Pakistan ...but both lay claim to the entire area so there has been a stalemate going on for decades with several flare ups. Like North and South Korea border with a heavy military presence.... the same scenario is at the dividing lines in Kashmir. There had always been flare ups but this one was different. A terrorist group from the Pakistan side attacked a tourist site on the Indian side of Kashmir killing dozens. India's head of state condemned the attack and blamed it on Pakistan ... claiming the terrorists were sponsored by Pakistan and vowed to retaliate. Pause. Let's say terrorists from Chad came across the border (we know they do) yesterday and launched an attack in Borno killing dozens. As President ... would you send the NAF to do some bombings in Chad? Continuing. India's head of state responded by launching attacks in Pakistan. Right there is a violation and can be considered an act of war ..an attack on the country. To this ...Pakistan retaliated by launching a counter attack on India and things escalated.
Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.... respond to the message and not about the messenger who you know nothing about. this is correct. |

Empiree: No sir/ma. Kashmir was member am independent State. It was a region of Pakistan sold by the British to Indian Warlord in 1800s. So you can see the rain why Pakistan invaded Kashmir. I'm glad you are aware of Hindutva extremists. I see their activities online all the time It was a princely state. British gave Princely states the option to join India, Pakistan or stay independent. They chose independence but were attached days later by Pakistani militants |
Foreign Affairs › Re: Indian Forces Kill Terrorist Involved In Murder Of Jewish Journalist Daniel Pear by monex(m): 6:09pm On May 09, 2025 |
Empiree: I am not saying Pakistan is innocent. My point is since Kashmir doesn't want to join India, they want either Independence or be part of Pakistan. I think India needs to respect that. India can not force them to be Indians. After all majority of them today are Muslims which I believe wants to make them join majority Pakistan Muslim country rather than Hindu majority India country.
Regardless of what transpired in 1947, the people of Kashmir should be allowed to choose where they want to belong. They clearly don't want India.
British caused this problem just like they did in Palestine, Venezuela and Guyana and many places like them.
Just a matter of time before Venezuela and Guyana start throwing 💣💥💣💣 at each other. They have already started having land dispute because the said land that was partitioned by the British recently determined to be oil rich region just like Kashmir has trade and tourism potentials. It is clear why India doesn't want to give it up I agree most of them want independent state. There is a growing islamophobia among Hindus so i imagine they wouldn't want to be in a state that would increasily discriminate against them. My point is they had independence from the beginning until Pakistan invaded them. They actually asked to be part of India. |
Foreign Affairs › Re: Indian Forces Kill Terrorist Involved In Murder Of Jewish Journalist Daniel Pear by monex(m): 3:45pm On May 09, 2025 |
Empiree: thank you. Remember, technically if you look at Indians, Pakistan and Bangladesh they are look the same. Ofcourse with some differences. It was the British that sold Kashmir to India warlord in 1800s. Forget about Sikh. Sikhism is a religion not tribe. The people could come religion but they can't change their geographic location. Just like Yorùbáland. Yoruba were once majority traditionalists and later became Muslims and Christians majority. This doesn't change their tribe and location.
Again, it is very simple. India should allow kashmir to decide who they want to merge with(India or Pakistan). UN should force India to allow referendum. Simple India agreed to Kashmir's independence originally until Pakistan invaded an independent Kashmir and Kashmir sought help from India. India agreed to help on the condition that they join India. Pakistan has invaded (crossed the agreed Line of Control) the Indian administered Jasmir multiple times and have allegedly supported terrorist attacks in the region. Most of the militant attacks in the region actually kill Kashmiri hindus (pandits) and have driven most of them from the valley. Pakistan are far from innocent my friend. |
Foreign Affairs › Re: Indian Forces Kill Terrorist Involved In Murder Of Jewish Journalist Daniel Pear by monex(m): 7:55am On May 09, 2025 |
Empiree: The problem that is escalating btw Indian and Pakistan was decades old problem that iwas caused by the British. Their problem is similar to Israeli-palestinian crisis.
Many Nigerians on this platform have zero knowledge of what's going on. It is about land in Kashmir which is claimed by both Pakistan amended India before British partitioned India and Pakistan. So India now occupied Kashmir just like Israel occupied Palestine. Majority of the kashmiri are Muslims and they align with Pakistan.
It is a very simple thing. Since India is the occupying power it should simply allow referendum for kashmiris but it refused and forcefully rule over them almost 80 years now. So naturally kashmiri would resist Indians. So there have been Hindutva extremists that have been oppressing Kashmir Muslims for years and it doesn't make headlines but you can see many videos on social media. You can visit 5pillars on Facebook.
So some days ago unknown criminals launched attack on innocent people. I heard that they were tourists but I'm not sure. So India responded by launching military attack on Pakistan without confirming who are behind the attack. In America, many are criticizing Modi seriously for his action. He's behaving exactly like Neyanyahu. So the attack on tourists was very suspicious. It looked like false flag attack. Bolded is not totally correct. Kashmir is split between India, Pakistan and China. India considers the part administered by Pakistan to be Pakistan Occupied Kashmir (POK). Pakistan considers the part administered by India to be Indian Occupied Kasmir (IOK), India considers the part occupied by China to be Chinese Occupied Kashmir (COK). Pakistan and India agree on a line of control which divides the IOK from the POK. Please note that Kashmir was a Sikh kingdom (although with a Muslim majority populace) before the western Kahmir rebelled against the maharaja as they wanted to join Pakistan rather than being an independent kingdom as earlier agreed. Today Kashmir territories have some level of autonomy in both countries. |
