There are more private jet owners in Nigeria than
any other country in Africa. There are about 177
private jets in Nigeria currently, with Dangote and
Oyedepo owning the highest numbee (Four each).
Out of the 177 PJ’s in Nigeria, four of them are
owned by women.
According to unconfirmed reports, these are the
four women who own private jets in Nigeria…
1. Billionaire businesswoman – Mrs Folorunsho
Alakija 2. Former Minister of Petroleum – Mrs Diezani Alison-Madueke 3. Oil magnate and politician – Bola Shagaya (who bought hers very recently) 4. Daisy Danjuma, who reportedly got hers as a gift from her billionaire husband, Rtd Gen. Theophilus Danjuma.

The correlation between stress and sleep
deprivation is becoming increasingly apparent in
a modern society. Many people have troubles
falling asleep, because they feel the weight of
stress most heavily at night. Best-selling author Dr. Andrew Weil, who received his M.D. from Harvard University, recommends to overcome stress and insomnia with one amazing breathing technique known as the “4-7-8 exercise.” This trick is shockingly elementary, takes hardly any time, and can be done pretty much anywhere. How to do the “4-7-8″ exercise: 1. Place the tip of your tongue against the tissue ridge right above your upper front teeth. Keep it there during the exercise. 2. Exhale completely through your mouth, making a whoosh sound. 3. Close your mouth and inhale slowly through your nose while mentally counting to four. 4. Hold your breath for a mental count of seven. 5. Exhale completely through your mouth for a mental count of eight making whoosh sound. This concludes the first cycle. Repeat the same process three times. The four-count inhale allows to take more oxygen. The seven-count hold gives the oxygen more time to thoroughly permeate the bloodstream, and the eight-count exhale slows the heart rate and releases a greater amount of carbon dioxide from the lungs. In a nutshell: breathe in for four, hold for seven, and breathe out for eight. Very simple isnt it? |

WOW!!! Nigerian Student Breaks
University Record In Russia With
5.0 CGPA [See Photo)
The Federal Ministry of
Education on Wednesday in Abuja
honoured Dr Victor Olalusi who
scored 5.0 Cumulative Grade
Point Average (GPA) in Russian
National Research Medical
University, Moscow (RNRMU) in
2013, arguably the first in
the world.
According to P.M news, a
Nigerian student named Dr
Victor Olalusi has set a new
record in Russian National
Research Medical University,
Moscow (RNRMU) after amassing a
5.0 Cumulative Grade Point
Average (GPA) in the school.
He was the best graduating
student in the whole Russian
Federation in 2013. His study
was under the Russia-Nigeria
Bilateral Education Agreement.
This great educational feat
attracted a special honour from
the Federal Ministry of
Education in Abuja on Wednesday,
28th of July. This record has
been termed as the first in the
world.
Speaking at the event, Dr
MacJohn Nwaobiala, the Permanent
Secretary in the ministry said
a lot of Nigerian students were
brilliant but Olalusi was a
genius.
He said Olalusi had become an
ambassador not only to the
ministry but to Nigeria and
Russihi
Nwaobiala said: “We have to
search the Guinness Book of
Records for anybody who has
achieved 5.0 in a university.
It is curious and strange that
all those that evaluated his
performance could not find
reason to reduce a point from
him.
“You should be the ambassador of
the Federal Scholarship Board,
Ministry of Education,
Nigeria and the Russian
Federation.
“I look forward to the day you
will stand before the President
to receive your honour. We have
recommendations to that effect,
’’
He then urged Olalusi to
continue to be a role model to
young Nigerians and also
called on him to explore
opportunities in post
graduate research.
Olalusi is presently going
through the compulsory
National Youth Service scheme
in Rivers.
Mr Artem Romanov, who represented
the Russian Embassy, also saluted
the great achievement of the
young Nigerian with a very
promising future. |

polytechnic graduate are entrepreneurs :
A recent survey conducted by a firm reveal
that more polytechnic graduate prefer to be
their own boss compare to university
graduate that always run after white collar
job. As you all know that BSC is more valuable in terms of salary and promotions in any industry or organisation. Polytechnic student prefer to start a big, small or medium business to enable them computer with holders of BSC result. Polytechnic focuses more on practical aspect : I should not have include this on my list but I change my mindset when a 300 level computer science student from a federal university could not install a disc on a friend laptop . Affordable school fees: the average and common tuition fee charged by most of the polytechnic in Nigeria is less than N40,000. As such, polytechnic have make education affordable to all Nigerians Unlike the Varsity that some of them charge above N90,000 Some of this varsity are Lasu Unisoun Ansu Eksu Aau And many other university. Quick certificate : within 2 years, you can also be among the working class and some have succeeded with their National diploma ND certificate You don't have to study for 5 years before you start earning salary with your certificate and this has been very helpful, especially for those who have financial issues. Change of study and environment: Yes, this is another benefit of polytechnic education. You can decide to change your course of study after your national diploma if there any reason to do so. Moreso, you can run a national diploma programme in Lagos and continue your HND in another polytechnic in any part of Nigeria. You can also go further to study in the university in any prefer state. Easy admission: Easily as it sound, polytechnic admission is less competitive. There are some individual who have been running after university for over 5 to 6 year without any breakthrough. Polytechnic have made admission easier, with one or two trails, you will conquer the problem of admission. Job opportunity: presently now, some job are design only for national diploma holder and Hnd holder and as such, there will be lesser competition for those with polytechnic Degree. In some industry, there will be specification that only Nd are needed for a particular position which exclude BSC and HND degree holder. You should also remember that to be Hnd result holder, you must have ND certificate Equal Certificate: all things are been equal in the polytechnic.... all polytechnic result have the same value either private, northern, eastern or western polytechnic. However the Varsity certificate are not equal and federal university certificate is more valuable and wanted to any varsity certificate. Admission by Merits: Admission in some university is by power, money, connection, intelligence and many other factors. You may have to pay a some of money before you can be considered for admission in some university. However the polytechnic admission is by merit, candidate that perform excellently will be offered admission regardless of the course and the scores There is no room for Foul play in selection of candidate. lastly polytechnic is not a fashion or bigger boys/girls arenna: 10% of the student in university arr always feeling superior and some of them live big, use the latest phone to impress other student. Forgetting the main reason and purpose of coming to the school....... source:::: myschoolnewz |
