Top contenders for NNPC proposed sale of refineries to private operators are;
Oando: Power of presidential incumbency.
Transcorp/UBA/UCAP: Anything Tony Elumelu due to his association with BAT.
BUA: He would have gotten it but he is building his own.

I am taking a starter in these companies before new break.... Nothing guaranteed
Any other company you think?
Do your due diligence folks.

The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited has stated plans to engage reputable operations and maintenance companies for the Warri Refining and Petrochemical Company and the Kaduna Refining and Petrochemical Company.

The NNPC, in a notice on its website, said this was to ensure reliability and sustainability to meet the nation’s fuel supply and energy security obligations.

Chairman of Heirs Holdings, Tony Elumelu, has accused former President Muhammadu Buhari of blocking his bid to acquire an oil field.

He revealed this in an interview with the Financial Times, highlighting a contentious decision made by the previous administration.

Absolutely, an Associate degree as regards to Visa application shows clearly that the applicant is not interested in education. Associate degree do not in anyway contribute to progression. Focus solely on degree awarding university/college. Your associate degree made the VO believe you wanna follow the footstep of your brother. A full degree won't have brought about that suspicion or conclusion.

official4000:
Went for my visa interview in Lagos,

VO: Good morning..
Me: Good Morning
VO: Where are u going to?
Me: I'm going to South's Plains College Levelland Lubbock Texas to get an associate degree in business administration there....(VO cuts in)
VO: Have u traveled out before:
Me: yes, back in 2014 I went on a family trip to London with my family...
VO: Do u have any relatives in London...
Me: Yes, my mom's sister,my aunt...
VO: How old are u?
Me: I'm 17
VO: When did u graduate from High School..
Me: 2021, October
VO: types and keeps on typing..
VO: How did ur brother get his green card?
Me: Marriage
VO: What is ur brother's wife's name?
Me: (says name)
VO: How long has he been married for?
Me: 2 to 3 years...I'm not all too sure about the exact number of years...
VO: Do they have kids?
Me:No, not yet anyways....
VO: I'm sorry I'll have to deny ur visa...
Me: Is this denial related to information about my brother?
VO: check the letter ....PS: I know already what is there .
Me: Did anything go wrong during the interview...I'd like to know to make corrections when I reapply...
VO: I'm sorry I knows it frustrating, check the letter... I'll have to call the next person now...
Me: leaves in utmost shock and surprise

On the letter the reason for denial is Section 214(b) of immigration and nationality act.

My elder brother got married there after going in with an F-1 visa back in 2015. Does this mean all members of my family will be unable to get a US visa for this reason, majority of my family lives back home and I wasn’t asked about them but got denied due to ‘lack of home ties’ I just felt it was unfair I didn’t get a chance to actually talk about myself or what my degree will do for me. What can I do before reapplying?

You are applying for an Associate Degree too.
I have severally read on this page that they consider Bachelors Degree. I believe that’s the issue not your brother.
Many of the Gurus here have stated that once it’s an associate degree, most VO believe you don’t want to come back.
Please anyone can correct me if I’m wrong [/quote]

Computers / A Nigerian IT Professional In US Share His (4) Job Offers Story. by mosh2035(m): 7:45pm On Aug 10, 2020
Strategic Career Decision: Choosing between four (4) job offer at the same time.

Mr. Popoola, a Nigerian based in Washington DC shared this on professional networking site Linkedin.

Note for employers/recruiters: Always put the best foot forward. In a nutshell, give the best offer you can rather than compete when the candidate has made up his/her mind to contribute positively  to another company.

I decided to seek better opportunities, I applied to numerous companies, and interviewed at several companies, then I found myself in a situation of having four job offers on my table. Dealing with a multiple job offer is kind of a delicate dance. Getting more than one job offer at the same time is an exciting prospect when you are job hunting but, also overwhelming. I asked for a week to review the offers. It was stressful having to access all the offers and choosing the best for me in terms of compensation , commuting, benefits, responsibilities, and career progression (my priority......lol). After laying out all the pros and cons , I came to a decision and chose the best for me while I Still had to deal with rejecting the 3 other offers which wasn't easy. Turning down a job offer doesnt feel great but its inevitable. I showed my appreciation, and found a good reason to decline all 3 offers left. The most irritating thing is that two of the companies kept offering me more money in order to win me over, but guess what? Money ain't the ULTIMATE for me. They intentionally undervalued my worth but not it's their Loss.
