• If you plan to have dependants living with you in the UK, how can you ensure that your responsibility for them will not affect your studies?

• How will you fund your studies? Is this a guaranteed source of income for course fees and living expenses?

when you write/submit a statement of purpose, and it's reviewed successfully, pre cas interview will not be so difficult for you

Questions like ...why you choose the UK, why you choose the school, if you had considered other countries or other schools in the UK(you must definitely respond with a YES to show that u are a genuine student), how much you intend spending in a day, month or weekdl for rent, feeding and social activities during your stay, what are the major locations(museum, statidums, parks and so on)within the area, what you aim to achieve after your study, if you have a dependant coming along and so on.....nothing that you shouldnt be able to handle....the koko na how to present your answers in clear and simple terms in English

I am yet to apply for CAS as my proof of funds should be available by tomorrow

A pre cas interview (video recording) was carried out (AI) and fortunately, i scaled through

I was asked to proceed with paying my tuition deposit of 5k pounds which has been made since last week
I am just waiting for my proof of funds to mature by tomorrow to enable me apply for CAS

The school reached out even up till this morning via phone call to inquire why I was yet to apply for CAS and I inturn asked them the duration to get my CAS after application, I was told within 3-5 working days

Their fees is on their website, you can Google it

Mine was 15,950 pounds....was given a 1500pound s scholarship.

As regards if dependents are allowed, I sent them an email and their response was..."as long as it's a research based course, you are allowed to come in with dependants"... Hopefully that turns out to be true as I also plan to move with just my spouse

Lastly, I believe PGWP is the same as post work permit.

If so, then yes, there is a 2yrs post work permit

Request for medical 30th
Status of eligibility and background check changed on 30th August
Medical done on 2nd Sept
Medical submitted to IRCC 5th Sept
Medical passed 5th Sept
PPR 10th September
Current status, still not showing completed for eligibility and background check, I don't know if that's normal.
Above all
I secured a fully funded PhD scholarship
4 years program
Submitted all necessary documents.

That looks like a refusal. Reason is because ur portal should still be in progress after PPR.

Nothing is certain. If you did upfront medical, it only means decision has been taken or almost taken.
You will just have to wait and be hopeful it's an approval. There was a time I used to think bvl dropping first as in your case is usually accompanied with PPR. Let's hope it's applicable to yours
