I get your point about Omeruo and tbh I've always liked him, he has always been a complete professional who brings that veterans calmness to our defence when called upon, but I beg to differ on your take about Torunarigha, I've followed the Belgian league assiduously because of Gift Orban and Toru has invariably always seemed solid in defence for Gent whenever I watched him, not eror-prone and has a decent stat as well in the European conference league...I respect your opinion but I'll have Toru ahead of Omeruo right now cause I just feel the likes of Omeruo, Ekong, Balogun and to some extent Semi Ajayi have been part of that defensive structure for a long time and haven't particularly impressed. I'll rather have Balogun back over Omeruo cause he is our most intelligent defender even with his age.

Also for your strikers list, I feel if Adams Akor has a good season with Montpellier, Iheanacho might have to do better than the championship if he wants a chance with the NT, even Chuba Akpom that just joined Ajax should be in the mix depending on how his season goes.
What you said about Toru might be true... I've not watched him but let me remind you of Akpoguma. Same thing was said about Akpoguma before he made the switch. Guess what? Akpors can't still nail a spot in the national team despite how shamble out defence has been. I will support Joebie on this. Toru needs to come in and price himself.

You see that outside the box Curler/shot Saka scored, that's the thing I'm expecting from Martinelli to be good at. Honestly if they tell me 2yrs ago that Saka will be more proficient than Martinelli in outside the box shots, I would have doubted.

We need Martinelli to be proficient in it too. It's another good way of scoring goals against teams that park the bus especially as we'll be encountering them more this season
For our tactic to work, Martinelli has to stay high and wide. However, I still expect Martinelli to pop in with those types of goal occasionally but the guy no dey gree look up.

I looked at Hatvetz and i can't understand why he didn't go for Barnes of Leicester.

I can't see how harvetz will improve that team.

Our scout let us down and MA didn't do his homework well in this purchase.
Calm down... What are the similarities between Barnes and Havertz? Do you think we just sign player for signing sake. We needed that height upfront to enable us play directly and Arteta went for Havertz. Can Barnes provide such skillset?

After that friendly against Arsenal and Xavi was criticizing Arteta and Arsenal players, I told someone that Barcelona is addicted to indomie football. grin grin

Not justifying the rubbish display the ref put up yesterday but Xavi and the boys must learn how to be aggressive too. However, they must do it with sense if not red card go plenty. It is time to toughen up.

How we went from a comfortable situation to building tension for ourselves is just laughable. No be say I dey brag o but immediately Cooper removed Aina and two other defenders, I told the guy sitting beside me that Arteta should move Partey back to midfield and bring in Gabriel. Moments later, Elanga did us bad thing. Arteta's in-game management still need improvement. And FFS, he should play Trossard and ESR more. Those two guys has the ability to unlock defences. Enough with too much romance ...

Lavia is 50m. He is 19. Liverpool will be wise to just collect him.
You don't get me. If Chelsea later sign Caicedo, Lavia will be Liverpool's last resort. Since they already bidded 110m for Caicedo, Southampton will do everything to exploit them by increasing the price of Lavia.
