It is ok abeg... We all want the best for the club.

The news about Calafiori injuring his knee yesterday during that celebration shouldn't be true abeg.

I clearly said we mentioned him before his debut. I was certain of it and I have proved so. You are the one shifting it to "prior to Sept 18". Was he mentioned before he made his debut? Before he stepped out onto the pitch at Arteta's call? We did.

At the time we mentioned Ethan, had he made his debut? No. So I am not wrong. Read my statement again.
Was he mentioned here prior to Sept 18, 2022? NO!
This is in no way something worth arguing about. Infact the first post about him came immediately the team sheet was revealed for that Brentford game.
Finito!

Nwakali is still richer than you,
more famous than you,
more loved than you.
He may as well be more educated than you if he decides to choose education, but he is a sports man.

Nwakali is better than you in life, there is nothing you can say about him that will change that.
How dare you!

The next post following the post below says it all. Just a click takes you back to it all.
Lmao... Everything you posted about Ethan still came on the exact day he made his debut.
Prior to September 18, 2022, nobody mentioned him here. That's what I was implying

You doubt it probably because you were not here when it happened or you just forgot.
Of course... You mentioned him here the day he made his debut.
September 18, 2022 was the day he made his debut for Arsenal senior team.

Was I wrong?

I agree with everything you said except for where you said we were not complacent, which again I will let it be, because it’s your opinion and how you see it.

Now, my mind is on that PSG match.
I expect it to be a tough test for us, I just pray the boys show up for it. And where is Ben white? Hope he will be available for selection by then.
White is fit now. He might start against PSG but personally, I would Prefer the same team that started against Leicester to start against PSG.

Before he began blowing up, this thread did justice to making him visible. Myself and a couple other monikers already mentioned him before his EPL debut in 22/23 season, 2 seasons ago. We also graced the thread with his record breaking debut which lasted a few mins.

If we had moved on him then, we may have stood a chance but right now ain't no way we are bagging him especially with Bukayo Saka as the kid's mentor.

Saka wanted us for a bit initially but then changed his mind when he saw he had a real chance with England. I understand Saka. And I knew instantly Saka will have a longer lasting England career than Tammy, Tomori, Solanke, EZE and co.

Now same Saka is Captain of Arsenal in Odegaard's absence and another Anglo-Nigerian like himself with high potential, Ethan Nwaneri is finally having his breakthrough season after his EPL debut 2 seasons ago, Omo, ain't no way England are losing this guy unless the hype drops.

Verdict: The NFF should have a mega active scouting and recruitment dept division focused on the dual nationals who can approach them early and see how we can commit them early before the hype comes. Those who will commit, will commit. Those who won't do so, won't do so. But understand, some of these kids also understand that playing for a Euro youth side (England U17, France U17, etc) betters their chances of being considered at their clubs as they climb up the ladder of their careers so some won't commit based on this angle alone.
I doubt anybody mentioned Ethan Nwaneri here before his senior debut though.

TBH kid is so talented. He has a bit of Jamal Musiala in him. Driving runs, close control dribbling and those inch-perfect pass.

I don’t understand grasping at straws when you just summarized the point I’ve been trying to make since.

We were Complacent when we shouldn’t have.

That’s not what champions do.

One is Proactive and the other is Reactive.

Period!
See... Without being complacent, a team can still lose a two-goal lead. I don't think we were complacent yesterday though. And Leicester had their keeper to thank if not that match would have ended in a whitewash.

At the end of the day, how you respond to situation like that of yesterday is what matters. A good team must be prepared to combat uncertainties in the game.

My response is actually for the 'striker' posts you have been making for days now. I Kno th 'decking' post was a joke.

Believe it or not, whatever post you make here won't still stop Arteta from fielding Kai next game. When we went on scoring spree 2nd half of previous season, who did we field? Kai.

Shhhhhh. lipsrsealed
See, on this striker matter, you will calm down. The era of just spending anyhow don pass. The same club wey you dey troll wanted to sign Sesko in the summer until he decided to sign another contract.

How many strikers out there can give Haaland's output? And spreading the goals across the frontline doesn't really exclude a striker. It depends on what the striker offers alongside goals. The aim of this is not to be over-reliance on one source of goals. We kukuma used Auba as an example few days back.

So you saying you will deck someone is somehow funny.

Ethan should be a starter hence abeg. But i doubt this man go wan drop Kai if push comes to shove so that Trossard go dey wing and Nelli in CF. I don't think with such display that Trossard should be coming from the bench hence.

Ethan curler barely 10seconds after coming on... I need more outside box shots abeg. Cali for left, Ethan for right. Im impressed with him.

See that sleek chance that Martinelli miss by taking extra touch before scoring the more difficult one. I hope Saka and Kai get on the scoresheets this 2nd half. Esp Saka. We need 4goals to topple city right now. So 2 more at least. Infact let our inverted attacker score again abeg. I wish i could select him in my fpl but it's only 3 per team.

Is Saka trying to show Pires something or what? Man has been toying with defenders lately.

We still need more goals. Somebody needs to tell Calafiori to stop running around and position himself at the right place. We need more of the goal he scored against City on Sunday.

Manchester City players need to stop moaning about how Arsenal played - Former Crystal Palace CEO and talkSPORT co-host, Simon Jordan

🗣️Jordan: "Arsenal sat in in the second half because they had to. What City want to do is be a little bit more gracious, and appreciate the fact that they couldn't break them [Arsenal] down and that's on them!

🗣️"The obligation upon other sides is to find a way to overcome Man City. What are they [Arsenal] supposed to do? Just roll over and let Man City win?

🗣️"Last week, you've got Thomas Frank [Brentford manager] talking about Man City booting the ball in the corner, holding it in the corner because they're holding on to a 2-1 win. Was that wonderful, beautiful football to watch?"

Gabriel Jesus is too unserious. I think Arteta will likely offload him next summer.

Looking forward to watching Calafiori play tomorrow. Man has got some neat techniques on the ball. And he might knock in some beautiful goals too the more he plays. My money is on him outscoring Gabriel Jesus this season. grin

The only flaw in his game so far is his aggressiveness (which has always been part of him anyway).

Meanwhile, Tomiyasu is back. Partey should just cut small soap for him. This one baba dey play 6 straight games eh
