@ Poster,
Whast baffles me in the room attimes is when ppu make a tread they dont have full knowledge about thereby talking rubbsih.

Who told you they are not making it big?

For your information Omotola Jolade Ekehinde earn N750,000 per movie and you can imagine how many movie she features ina month. Genevieve earns N1m per movie which is even more than the per annum salry of a banker that works from morning till night for solid 365days.

Abeg, for me o, am not ready to sign any petition against atleast they are still making both ends meet afterall nobody is forcing anybody to buy their movie,

Business / Re: Beware Of ATM Card Cloning by moreshow(m): 10:12am On Mar 29, 2008
Ignorance they say kills more even than HIV/AIDS. The truth is that there are several equipment used in reading the chip on the ATM, SIM cards but the only good is that the ATM developers are this inbuilt security in the ATM Machine that is not noticeable by any of the users. BElieve it or not THE ATM MACHINE AS AN INBUILT CAMERA DAT SNAPS THE ALL USERS OF THE ATM MACHINE RIGHT FROM WHEN U INSERT THE ATM IN MACHINE. Though, this does not tends to be the ultimate solution for the money illegally withdrawn but atleast if you contact the bank (NEW GENERSTION BANKS) to lodge ur complain, am very sure u can get the informatrion and the person that withdrew ur money.

Travel / Re: So Many Fire Incidents In Lagos: Why? by moreshow(m): 12:14pm On Feb 19, 2008
gentleaura:

Most of the fires is suspected arson, if investigated well enough. What the people need is insurance, even though they don't foresee fire, you need to have yourself protected just in the light of starting all over again!

We still need effective governance in Nigeria, when that is in place, all aspects of law keeping will be effective, such fires could be prevented, if not, losing once entire life sufferings in a snap of a finger will be totally reduced!
If people these unfortunate ppu had had the money at all, they wouldn't have been on the road side in the first place.

Fashion / Re: Second-Hand Clothes! by moreshow(m): 11:23am On Jan 10, 2008
GOD HIMSELF CREATED US DIFFERENTLY.
So nobody should be blame for wearing a second hand product but the truth attimes is that the so called boutique wears are gotten from the popular bend down select market.
I wouldn't want to quote anybody but u can just imagine a member saying he used to weare the second hand wear b4 he starts working but now dat he is working he stopped it becos of the like jam in the second hand wear. (OSHISKO!!! the jam wey mo kill you before you get work - Nigerians can form sha).

As for me I buy not only because of I don't have the money to enter the acclaimed boutique but becos I want to be part of the put that buys it cos I know most of them (SECOND HAND BUYERS) are much more better than us and since wey den don dey use am dem never die grin
Politics / Re: EFCC Declares Igbinedion Wanted! by moreshow(m): 4:29pm On Jan 09, 2008
What baffles most is the way that we NIgerians treat things and later cry over a spit milk. For example lets all agree that Igbinedon would be guilty for the crimes or whatever he charged for to declare him wanted, Is ICPC or EFCC or all other anti-corrution agencies blind when the said crimes are being committed but we all know the truth and shy away from it. Fine! we all know that they enjoy sort of immunity but the truth is that the so called LAW MAKER ought to have limit or amend the laws for them (i.e corrupt governor ect) to be trial while office and not crying and basterdizing their image and names after they are ex,

vikiviko:

Its long overdue.

Thank God the currupt governors are facing the music.

All his assets when convicted should be freezed.

Well done EFCC

lol i guess EFCC and oher relevant laws knows how best to treat Igbinedon's case

Dis Guy:

I just don't get it undecided

what exactly do you guys want?
first you cry they are roaming free. . .
then when they get arrested you still say its a gimmick
when they are arraigned you actually blame the EFCC
for not giving them longer sentences or treating them like kings in prison

what do you want exactly?
Do you want them to be shot point blank without trial
before you believe they are actually doing something?

THANKS YOU GOD, for the still making ppu of the same calibre like me shocked

The truth is that I would suggest you hook and look up for a female companion who would apprciate and unerstand you and the ways you are currently feeling cos if you go for A MALE COMPANION, then the reverse could be the case because we Nigeran men can be very funny alot cos 90% of us are out their to toy tongue with with you and get what we want and peradventure dump you the way your currently husband is doing. Health / Re: My Roommate Smokes: How Can It Affect Me? by moreshow(m): 3:06pm On Oct 30, 2007
smoking does affect you,

Read on,

Research has generated scientific evidence that secondhand smoke (that is, in the case of cigarettes, a mixture of smoke released from the smoldering end of the cigarette and smoke exhaled by the smoker) causes the same problems as direct smoking, including heart disease,[5] cardiovascular disease, lung cancer, and lung ailments such as COPD, bronchitis and asthma.[6] Specifically, meta-analyses have shown lifelong non-smokers with partners who smoke in the home have a 20–30% greater risk of lung cancer, and those exposed to cigarette smoke in the workplace have an increased

Business / Re: Credit Card In Nigeria: Advantages And Disadvantages by moreshow(m): 6:19pm On Oct 28, 2007
Advantages

A credit card can:

1. Offer free use of funds, provided you always pay your balance in full, on time.
2. Be more convenient to carry than cash.
3. Help you establish a good credit history.
4. Provide a convenient payment method for purchases made on the Internet and over the telephone.
5. Give you incentives, such as reward points, that you can redeem.

Disadvantages

On the other hand, credit cards can:

1. Cost much more than other forms of credit, such as a line of credit or a personal loan, if you don't pay on time.
2. Damage your credit rating if your payments are late;
3. Allow you to build up more debt than you can handle;
4. Have complicated terms and conditions;

WHICHEVER WAY, HAVING A NIGEIAN CREDIT CARDS IS LIKE HAVING A MERE PLASTIC COS MOST MERCHANT REGARD NOT 9JA CREDIT CARDS DUE TO OUR EVER INCREASING STATUS (THE BAD ONE AS USUAL) ABROAD.
