Romance / Re: Nigerian Babes And Flowers by MoOdYLaDy(f): 9:06pm On Nov 11, 2007
Romance doesn't mean buying gift to for your ladies, but you can start show it in another different kind of way by appreciating her, take a walk with her, talk about life, your feelings, go to jazz club, poetry reading, stay indoor during weekend by watching his/her choice or movie(once a week should do) e.t.c.
You can go to a public feild that has a grass or sit on the lawn outside your house, by laying a blanket on the grass, play games (board, card e.ct) , listen to music, talk and talk, you don't need money to so all theses

OyinboNo1:

exactly nana. these chicks that would prefer top-up credit?! sorry, if you need to beg for credit you are well below the level for dating a normal guy. flowers are (relatively) expensive, they don't last long - it's a purely romantic gesture, no materialism involved. if you can't see beyond perfume / being dashed money, what kind of mate are you likely to attract??
I didn't know we got chicken on this thread, rubbish

Can you clearly show us, were someone stated they prefer material things to flowers

Why are you making unnecessary over this flower thing undecided, do you guys have any idea what a "forum" is, because i don't think you do.

People are stating their opinions but you guys are getting worked up just because majority of females does not like flowers

Or is it by force, because I don't understand the fuss about this whole flower thing.

Flower ko Flower ni, if am so desperate about flower why don't i go to the nearest tree around my house to get one

@Moodylady,

Because if you are local, you wouldn't know that buying a flower is just the thought behind it.

I can see you don't knowing the meaning of buying a flower to love ones. Therefore, you are local, simple.

I can see some girls here are really local.  I feel buying a flower to a girl  is just simply romantic and it show you really

  love them or feel for them. A guy that can afford to buy you a flower,  can also afford to buy you a gift too.

prince_onx:

I had some flowers delivered to this girl my cousin introduced me to here in the States on her birthday! The funniest thing is that she's this American-wannabe type of naija girl so I thought flowers will mean something to her but was wrong. The next day I got off the plane and with her still at work had her room mate pick me up. We got to the house and guess where the flowers are? the trash can in the batroom! I felt very bad cux it was a wasted effort and money, I wasted my time calling different flower shop to schedule Sunday delivery and yet it all went in the trash! so guys if you ask me I'll say most of our naija sisters don't value it and please and please don't even bother to buy flowers if you don't know anything about flowers! sending or giving the wrong flowers or colour is like sending a Congratulations card to someone that lost a loved one!
Lmfao cheesy cheesy cheesy.

Btw, how much did it cost for both the delivery and flower
