9 loveymom:Thanks so much. Will try it at some point and let you know. FTM, Im unable to due to circumstances beyond my control |
Honestly @loveymom u r very gifted. Learnt to make bread from you and now if you don't mind, can you teach me/us how to make buns? They look lovely. Likewise your meat pie! Though, I know how to make one. In short, when i grow up, i wan b like u! Ps: i enjoy making stuff n like you instead of buying them i prefer homemade. Tastes better and you can control what goes in x Cheers |
queensnow:Ingredients Millet/jero Dry ginger Kanafuru/ cloves Dry pepper Dried denkeli/sweet potato (optional) Sugar to taste 1 liter of boiling water 1 liter of cold water Unfortunately i cant give you measurements as I tend to eyeball it. You need to b careful of how much cloves you add as it can quickly change the taste. Pepper should be added according to how 'hot' you want it. Method Soak jero, ginger, cloves, pepper and denkeli (optional,i hardly use it) overnight. Wash until clear and soak again (total of 2 days) Blend all ingredients. Pour into a big bowl, take 1 cup out Add the hot water to the bowl and mix ). Bring to boil (5 mins - 8mins, this part is guestimation i really im sorry as ita second nature) let it cook as you would pap/ogi/custard Add the one cup back in with the cold water Mix everything together and the using a cheesecloth or sieve or an organza fabric, remove the chaff. Your drink is ready. Add sugar to taste. You can freeze it in small bottles or keep in the fridge. I probably didnt give the best way as i jiat make it anyway. Grew up in the north so enjoyed loads of northern food and kind of just knew the process but not how much of each ingredients you would require. Today, I just make it when I feel like it and most especially in the summer. I've heard people use it to increase milk supply. I havent tried this but to each their own. Alternatively, follow this instructionhttp://www.dobbyssignature.com/2013/09/kunu-zaki-millet-drink-recipe.html?m=1 Hope it helps |

Hi guys, I am sorry it has to come to this but as much as I hate interfering in peoples convo, I would kindly suggest you probably take your e-fight somewhere else. In addition STOP swearing on my thread! I believe we should be grown up about whatever it is we are dealing with. Moreso, messages on such platforms can be read out of context and in as much as I don't even know what started this whole brouhaha, please do not derail my topic! This thread was opened for people like you to appreciate the burger cake. So please let us keep it that way. Thanks for understanding. Happy New year in advance. GBY |
Hi peops
|
loveymom:To you too |
loveymom:Hi loveymom, Sorry i havent made another one yet. Ive got some cakes that im making atm so ive left bread baking till later. Will let you know how it turns out soon. Bless u |
loveymom:It came out fine. According to my oven, the bread baking temperature was set at 220. I was sceptical but still used it. Only thing was it cooked in about 15mins so i wanted to know what temp to use next time. Will try it again tomorrow i think because your recipe is quite good and i made it using my hands cos i was too lazy to use my mixer Thanks |
loveymom:I use a gas oven with preinstalled temperature for some specific cooking including bread baking Funny enough taste of home says "Generally, leaner breads (made with flour, water, and yeast) are baked at 400° to 425°. Richer breads (made with more fat and eggs) are baked at lower temperatures. Breads made with less than 1/2 cup sugar are generally baked at 375° and bread with more are baked at 350°. A loaf of bread can bake from 25 to 45 minutes. The baking time depends on the size and shape of the loaf and the temperature of the oven." |
loveymom:Yes i understand that is the reason i was asking for the particular temperature which you have not mentioned. Im sorry to be a bother. But could you kindly give a guide as to what the low temparture should be? Thanks again |
Hi lovelymom! Thanks for the bread recipe. What temp should this be baked at? I have tried it and used the bread baking setting on my oven which tbh after 15mins bread was done. I must admit its quite a high temp. So wanted to be sure. Thanks again for the recipe X Thanks once again. |

@eternabeing very interesting n true |
It is not just about sex or having multiple partners. Everyone should take it. In fact, there has been talks for boys to even take it (pre-teens). It prevents cancer yes. See link https://www.cdc.gov/features/hpvvaccineboys/ I first heard about the hpv vaccine three weeks ago and since then, I researched about it only for me to come across it again last week and then today. When I heard the news, it was noted that a youngster had died from some form of cancer and could have been protected if he'd been given the vaccine early enough. To this end, it would be best for one to do more research instead of thinking you are immune because you have just one partner. Knowledge is power. Do more research. Gby |
