Scholarships are in a nutshell referred to as gifts. They don’t need to be repaid. There are thousands of them, offered by schools, employers, individuals, private companies, nonprofits, communities, religious groups, and professional and social organizations.

How do I find scholarships?
You can learn about scholarships in several ways, including contacting the financial aid office at the school you plan to attend and checking information in a public library or online. But be careful. Make sure scholarship information and offers you receive are legitimate; and remember that you don’t have to pay to find scholarships or other financial aid. Always be alert to avoid scam.

Try these free sources of information about scholarships:

the financial aid office at a college or career school
a high school or TRIO counselor
the U.S. Department of Labor’s
your state grant agency
your library’s reference section
foundations, religious or community organizations, local businesses, or civic groups
organizations (including professional associations) related to your field of interest
ethnicity-based organizations
your employer or your parents’ employers.
When do I apply for scholarships?
That depends on each scholarship’s deadline. Some deadlines are as early as a year before college starts, so if you’re in high school now, you should be researching and applying for scholarships during the summer between your junior and senior years. But if you’ve missed that window, don’t give up! Look at scholarship information to see which ones you can still apply for now.

How do I apply for scholarships?
Each scholarship has its own requirements. The scholarship’s website should give you an idea of who qualifies for the scholarship and how to apply. Make sure you read the application carefully, fill it out completely, and meet the application deadline.

All the Best Peeps.

In view of the free fall of the Naira and strict foreign exchange policy by the central bank of Nigeria (i.e international withdrawal limit of $500 monthly, international transfer ban to individual account and et al). Parents now find it very difficult to transfer upkeep (money) to their ward and pay tuition fee. The Naira has crashed to about N350 to a Dollar and N425 to a Pound at the parallel market and has caused major financial burden to parents.
We at Navesta MKP Limited ask Why you have decided to place yourself and wards under "financial stress and uncertainty".
We are pleased to enlighten the general public about our new book "A Collection of Reputable Tuition-free Universities and Colleges in Europe: International Students Guide".
The book highlights the list of tuition-free universities, admission process, document authentication guide, previous study recognition, student visa/ residence permit application, part-time jobs, health insurance and other information.

Technology MarketThe Immediate Measures To Help Boost Electricity Generation In Nigeri by mosh2035(op): 11:06pm On Jan 30, 2016
THE IMMEDIATE MEASURES TO HELP BOOST ELECTRICITY GENERATION IN NIGERIA.
Nigerians should henceforth stop complaining about everything but proffer the government with alternative solutions to our challenges. Yelling and propaganda won’t solve any challenge but increase tension and disaffection.
We are tired of epileptic power supply for over three decades. Its negative impact has crippled our economy and led to a monumental level of unemployment (although some youths are unemployable). We won’t go into politics so we will not mention the massive financial resources wasted without an atom of improvement in the power sector while other nations with less financial expenditure on power witnessed a remarkable improvement. According to Popoola (2009) ‘’no nation/country can develop without stable and efficient power generation and distribution’’.
We hereby implore the Minster of Power and his team to immediately carry out a study on ‘’Power ships’’ in view of deploying it to some states. According to Wikipedia (2014) ‘’A powership is a special purpose marine ship shaped vessel, on which a power plant is installed to serve as a power generation resource’’. Furthermore, Karadeniz Energy LTD defines a powership as ‘’ the name given to a barge or ship mounted fully integrated floating power plants. They deliver fast track, utility size & grade power plants, with no completion or construction risk, ready for power supply directly into the transmission network from its onboard high-voltage substation’’.
A powership is an existing ship that has been modified for power generation, a marine vessel, on which a power plant is installed to serve as a power generation resource. Powerships can be equipped with single or multiple gas turbines, reciprocating diesel and gas engines, boilers or nuclear reactors for electricity generation. Bureau Veritas, an international certification agency with experience in overseeing both shipbuilding and power plant development, classifies such floating power plants as "special service power plants". Power barges can be built very quickly in comparison to a powership or a land-based plant. A 100 MW gas turbine power barge can be built and be ready for deployment in about three months.
The powership technology has been successfully tested and used in countries like Iraq, Lebanon, USA, and even in Ghana.
COUNTRIES POWER GENERATION
IRAQ (Basra city) 200MW
LEBANON (Beirut) 203MW
GHANA 450MW (Ongoing)
USA (New York) 200MW
We need stable and reliable power supply in Nigeria if indeed we are ready for CHANGE AND DEVELOPMENT.
