Foundwealth001: kind of giving me headache. Find a good financial school, where you can learn about investments, understanding financial reports etc It’s not likely that one will be a veteran investor afterwards but that’s not the goal. Without adequate financial knowledge, how does one distinguish between good and bad advice The answer is experience but in the world of finance that’s too costly a price If you’re gonna hand it over to your kids, you’ve gotta discuss and test their knowledge as well or will you pay your financial advisor for that too and follow his recommendation No you won’t |

Two peeps came here and analyzed a stock, giving factual information. You didn’t dispute their analysis, you didn’t offer data or analysis of your own. Instead you proceeded with yabbis and your Perl of wisdom is “sometimes...” and “I will not be surprised...” Mr Loco this is unbecoming of you sir |

yok: This one of the industries that attracts highest tax rate. there are others , that have lower rates and some that are tax free In some cases the duration of hold makes the tax high. I know for a resident, holding for over a year can reduce your tax by over 8%-10% Also there are other things you might be able to do to reduce the tax as well.

Can you share the USA stock forum link yok: FB is still a quoted stock and they have some investments in metaverse items, but these are still part of the company.
If you are interested in metaverse related stocks there are a couple of them aside FB: MTTR, RBLX etc.
For now some good metaverse tokens/projects in the top categories are : SANDBOX, MANA,AXS, AVAX etc. You can further follow on this in the US stock forum. Equally you can message me for an introductory material if interested. |

emmanuelewumi: Dividend yield: about few months ago I said it was a matter of time before either Zenith Bank would appreciate to the level of GTB or GTB would come down to the level of Zenith. That was at a time when the dividend yield of Zenith was over 13% while that of GTB was 10% after giving room for withholding taxes. Same way in less than 4 years Lafarge and BUA cement will sell at the same price. |

You should’nt have bothered with this. Ofcourse there are millionaires in dollars here. My objective was to tackle that my new friend. I wasn’t using facts or discussing stocks just pulling his legs. You must have seen that from the jovial way the conversation went This is a stocks forum. That was just an ice breaker discussion. How do they say comic relief. It was a fun moment lets not drag it out Ades1: Just so you know, there is a Naira billionaire here, I know am personally! Heavy weights full this place, no let silence deceive you bros. Everyone here is a millionaire in naira for sure but millionaires in dollars Mehn am not sure That’s at least over 500 mil naira cash asset/investments (not asset that one cannot evaluate) If you have that kind of money. I imagine myself, if I have doubled my investment . Will I have the time to visit forums that I don’t like and be taunting them? Won’t I be focused on the economy and market that’s doubling my profit and trying to find ways to maximize and perhaps triple the profit My brother leave story for tortoise Person that is doubling his money has no time for taunting. posty56: you know I am saying the truth, but u guys choose to speak with emotions like the rest here, you expect me to patronising rubbish NSE that can hardly double my money, meanwhile I have doubled my money in the US stock market, still being greedy by wanting more gains , but emotions is controlling you people , I don't know if it's pride or stupidity I can't tell, you hate on crypto currency, you hate on US stock market, why? because we refused to follow you guys and invest in the NSE. NSE where your money will stay and devalue, anyways I won't quote you again but u will keep taunting you guys anytime naira losses value. |
