Thanks so much n I salute you for this. I'm not an engineer at all. Wanted to study engineering but it's a long story. However, like I said I kind of remember my physics as I used to enjoy it.

According to digikey it is actually 70ohms so just a lil off

You can see it here

Evening all,

Just wanted to show you another cake I made.

If you have been following me or if you know me, you would know my cake style is carved and interesting shaped cakes hence, I haven't disappointed you as I've made yet another cake. This time for an electrical engineer. It's a resistor cake and I was really chuffed making this cake cos it took me back to the time when my last name was physics ... good old days when secondary school was fun.

Anyways here is to all those who are electrical engineers or those who know how to read a resistor, kindly let me know what it reads.

Hope you like what you see.

Hiya!

Been a while since my last cake (burger cake). Since then, I have made another burger cake and more recently, I was asked to make a cake for a sewing addict, for which I decided nothing but a sewing machine cake will do.

Here's a pick of the cake. You can find details on how to make it on readybaked.weebly.com.

*forgot to add photo.

Enjoy the rest of your day (depending on when you view this)

Bless you

Baking for a good cause:

Why not organise a bake sale to raise funds and give back to those in need in your local community.

Here is my own 'Act of Random Kindness' which I will be gifting to Jessica who turns two come Friday.

I challenge you to bake for a good cause. When you do, please upload a photo and let us know whose day you have made.

Everyone can make a difference but how you make it is your choice.

"It's the action, not the fruit of the action, that's important. You have to do the right thing. It may not be in your power, may not be in your time, that there'll be any fruit. But that doesn't mean you stop doing the right thing. You may never know what results come from your actions. But if you do nothing, there will be no result." Mahatma Ghandi

Hiya!

Just a quick update about the readybaked cake collaboration. If you are interested please message baked1808@gmail.com. It is not compulsory, however it would bring exposure for you as a cake artist and also help others via knowledge exchange.

The theme for the cake collaboration is cancer awareness and the sub theme is food.

Ive just finished my cake using mainly simple tools from the kitchen cupboard.

Here's the finished cake. I will post how I made it on readybaked.weebly.com

PS: If you intend to join, as a beginner decorator, there is an incentive for you. This will involve nairalanders voting on the best cake, results will be verified by a neutral person, say the moderator for the food section.

If you are interested, sign in.

Are you a beginner cake decorator or someone looking to improve their skills? Then this is for you.

ReadyBaked is organising a cake collaboration and knowledge exchange event which will help us showcase our skills as cake decorators.

The main aim of this project is to apply our expertise and skills to drive innovation. In addition, we are looking to challenge ourselves as cake decorators, to see whether we can produce better cakes. This event has a lot of benefit for the people involved.

FoodRe: Pls Help How Can I Put Picture Of A Celebrant On Cake by mooretes: 10:40pm On Apr 26, 2016
You will need to have an edible printer, edible ink and wafer paper/ icing sheet.
Scan the persons photo and store image on computer. Use a photo editing software to crop your photo to the size you want.

Do a trial run to ensure your colours come out ok.

Do research on cakecentral or google

All the best
