We all heard he beat up the wife, but we didn't get to know what the wife did.You can just wake up and start beating a woman u sleep with who have kids for u. Something went wrong, which women don't usually bring up in this case.

Taju was this morning handed over to the Oyo state governor, Abiola Ajimobi at the state house in Ibadan, the state capital

The cute Yoruba kid became an instant social media hit the moment his video trying to speak English hit the internet. He said in the video that he doesn't go to school.

Actor, Funmi Awelewa who shared photos of Taju meeting with the state governor, wrote

''Thanks everyone for your love and support. I am so happy to let you all know that Taju is now in safe hands. TAJU is now with the government?? I love you Boy?
The wife of Oyo State Governor Dr Florence Ajimobi today, met with the little boy, Tajudeen Ibrahim Agbabiaka, that trended on social media some days ago. It can be recalled that Taju was recorded in an instagram video, where he was asked questions in English language and could not respond because he could not converse in the language. The Oyo state government has taken responsibility and custody of the child through the child welfare unit of the state government.

Dr Ajimobi reiterated her commitment to improving the quality of life of children and urged the young parents not to be irresponsible to the role of training their children but care for the children with the required nourishment and basics of life.
In the meantime, case work intervention is on going on the issue so as to bring it to a logical conclusion. The state government has reiterated its commitment to reducing the vulnerability of children and the under privileged in the state. Taju is now with the government''.

Legally speaking, "No one should benefit from a criminal act".

If the divorce is because youR caught the wife cheating with another man..... then she should not then benefit from such act, by getting anything from the CURRENT husband.
let her go and get it from the man she was cheating with.

But if it is just from "normal disagreement that cannot be reconciled", then it may be equitable that the man gives her something, not because they both own it or they must share it fifty-fifty, but out of generosity.

Women should work, just like men and own their own property, instead of trying to leech on their husband or even trying to arrogate his property to themselves once there is disagreement.

The idea that a woman is entitled to half or some other percentage of her husbands property when divorce occurs, is what is prompting so many women in the West, to file for divorce at the slightest excuse, ..... even when they are the culprit!

Like how much can a man spend to get a divorce lawyer in Nigeria pls

The issue of sharing of properties cannot come in except the wife claims that as a relief in her answer to the petition for dissolution of marriage.

If she specifically ask that she shares in the matrimonial properties and the facts and circumstances makes it justifiable that she does deserve a share, the court will order that.

The law doesn't care about who owns what or what anyone brought into the marriage.

The court can order settlement I. e share any property belonging to any of the parties on the request of the woman.

Nigerian law considers marriage as a partnership.

The law assumes when the partnership finally end, nobody leaves empty handed except the woman didn't specifically ask for anything.
