When you see the price of ETI @ N12+, you'll know the likes of ACCESS and especially UBA are currently given out a BONANZA!
...for a discerning investor, the price they can pay now is quite disproportionate to the VALUE they can get.
Even @ a 40-55% premium to CMP, you can still sleep very well having peace of mind!
@RabbiDoracle, I guess the others were right this time around. No judgement. I too didn’t jump in huh undecided

Yes a bank manager in Nigeria who is not interested in bettering himself socially but a bank manager in the states or someone with a progressive mentally will smile and say politely “sorry sir, we can’t do that, will there be anything else?”
“Thank you for coming today”

They have said the same thing but one is more … huh undecided

When people are derogatory and abusive it shows you who they are. Especially when they know better. What have you done in this life, there is someone better and smarter than you. If you are a millionaire, there are billionaires, if you are a billionaire, there is elon musk, even if you are Elon, there is the descendants of Rockefeller with old money established through generations and never worked a day in their life.
It takes courage to show vulnerability.
Should I have to say all this, especially on a Sunday to fathers. Or is this how you raise your kids huh undecided

Why is nobody talking about what is happening at zenith bank in Nigeria today where people can’t access their funds and riots are breaking out in the banks?

This is similar to what happened to GTB before the stocks dropped last year or so
I mentioned it then and people said it was impossible to affect the stocks but it eventually went down

Stanbic IBTC is the biggest player in that sector, you can be sure of getting good deal from them. Doing it with a big player will also caalyse the liquidity of your investment when you need to cash out
Always open for a good deal
That would be another registration again
Am already registered with 3 stock broking firms and this would be one more
I will check them out and see how they roll
If the registration process is not to cumbersome for remote people and they are cool. I will go ahead with it
InvestmentRe: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by moneymanager: 7:49pm On Feb 02, 2023
emmanuelewumi:
If you bank with Stanbic IBTC Bank you can buy with N1 million in the primary market or 200k in the secondary market.

After buying through the bank, you can then move the investment to your CSCS account through your Stockbroker
That’s another good idea
Okay. Am using Meristem
I think I will like to wait and get a larger value into it
That way the returns are big for the duration

emmanuelewumi:
These are not saving bonds, these pay coupon twice in a year.

I don't have the figures of the current yield on these bonds, but it should be between 15% to 15.4%.

So you should expect coupons of between 750k to 770k twice in a year for the next 14 years on your investment and then get back your N10 million in 2037.

You can also trade your investment in the secondary market or use it as a collateral to get a loan of about N7.5 million to N8 million in order to harness emerging economic and business opportunities

I hope I answered your questions
Yes you did Sir
Thanks for the response
I was also told that the smallest the investment house I spoke to takes is 20 million.
So I have a bit more savings to do

Afterwards I will do this, both things you mentioned
Really appreciate the response

I have a follow up question
How can I get into the secondary market
Is it just taking the documents to my bank as collateral or is there another way?

If what you're trying to know is stocks with high dividend yield, you may check this ......
Remember it's been updated, and constant regular review is necessary.

https://www.tradingview.com/markets/stocks-nigeria/market-movers-high-dividend/

Someone actually posted it here sometimes ago and I've searched for it but can't see it.....
Anyone with current dividend yields of Coys should pls share.
Am trying to replicate what I did in GTCO but with another non banking company for diversification
Just sink some funds for like 5 years in a high dividend paying company.
Either that or something like the next sukku bond

Yea. I also tried to find what was posted but couldn’t also. It’s time we moved this forum to an app where history can be searched using keywords

A friend recommended Meristem corporate report
They have from 2020 - 2022
Ucap, Afriprud seems like the most consistent so far but I will see if I can get one with atleast 8-9 years high returns consistency huh undecided

Another one I noticed is also the posting of long posts (sometimes multiple times) without much essential information to quickly take the forum to a new page as well. If you check the old pages you can verify what am saying on both occasions. It’s actually obvious to confirm huh undecided

InvestmentRe: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by moneymanager: 6:36pm On Mar 09, 2022
I’ve noticed something in this group
When a discussion goes on and old guyz in the group aren’t too happy with it and no regular “senior” member contributes

We immediately say a scam post
And many peeps come and insult the person but they frame their English in a way to address the person who made the conversation they don’t like

It never happens when the regular guyz and old timers are chatting

I believe these scammers are fake and it’s he regular guyz that create the scammers inorder to insult the guyz in the group who’s conversation they don’t like

Hope am wrong and it’s not a mind game
Will wait for the next time it happens again to check huh undecided
