I continually say to myself that since I was born in Nigeria, everything continually goes up(or in one direction) and never comes back down(or never the other) except for one thing (i.e stocks)

Since you've been on NGX, so you don't know there are Market Makers, whose duty is to ensure liquidity among other things?

You don't know each stock has its own MM and that they're more active than another?

Some MM ensures that a stock price does not go down beyond certain prices...... if it does, they move it back up by pumping cash.....

Let me leave you with the assignment to read more about Market Makers....

Pls note that sometimes when a stock has been red all day, some members here wait until the market is about to close and then pump their cash in to change the price from red to green and then they say the market changed directions.
