Wenger has taken Arshavin out for Walcott but we'll score soon. 11 mins to go.

Van Persie and Fabregas are coming on now. . . . but I like the fact that we're pressing arsenal now. As long as our defence and mid-field can hold their own, we will still score more goals.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) / Re: Manchester United Vs Arsenal On 13th December: 1 - 0 by Moonstone(f): 10:19pm On Dec 13, 2010
That was  so close. . . . too close for my liking.

^^^^^yet man utd scored. no trophies for passes!

dipo2much:

Match isnt over yet . We are coming back stronger.
And yes, Nasri is royal, Nani na bom-boy
coming back implies that you've been there first. Rooney must use this game as his restoration debut

RuuDie:

I just hate it when we go 4-5-1. . . . .  for chrissakes, we don't have CR7 or CT32 --- might as well stick 2 strikers in there and ride your luck.
Just maybe, things will change this half.

Arsenal brings out some of the most beautiful goals from J.S. Park. I'm proud of our defence so far. VDS has had to save some minimal mistakes but nothing too elaborate while Rafael is really making his way around the field.

holydante:

Webb is starting to show his leopard red colored skin
Dude, you have no idea what you're saying. Webb has been too good to Arsenal. Left to me, at least 3 yellows would have been handed out on Nani's behalf alone.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) / Re: Manchester United Vs Arsenal On 13th December: 1 - 0 by Moonstone(f): 9:53pm On Dec 13, 2010

@ Moonstone.

That comment about an arsenal jersey is very insulting. I think you should apologise.
I should apologize? Seriously? Have you been to our thread? You guys have said way much worse things than we have.
Well, sorry i hurt your fragile ego. . . apology accepted? cheesy

Post one more . . . . Just one more I ask of you ehn tongue grin grin
Btw, you are doing a disservice to players who receive bottled water for good sportmanship by placing em' side by side with Emirates Cup Winners. Take Ya time ooo.
Abeg, no vex. . . sorry cheesy cheesy cheesy cheesy. Emirates cup is in a class of its own! As we all know, anything is better than an arsenal jersey.

European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) / Re: Arsenal Fan Thread: For Gunners Only (R.I.P Bawomolo). by Moonstone(f): 7:29pm On Dec 13, 2010
^^^^^ this is why i still like you sometimes. You have the ability to be sensible while being biased. . . I'm used to it.

dayokanu:

Someone here is celebrating Emirates or carling cup? Some people are shameless sha.

I would prefer to be given 2 spoons of Allenbury Glucose D (Like they do at Inter-House Sport) than to be awarded that clay trophy called Emirate or Worth-Nothing cup

Some people no get shame.

The Good books say : Woe unto the shameless for they shall continually celebrate Emirates and carling Cup

Laughing my head off!

@ Elrazur, I am waiting to see your excuses after the match.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) / Re: Arsenal Fan Thread: For Gunners Only (R.I.P Bawomolo). by Moonstone(f): 7:17pm On Dec 13, 2010
ElRazur:

For crying out loud, you accused us of remaining trophyless.  I merely pointed out trophy has been won in the past 5 years.
If your argument on the other hand was "Arsenal are yet to win a prestigious trophy over the past five years" then you may have a point. grin
For the record, AC milan, Celtic, and Lyon are all bigger teams than the Blackpool and Wigan you are mentioning. Smh.
There are some trophies that count. As far as we are concerned, Emirates cup is not a Trophy. It is a recognition. That is like winning a bottle of water for good sportsmanship. cheesy

Are you seriously talking about AC Milan? The ones that were so disturbed last year? In my opinion, Blackpool and Wigan could have easily caused a lot of upset for you guys in Emirates cup. They've done it in EPL. . . I told you, Emirates is a friendly with a sportsmanship recognition. Even Arsenal does not consider that a cup. . . if not Wenger would have been contented. The real test is facing EPL and y'all have lost. The closest possible thing to that is Carling cup.  So congratulations. .  grin
chic2pimp:

That was Uncalled for. Stop tormenting Gaynners on their own thread grin grin grin. Chei see as cabinet take empty sha shocked shocked grin
Then I'll leave the other pictures till after Man U beats them.  cheesy

ElRazur:

Arsenal cannot win, or can we? We were accused of not winning any cup. Heck, we were accused of being trophyless for 5 years (Even though, technically we have won the Emirates cup in between. Yes, it is a TROPHY, not a mug or kettle)

Now that we are looking to be in a position to win another trophy, all of a sudden all the critics now have something new to say. SMH.
Emirates cup is not a cup for cryin' out loud. It's like a friendly with a trophy. You're playing against people of how many nations? If clubs like Blackpool and Wigan participated in Emirates cup, I'm sure that cup would have left you as well.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) / Re: Arsenal Fan Thread: For Gunners Only (R.I.P Bawomolo). by Moonstone(f): 6:52pm On Dec 13, 2010

You all see that GAYYners are mor0ns? If someone hears them shouting you would never believe that they are 5 seasons trophyless and 9 games losing streak vs Chelsea and man Utd.

When a club has no shame thats what you get from the fans. A bunch of mor0ns
Thank you! That's what I have been saying. . . no shame whatsoever - just a bunch of excuses.

Goals and assists are not the same thing, Nasri is averaging three goals in every two games. cheesy cheesy
Last midfielder that did that is Ronaldo.
Nasri has scored 8 goals this season in 16 games. I think that's more like one goal in every two games. . . and he's not about to score today.

The English FA is full of stunpid binshes!!!
Life is unfair shey? grin You've started blaming the ref 3+ hours before the game. . . .I am so going to savour and enjoy this win. grin

dipo2much:

A clean sheet may be hard, considerin that they still have rooney, nani and above all Webb. But I strongly believe we The Arsenal are beating Manchester United tonite.
Forget that one. I don't remember you having a clean sheet at any of our games recently. . . if you have a clean sheet that means we are drawing at zero.

5 of those against probably the worst team ever to play at OT since the EPL started
HNIC, ah ahn! Just because we beat them that way does not mean they are the worst. They have their good days too now! I respect every team in EPL, they pull a lot of surprises on the bigger teams.

@ Moonstone.
Take away 8 goals from 2 matches. Berbatov is left with 3 goals in 13 matches. Isnt that shameful for a £30M pound buy? what do you call a striker that scores 5 goals in one match, and goes a month or two without scoring? I'll tell you - CRAP
He is the highest goal scorer in EPL currently with Tevez behind him. It's not the consistency that matters for Berbatov at this moment, it's sad but he usually tries to pull out the big guns against bigger clubs.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) / Re: Manchester United Vs Arsenal On 13th December: 1 - 0 by Moonstone(f): 9:42am On Dec 13, 2010
Its funny how SOME Arsenal fans think they can actualy win Man U, I am not a Man U Fan, we all know as usual Arsenal will do the playing, while Man U will do the scoring, 11 Men against 11 Boys. In as much as I will like Arsenal to win, they dont have the quality to do that.

I see Arsenal fans like a sturbon child, even if you beat that child, he will still stand and tell you "nothing do me" lol He knows inside him that he cant fight you, but Will like to show himself, lol

This is the best thing I've seen all day. . . . I like it a lot because it's so true and yet so painful. God bless you, Megastreet. . . grin

Times are changin. Some club went 50 years of agony b4 the won silverware. Now the club in questions is draggin with bolton on the epl table. Manu used to be stronger than arsenal, but things have changed. Abi u wan compare:
Berbatov to chamackazie
Nani with Prince Nas
Anderson with Grammy winnin SONG
Even VDS is chillin in Fabianski's shadows.

Given that rooney and Rvp are like twins now, We still have arshavin, walcott.
If sqills and Kos get it right, nothing for una
Ah ahn! Are you basing this new 'arsenal' on the past 16 games you've played this season? E gbami! Is this not the same Arsenal that West Brom turned to scoring target this season? Berbatov has scored 11 goals, while Chamakh has scored 7 o!
Did you watch Anderson last week? The guy has his moments.
How dare you compare a living, playing legend like VDS to that inconsistent rat they call Fabianski? Ah Ahn! Take it easy, bro! You could have compared him to Amos at least.
As for Nasri, he knows he'll meet his match today. . .

It would be our 10th straight loss to both Man U and Chelsea WHEN we lose tonight! Can we truly still call em our rivals if that happens? Its not a rivalry when another team consistently whoops your a$$!

Come on you Gunners! Show Hustle! Show Loyalty and Show Respect for that cannon. Its the Arsenal binshes!
AMEN!

See jonzing of the highest order grin grin grin grin Respect for no trophies ke?! Una no get shame. You know you can always cry on my shoulder, so no worries. I'll be the strong one today grin
