BlueRayDick: Well, as a fan u are free to blame anybody u choose to blame ; it's ur right.
But one thing that is obvious is that we've been vlamouring for Arteta to stop starting Martinelli due to his drop in on performance and he eventually listens today by starting Sterling instead.
It's obvious Arteta believes in Playing trossard as a makeshift playmaker in the absence of Odegaarf hence why Trossard did not replace Martinelli in the starting lineup.
Sterling didn't play badly against Bolton so it is understandable why Arteta decided to give him his first starting role in the EPL in a less serious match like Southampton.
I hope Sterling don't start going forward and only gets to play as a substitute till he shows some level of improvement in his play. Bro... Thank God this is coming from you. A lot here were even bashing Arteta for failing to rotate his players in previous seasons. He tried it today and what did we get here? Complains and swears. The reason why I mentioned Jesus was because he was getting in the way of other players. There were times we had Sterling, Jesus, Calafiori and Rice on the LW leaving the box empty. |

The only flaw from the lineup was starting Gabriel Jesus. I would have prefer Ethan starts instead.
Every other choice was spot on.
Saka is just Saka.
A big shout-out to Havertz. What a well taken goal!
Martinelli is rugged, energetic and fearless, if only he can add a little bit of intelligence to his game. That's what Trossard has ahead of him.
All in all, that was a nice game. |

Tomiyasu and Ethan should come in for Jorginho and Jesus abeg.
Saka is finding things difficult at the RW simply because Partey doesn't overlap. |

BlueRayDick: It's easier said than done.
I believe he made the Southampton move to protect his mental health. The last one year he spent on the bench definitely affected him mentally and he doesn't want to be on bench for another whole year.
I feel his pain and respect his decision for moving to a club he gets to play weekly. It is easy for us to look at his decision from afar as being unreasonable, but I understand how he feels. I know bro... I just feel he deserves better than Southampton. Heard he didn't want to leave England that's why club outside were not bidding for him. |

Saturday is going to be so emotional. I kinda feel for Ramsdale. He was part of our rejuvenation journey. He should have at least wait for a big club to come calling. A goalkeeper of his calibre shouldn't be drinking goals the way he is doing currently. |

BlueRayDick: I was telling someone recently that it appears we bring in Gabriel Jesus as sub nowadays when we are no longer interested in scoring a goal in a match. It's just so annoying chances fall to him and he do everything to not put the ball at the back of the net His time is up surely. I don't see him here next season. He is too unserious. There was this chance he got yesterday, all he needed was to toe-poke the ball to either Saka or Havertz (both were ready to shoot) yet he still attempted to dribble. Just look at that first goal yesterday. See those neat and decisive moves by Trossard. |

🗣️Norway Manager Ståle Solbakken on Arsenal man Martin Ødegaard: “Martin is far from being in the squad (for Norway’s upcoming nations league games with Slovenia and Austria). We will have to see how far he gets during this international break. It is possible that he will come, but it depends a little on his rehabilitation. I have not spoken to him in the past four or five days." 🙏

Deltamani: Lol 😂
The few games have seen her play she’s good enough to start for the Flamingos talk more of making the team. Na them know why them drop her sha cause there’s no way she will camp with the U20 and not improve on her game while coming down to the U17. It’s more than what you can see.!
That guy even picked 4 Midfielders only! I had to ask o because I need to know the basis on which many want her to be part of the squad. I've not watched her before. That said, I still think we should let the coach pick his team. Correct me if I'm wrong but the bulk of this team played the qualifiers. I wish Simeone well |

Drogba and Torres are great players no doubt and will definitely give our current CB’s a tough time , but he’s just fooling himself trying to chook himself in their middle . daveP: The nff itself is not trying to make the fbs see playing for Nigeria early as a catch. I keep saying that Attervall part was crazy. Since Courtney Dike I don't remember any fb balling for us at cadet competitions. Now the two that came are suddenly brushed off in this manner? Simone is good enough for u20. Not to talk of u17. Before someone thinks this is some worshipping talk.
Nobody gets rejected twice in such manner will be happy to rep.
This is sad. Not just her but the way it was done.
Made this girl even do team initiation Only to end in tears? Have you watched this girl play? Like can you tell us her best and worst attributes? |

Former Watford striker, Troy Deeney, questions how Arsenal's Gabriel Magalhaes and William Saliba would come in the era of Didier Drogba and Fernando Torres.
🗣️Deeney: "The only thing that will always set them [Gabriel and Saliba] back is the other guys [Vidic & Ferdinand and Carvalho & Terry] all won! They haven't had to go up against a Didier Drogba, they haven't had to go up against a Fernando Torres.
🗣️"It's quite a nicer way to play centre-back [now]."
On if Saliba and Gabriel would fancy playing against him;
🗣️Deeney: "I don't think they'd like to play against a big, ugly Troy Deeney." 😂 [talkSPORT]

TheSuperNerd: Above is the statement made. Please where is prior to Sept 18 mentioned? Wasn't it clearly stated it was before his debut happened? Even if it was a minute before his debut, the point stands as valid as it was indeed before his debut.
And Ethan making the bench that day, was it a guarantee of his eventual debut? No. Capital No. We have seen youngsters make the bench all the time without coming off the bench. In Ethan's case, We anticipated it and I rightly did justice to his info. Him eventually making his debut later that same day became a bonus.
The question is was Ethan mentioned here before he made his Arsenal first team debut? The answer is a BIG YES!!
Now rest. You are the one arguing over nothing really. LMAO... Whatever satisfies your ego. The fact still remain that you lied. Now rest. Ndi did justice to making him visble A kid you know nothing about till you saw his name on the team sheet on that day. |
