gadgetplanetng: No changes boss,as the tail of the dog is still where it is. LIFEPO4 is surely the best way to go and I wish knew earlier.In my first 2years into this journey,my SMF LA Ba3s failed me. Since they were under warranty,i quickly returned them and were replaced by SIMBA group. Another observation is that I woke up one morning to meet one of the LIFEPO4 ba3 dead,no thanks to consistent absence of sun energy for about 4days and was still using it like that hence the failure. All thanks to @Juo whom I bought them from,who directed me on how to re-awake the BMS on the dead LIFEPO4 ba3.Ever since then,it has been firing on all cylinders...... Imagine it was My earlier SMA LA Ba3s,your guess would be as good as mine..... So again,i say taste and see....... 2 Likes |

My Solar community I greet you all from my Lunar abode. Help me to celebrate my 6years journey into use of solar energy. It started in the year 2016 with 2x150AH 12V SMF LA Ba3s which were decommissioned in the year 2020 following decline in storage capacity. Currently running on 2x100AH 12V LIFEPO4 Ba3s courtesy @Juo,which started 2years ago and today celebrating 2years of use.I must say Lunar energy is sweet as I run all equipment completely offgrid......... Posterity will not forgive me,if I fail to commend all who had contributed in humongous amounts the knowledge acquired via this space. All I have learnt is from here,even though it had started working on electronics and electricity from a tender age. I do every connections my self and I give kudos to all here both online and offline for the wealth of knowledge........ All I can say is taste and see......... 7 Likes |

bigrovar: On customers' support I can attest to it.Just recently I woke up to see my 24volt 100AH LiFePO4 drained ,one of them to be precise. I put a call across to him since I had bought them earlier from him. Lol and behold he directed me on how to wake up the BMS of the flat battery and viola it was back to life,firing all cylinders as if new. No thanks to the hazy and dusty weather being experienced here in my Santa. If it were to be my previous SMF LA Ba3s......... your guess would be as good as mine..... @Juo I appreciate your customer support even though I did not seek your approval before putting this up here,abeg nor vex. |

Oshomo12: LiFePO4 is the way going forward. Mine is over a year now and still waxing stronger. I no longer bother about daily floating just like when I was on SMF LA Ba3.It hardly discharges even with heavy usage,how I wish I knew earlier........... 3 Likes |

eleojo23: My brother,you would not regret it if you did.Currently using one for almost a year now rated 4000w @ peak.I use it for my deep freezer,electronics,lights etc.It is a monster ,weighs less than 10kg and far better than the two previous inverters from India that I used whose idle consumption is killing......
