Following CAF judgement awarding Nigeria with 3pts and fining Libya, arrest against Nigerians is going on in Libya. I don't know how true this is plz..😟😟
I won't be surprised if it is true. I said it here that we should have replayed the match rather trhan CAF directly awarding 3 points to us. they can always find another punishment for Libya.

Just saying what everyone else is afraid to admit.😂

If I’m being taunted by opponents, I will turn into a monster and destroy all of them instead bringing my head down and “Lowering my expectations “.

That’s why last season, I loved how we were demolishing teams especially Chelsea. I thought we would continue from where we stop only for us to start misbehaving earlier into the season.
Then heighten your expectations and let them shatter your heart again now.

4-4 draw against Newcastle, league cup final against Birmingham, Baku final... How many times has this club disappointed you when the stakes are high?

The coach you all want out just signed a 3-year contract few weeks back. All the complains on this thread, how many of them have gotten to MM airport not to talk of London?

As an Arsenal fan, you just need to be realistic and lower your expectations. For the sake of your mental health.

Non taken…lol.

I’ve been a fan since 2007. Now, I don’t know if that’s recent or not.

But what I’m saying is that, I see no reason why as a fan, I shouldn’t evolve and demand more from my coach and the team.
wow... Your coping mechanism is 👌👌

sorry bro, na the trauma of today's match dey affect me. How can Arteta bottle the league at Newcastle every season, we still have 28 matches to go and our rivals are not dropping points at all but we keep loosing, the players haven't made any mistakes at all, they are always on point and arteta keeps loosing. Just look at the clinicality and decisiveness of Trossard today and tell me it isn't Arteta''s fault, or that of zinny if only isak wasn't tired already and Gab intervened, Arteta is the major problem here, not the players.
Don't worry. We're winning the league this season.
Arteta will win it, not that Girona coach or De Zerbi. grin

If only Arsenal have a striker like Haaland who can convert every chances I'm sure we would have won against Bournemouth and also today. But that Bournemouth loss na today e start to dey pain me, something that having a striker like Haaland can prevent. I'm sure Man city with a a striker as magnificent as Haaland can't loose against Bournemouth and can't drop points against Newcastle.
Oops I just checked even Man City and Haaland dropped points against both teams, but,,,, but,,,, they have Haaland nau. Arteta should just get out, we need a coach who can transform us to something the invisible wenger team would worship
Invisible ke? You wan carry us from frying pan to fire? grin grin grin

Why would a true Arsenal fan lower his expectations after being Taunted by other fans as being mediocre. Are we not tired of losing and not winning anything?

See, it’s is on Arteta to turn things around.

I also hope we are all not banking on Odegaard to turn things around for us, make we no go put pressure on him. Arteta needs to go into this January transfer window to get reinforcements or else his job is on the line. Shikena!

Last last we lose the match sha. Me wey don vex as them reschedule my flight to the match time.💀

That was God redirecting my steps because I no know how I for react today.

Safe to say we are out of the title race, No?

Anyway sha, by end of season, Artetas contract must be reviewed and his performance evaluated. I’ve exhausted my excuses for him.
The poorest display I have ever seen bro. this is not even about the coach alone. I doubt anybody had an issue with the lineup prior to the game. I saw their faces after that MD38 last season and i saw unshed tears and pains. One would expect them to channel that into winning games this season.
Out of the title race? To be candid, a true Arsenal fan will always lower his expectations and that is what I am doing. Na Jodera dey usually ginger me grin grin

Bring me Sterling abeg. Or make Martinelli go roll bandage.

Bring in White for Merino and move Partey to the middle. Ethan for Trossard too.

And if you're reluctant to bring in White, bring in Jorginho.

When you have Merino and Havertz in the team, you take full advantage of their heights. Send in crosses.

But na Trossard dey stay up front.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: The Red & White Army: 2025/2026 EPL Champions! by mostob(m): 2:21pm On Nov 02, 2024
I don't want Partey at RB not because he is not fast but because we are going to miss his passes and calmness in the middle.

Trossard has no business staying rooted at CF. His rigidity is not allowing us progress play.

Poorest Arsenal team I've watched in a while.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: The Red & White Army: 2025/2026 EPL Champions! by mostob(m): 12:41pm On Nov 02, 2024
There is one thing admirable about Saliba. For someone with that height and stature, his footwork and pace are very impressive.

Dan Burn is the weakest link in that Newcastle defence. He is tall, huge and physical but not fast enough. The few times I've watched him, he doesn't like playing under pressure because he is average, technically.

But last last the coach knows best.

My own is that we need to win today against an Everton side that is Aggressive and motivated after their carabao cup win.
Newcastle sir... Not Everton

Yea, the coach knows best. I was one of those who were against Partey playing as a RB against Liverpool. See how it turned out bro.

Nwaneri should be tested.

Nothing go happen.
You know I wrote Nwaneri first then I remember Trossard didn't play any part in the Carabao cup on Wednesday. I'll be surprised if Nwaneri starts ahead Trossard.

Left to me, Trossard will come off the bench and I'll start Nwaneri.

Good game lads

Nwaneri is another gem on our hands, boy is progressive with his play. I’ve been hammering for Arteta to play him in Ordegarrd role and boy has been proving Me Right, his progressive play, accurate shot and shot power, and his quest for goals just like his mentor(Skippo) is enough to give him his first premier league start, that goal Dey sweet My Belle.

Immediately Arteta sub in Saka and Partey, I just weak cause we’re managing our injury list and if both player can pick up an injury in a dead rubber game, then it’s on him and his sabotaged self.

Unto the next😎
Ethan's skills and quick thinking are top notch. He is good. Also, he has a little edge ahead of Odegaard when it comes to shooting. He has this special ability to evade his marker, and let off a well placed shot.

However, he still a lot to add to his game. He has shown he is capable of so much more.
