Munya is a complete fool. I don't know how people like his stupid arrogant self. . . that mini-rabbit wants to destroy my Uti. Ode oshi!

Anyway, Sheila to come back and anyone but Tati back in the BB house. I'm still voting Sheila.

I am minding my business here, not talking to anybody but I'm wondering why some people with logs in their eyes are coming here to criticize those of us with specters in our eyes. Instead of them to go and talk to that pinocchio-like manager of theirs so that they can improve their own defense, they will come and be analyzing our O'Shea. lipsrsealed lipsrsealed lipsrsealed lipsrsealed

debosky:

Rooney better go and beg Colleen. . . .I heard she has tied his mojo to a voodoo doll and tossed it into the North Sea.

Till he offers sacrifices to Odin, he will keep injuring his ankle and not score.  sad grin grin

Debosky, you sound as if you know a lot about this. . . almost too much. Is there anything you would like to tell the house? Hmmmmm? undecided tongue

chamotex:

O'shea is not the best defender in the world but its amusing how his name quickly pops off everytime something goes wrong.
All of a sudden- the team or the 'defence' isn't good enough.
This was basically the same set of players that won 3 epl titles in a row.

That's an understatement, pal. It should read O'Shea is not the worst defender in the world. Now that sounds much closer to the truth.
All I ask is one game without O'Shea and let's see what our bench can do. Who knows, the grass may definitely be greener on the other side

That aside, I have a little gift for my darling gaynners. I'm so excited. . . grin grin grin grin grin grin

Today was a good day. At least we did not lose like some people.

This is what I kept saying. . . we're conceding too many goals for my liking.
We have a great keeper but between O'Shea and Evans, I think they compete to concede goals. I just don't get it. That defence is too erroneous and way too porous. . . it's depressing.

Sneijder would be a beautiful addition. He has a great way of playing and I hope SAF can see this and take it into consideration.

Contrary to your history, we are all hoping (I'm speaking for the victims of DK's disses) that Bayern does not bounce back. I have never heard a minority club fan cause so much trouble in one forum. It's quite hilarious.

European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) / Re: Arsenal Fan Thread: For Gunners Only by Moonstone(f): 6:10pm On Sep 25, 2010
That was quite devastating. I wasn't even expecting West Brom to score a goal (maybe with my Odemwingie there, I had a lot of hope). Wenger needs to re-evaluate that team and he needs to find a way to get around simple errors like that of Almunia. i have to say though, that Nasri is really doing well this season

But it's pretty bad when their first away win is against such a big club. Gives them hope. At Emirates again? Dang!

@ Chamotex, shocked shocked shocked shocked shocked shocked that has got to be the most deserved goal ever. . . . I think they should have given them 3 goals for the price of just that one. Women need to start celebrating their goals more.

@Dk - You're so full of hatred for Man Utd but my crystal ball tells me you'll be a red devil by the end of this half-decade, so I'm not too worried cheesy cheesy cheesy

mbulela:

off topic ,
i just saw this quote somewhere.i wonder your take on this,guys;

This week the findings of a research study into homophobia in football were released by Staffordshire University. The researchers had been prompted by Max Clifford's assertion that he advised two well-known Premier League players to conceal their homosexuality because "football remains in the dark ages – steeped in homophobia"
Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaat?! shocked There are homosexuals in PL footie? Really? Now this has gotten me riled up. Thanks to you, Mbulela, I'm about to go undercover to find out who these two might be.
That aside, Clifford is right to have done so. Women are more forgiving when it comes to homophobia. Men on the other hand, are seriously scared to the bone of anything that might suggest the slightest hint of homosexuality.

Take for instance the guys on this thread. . . if any of them can stand a homosexual, I dare them to speak up.

bxg:

I just wish fergie gives dem chances dis season just look at wilsheare at arsenal imagine if rafael and fabio were arsenal players dey will be starters by nw bcause wenger would be playin dem regurlary
NO WAY! Wenger has had a lot of experiences with disappointments when it comes to playing those younger boys. If you look at Man Utd's structure, we're dependent on using part-experience and part-novelty most times. How many players in Arsenal have been in that club for more than 7 years? We have a standing structure with ppl such as Neville, Ferdinand, Brown, Giggs & Scholes, and even if it might not always benefit us but for some crazy reason, it's worked so far.
Religion / Re: Are Athiest The Most Intelligent People? ? by Moonstone(f): 6:53am On Sep 24, 2010
I AM SO NOT GOING TO BE BIASED cheesy cheesy cheesy cheesy cheesy cheesy

The reason atheists may seem so brilliant is because they are objective about every religion they come in contact with. The rest of us are blind to the faults of our religion because of the faith we have in whatever religion we're in.

Yes they are intelligent but it's quite untrue to call them the Most Intelligent.

Infact  i felt it will right if mods introduce a psychometric test as a pre-requisite in this section with a minimum cut off IQ and the results to be displayed automatically close to all user's ID.  what do you think?
I think this is a bit harsh. Even people with low IQs can sometimes make a good argument.

If Wes remains fit for another three weeks, JOS will be out of the team.
I doubt it. O'Shea has never been that outstanding and somehow he has played a LOT of games. SAF will find a way to put O'Shea in the starting line up.

@tkb, LMAO!
Besides I don't see SAF selling O'Shea so easily. . . he has this unnatural attachment to him.

I was reading earlier today that SAF is scouting and putting in a bid  for a new keeper, David De Gea. . . I hope we get him o! The dude is only 19 and keeps very well so far. . .

Always looking confused. Only Brown can match his mumuness on d field
Lol. Abeg, make e sit down somewhere and let us see our youngsters blossom
Ah ahn! Oga Fergie seems to disagree o!
Speaking of which, we have this problem. We overuse a player until he is bought and since, rather unfortunately, I don't see any clubs making a move on O'Shea, we're in big trouble.

The youngsters still have years & years to play. . . . . but first they understudy; sometimes u have to go thru apprenticeship before u become a master. O'sheasy might not be able to learn or improve any further than this but the young rafael and whoever else still have loads to learn & the guys out there on the field. Beleieve me u, no matter how good those lads appear to be, they still got loads to learn!
I sincerely hope you're not asking Rafael to understudy O'Shea shocked shocked shocked shocked shocked shocked We only have one O'Shea - 2 will be a recipe for disaster.

What O'Shea lacks in skills, he makes up for in passion - shouldn't that stand for something? smiley
The moment he scores an own goal - I'll ask for his head and legs. . . but till then the passion keeps sizzling.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) / Re: Manchester United Fan Thread: Red Devils' Zone! by Moonstone(f): 9:13am On Sep 23, 2010
RuuDie:

I think if he mixes his game up a bit, he'd be muche better for it. . . . . cuz usually all he thinks about is taking the ball to the by-line & crossing; so he's always hugging the touchline. Sometimes he should try to cut in, switch flanks, take a shot at goal instead of cross - it'd make him a whole lot less predictable!
He has taken some shots at goal but he's not confident enough to take shots all the time. The only thing that counters his predictability is the position of the strikers. Needless to say, Valencia has been quite instrumental in a few games to Man Utd. I like the fact that we're covering up for his absence quite nicely.
RuuDie:

@ moonstone/eastbay/tkb/a-40/chamotex/mbulela

4 all the imperfections and "average-ness" of the likes of O'sheasy, Evans & whoever on the UTD squad you can think off, these players sorta srike a balance in the squad. . . . . these are guys who will always be there in times of need & yet still not bring up any form of discontent in camp.
Yeah - we are not complaining too much as long as they don't bring up any form of discontent in our games against others. They're humans.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) / Re: Manchester United Fan Thread: Red Devils' Zone! by Moonstone(f): 8:59am On Sep 23, 2010
RuuDie:

Actually, he crosses best when Berbatov tees the ball up for him. . . . . . he doesn't have to run or do anything extra then; just dink the ball into the 18yard box!
That's my problem with him. Last season, he had some good crosses to Rooney as well but he's not consistent all the time. What I like him for mostly, is that when he gets the ball - he just runs with it. . . no matter what. His speed is admirable and for me it upsets the dynamics for the opposing team SOME times.
With Man Utd, you just take what you get esp. considering how much we've spent
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) / Re: Manchester United Fan Thread: Red Devils' Zone! by Moonstone(f): 8:37am On Sep 23, 2010
Eastbay:

moonstone,
Chamakh looks like an underfed giraffe with his long neck.wonder why you are getting weak in the knees for him?
As per Valencia, his one-leggedness is actually making me not miss him.His dependency on his right leg really limits him. It's up to Nani,Obertan to shine.
Gosh, Eastbay - you can be quite mean cheesy cheesy cheesy cheesy cheesy cheesy. . . but that's hilarious and I agree with it. I don't think he's cute at ALL - I just like the way he plays even if I HATE the club he plays for.

Even if Valencia is dependent on his right leg, you have to agree that he's fast and can cross balls well when he feels like it (I use that phrase because he has disappointed with his crosses sometimes). When he's being totally selfless, he gives the defence of the other team, no matter how good, a little heartattack.

I don't feel you on that guy o.
i can't see anything spectacular there.
The interesting thing is that i hear Nigerians have Nigerianized his name - Chiamaka

Lol - Trust my people to spoil his name already.
What I like is the way he brings energy into the game. He gets gaynners all excited. Before Berbatov started performing well, we were losing some of our enthusiasm (even if it was still there).

I miss Valencia. . . I can't believe they took him out for the season. We're not Arsenal and this should so not be happening to us so soon.
