lovewins: But for the reservations I have about working with the people at the glass house, Ashleigh Plumtre will make a great captain in the future.
She did an interview with Channels TV and some of the questions asked were more or less asking her to question the coach's tactics. Impressed with how she masterfully got herself out of it with great responses.
She'll definitely make a great coach someday too should she chose to.
Spy360: Arsenal fans are already in a frenzy with that rumour. Don't worry Inter won't even accept. They value him more than those two. Arsenal only used it to try luck or chase Inter away.
It is just a rumour sha... The chance of it happening is close to zero
Caicedo just dey use everybody play...heard he rejected Liverpool.
Whoever is handling Liverpool transfers need to go for refresher course. Now every club don know say Liverpool get 110m. If Liverpool later goes for Lavia eh... I doubt Southampton will collect anything less than 100m.
yinkeys: Her numbers for the youth national team seem to be better than the names you mentioned Keeping my fingers crossed until after the u20 world cup
lovewins: Of all the young folks many people mention here, Flourish Sebastian is still the one I think has a better prospect. She's fast, skillful and can score. I just think she's not being managed well and will do better going the Abiodun route.
Ajakaye is still very raw and it showed at the last world cup. She still has a lot of work to do. Like you rightly noted, it's just pace and insha'Allah
Thank you. I watched her at the last WAFU and I was not really impressed because there are some flaws in her game. It is understandable as she is still young and has a long way to go. Folks here putting her straight in the Falcon's starting lineup better start comedy shows.
Concerning the Okobi vs Tony argument, I think we all should get use to personal biasedness of each monikers here. Let me rephrase, each of us has that particular aspect, player or team that we're kinda attached to.
yinkeys: Ordega also is a shadow of herself Ajakaiye reminds me of the younger Ordega After the u20 World Cup I see Nigeria starting with Ajibade & Ajakaiye on the wings. Oh boy! Teams are in for big trouble
Kanu, Esther, Gift, Rinsola(?) ...you will bench all these girls just to play Ajakaiye. Person wey be say na pace and inshallah.
Spy360: I will add Holding self to give it weight.
Not that both Balogun and Tomi aren't good, but looking at Arsenal squad now, I will make do more with Barela. With him, Jesus will not need to drop deep too often. Someone like Nketiah will shine.
We are not talking about quality, we are talking about evaluation. Tomi and Balogun for Barela is somehow to me. IMO Balogun is even more valuable than Barela. Olunde wey United sign for 75m, how many goals did he scored last season? Make I go check first.
iamoyindamola: I think we will do well in cup competition might even win UCL but for epl we will surely bottle the position we are suppose to finish because our coach na anywhere belle face in tactics We will ride on the tactics till injury or teams find us out then we will start managing But if he can tweak formation and man mgt we might just win the epl
Don't forget players like saka, odegaard will play till they are worn out
This is not me hyping Havertz o but his signing alongside Raya's might be a plan B devised by Arteta. Now, we have the required players to either go long or build up from the back. None of our rivals are up to us as far as squad strength is concerned. Infact, Arteta has no excuse not to win EPL this season. If he fails, he should be sacked. As for UCL, I dey give am semifinals at least.
As for your last paragraph, he has a large pool of players now so rotation should not be difficult. The only two players having inferior backups are Saka and Ode.
iamoyindamola: Comrade apart from mostob nobody could chest beat and predict what we will be competing for These were the same people that was renovating quotes saying we were fighting apari and all sort Miracle no they tire jesus true true
UCL and EPL. If we win EPL and crash out at Rof16 in UCL, na still failure o. Na that UCL I wan make we try and win. All the big teams are now having one issue or the other.
Izurejoice: i think Raya is the better keeper, he may start from the bench but he will bench Ramsdale before the season ends
To be frank, both are good. Raya just has better ball distribution which is important for Artetaball next season. Dele usually panicks under pressure compared to Raya.
