Thanks to all The Guru's, Monlo, Chinedu ,all that contributed for the success of my Thor1west, an getting 68/69%.@ Chinedu I feel you the same thing over here with me concerning Strong decoders & their usual marketing game plan, why are they pushing 4955 series to customers by releasing it's software first instead of 4950 series that's more advanced in capacity.at the end of the day it's all about EPL Matches & Chinese conglomerates have also entered the market too so for me instead of going for another decoder again that will become obsolete within few months it goes scrambled again My LG Smart tv 42inches with 150mb on my Wi-Fi can give me EPL Matches of my Choice. AFN Package on Thor1west is ok so if they release 4950H software then good but i doubt it judging by their antecedents. My fingers crossed while they prove me wrong though. Viva Fta.Meanwhile the software developers are inbeded with Strong Technologies (Sameer,Whizkid & co)

Congrats man,me too!I have since moved on to the Tiger series of Decoder.One good thing about them is their dedicated site for regular softwares update.Do you know now that they just released the latest,capable of doing wonder to our " Run away brother" now returned from exile "Senior Prefect" of Class 2 garrison 4.I just downloaded it,to upgrade mine and test ,since there are already proof,it is working with my model.

I have since updated the house.It was an effort in futility,after 3hours of hunting,could not bring down either Hotbird @13E or Hispasat 30W.These birds seem to favour people in Southwestern part of the country with my size of dish.Enjoy

All attempts to nail Hotbird 13E and Hispasat 30W proved abortive with my 2.4m pan dish and original star gold Fuji lnb.Am not happy this evening,3hrs of tracking could not bring either of the bird down,hmmmmmmmm

Kano,#8000 for twin output pin.Unlike other cheap lnb in the market,I believe the price will be worth it after tracking,as it has even be proven to bring down Fringe reception etc.Enjoy

Bro,when u are tracking a satellite that is fringe in nature like 9e a lot of factor come to play.1.positioning of ur dish 2.conditions of ur dish 3.the focal length accuracy 3.pole plumming.etc.9e is very trickish u must take into consideration the above factors and follow the step I sent earlier u will surely get it.The other time somebody said it is not easy or hard to get 9e on 1.8m but me I use to get it easily both on prime focus and off set dishes. My major worries now is how I can bring down hotbird 13e target point ircama3 on my 2.4m .location Abuja-Nigeria.

Hmmm,I never knew this "Stargold Fuji LNB" is this expensive.Anyway I have acquired one,on my journey to Hotbird 13e,bustop is IRCAM 3,with my 2.4m pan dish.Nothing will be too expensive to bring down this bird.The journey will start this evening,and the house will be fed adequately.

It requires plate but few selected Cband LNBF can work dual purpose without plate, they are built that way, regular LNBF requires plate for 0.8w.

I thought it is a circular Cband that requires dielectric plate.

Mine was tracked with dielectric inside.
Other details of tracking u gave is on point

I tracked mine without it and it is loud and clear.If only you could view my attached pictures before now on this thread.

Brother Happy Sunday to you & all Guru's I have lowered my 1.8M dish from 34.5 west were Sp24/ AFN is to Thor1west for full AFN Package but no success yet of hitting Green , Should I change the dielectric plate position inside the Lnb or should I leave it as it's when it was on 34.5w position because I have not touched it yet but I have tweaked the Inb still no green on Thor1west o.8 cband. Pls house what are my doing wrong here or should i face my dish to the East angle instead of the West Angle am using for the tracking since Noon? I have tracked with both h/v polarity 4175 v/h28000 still no green . pls help.Thanks

You don't need a dielectric inside,just remove it.For easy tracking,track Sirius 4.8E with 12015V/H29999,thereafter remove your ku-band lnb and replace with the c-band lnb and track Thor 1W with 4175V/H28000.You will certainly hit green.For my pictures,flip this thread like 3 to 5pages back to see also.Enjoy

I tried doing this,since both satellites almost face the same position,well it was an effort in futility.Why not give it a try,your case might be different.Although I finally attached Sirius 4.8E to the Eutelsat 10E.Enjoy

I tried tracking this Gazi tv at my base in Kano state,all to no avail,even with the strongest tp,using my 2.4m dish for so many hours,with patience,still no show.I just dey vex as I won't be able to watch EPL tomorrow.I shall track Thaicom 78e tomorrow so as to enable me watch championships etc on Mcot family etc.
