The way Nketiah and Gabriel Jesus quickly build a strong rapport through the phone call celebration is just amusing. Gabriel scored yesterday and he gestured at Nketiah while doing the phone call celebration.

BTW, Someone said Gabriel Magalhes is a giant....wetin we go call Saliba abeg? The guy get frame abeg....White better watch his back.

Don't worry, Zinchenko is coming. And even at that all the injuries are minor from what Arteta said. They should all be back in training this week... Tierney, White, Tomi and Viera.

I think we're covered at the back for now... Gabriel is fit, Saliba is here, with Zinchenko coming...we are good.
Seriously it is annoying. The guy dey vex me.

I don't understand, why do we still want to sign a winger? I read somewhere that Arsenal was interested in Sane, then I saw another update claiming we made enquiries about Wolves' Neto and Barnes of Leicester.

I'm confused, wetin we wan use all these wingers do? We get Saka and Martinelli that are favorites to start on both wings, we have deadwood Pepe that is still on our books, we just signed Maquinos, We get Nelson that also plays on the wings..... Shey we wan use all of them dress shop?

Why not just sign another striker or midfielder instead? Considering that even Jesus can still play as a winger sef. huh
Arteta wants 2 quality players in each position. ESR is not a complete winger and Pepe may leave together with Nelson. Probably why we want to sign another winger.

Isn’t it strange that this is the only match where she’s been penalized for foul throws in this tournament, yet she's been throwing the ball the exact same way?
It’s obvious it’s the lines-person that needs the coaching.
God bless you. I noticed a lot of foul throw in that Senegal's match so I was surprised when Tony's throws were penalised. Fact is these match officials are more educated than one another.

The nff and jpes should swallow their pride and go all out for the likes of uduokhai, torunarigha ,adarabioyo then recall akpoguma to the team. All these washed up CBs currently in the team should be discarded gradually. Awaziem, omeruo, ekong and balogun bye bye

It’s time to start building towards 2024 afcon and 2026 world cup
I agree about adding these guys to the squad but which pride should the NFF swallow? But we approached them, na Dem dey do shakara.

I think Arteta want to bring in new players first before letting the like of Bellerin and AMN go. Also, he may still be looking for diamond among those toughs if one or two of his targeted players doesn't get signed.

Looks like Arsenal have joined the Basset chase.
It's a rumour. Not true.. Arsenal is about to sign Zinchenko. And also, about 4 CBs were sent on loan already including a LCB. And If true, Bassey should join Ajax instead, he will be coming to be the 5th choice at Arsenal.

The Moroccans have for the most part have a free ride in this competition. Facing Nigeria will be their first big challenge. Like you said, only terrible officiating will give them the edge.
A ref denied Tunisia a debatable penalty yesterday, they almost punch her grin
Let's just hope the ref will be fair.

Don't underrate the Zambians yet. I'm expecting Zambia in the final.
It's the other way round. That match against Senegal shouldn't have dragged to penalties. Zambia I stronger than this. I know they're missing Banda but I expected them to perform better than this. Anyway, let's wait and see....

The referee may likely be biased against Morocco and that is another problem....They may win set pieces in dangerous areas...
Yea sure...we just have to take our chances and not create any loophole (unnecessary fouls).

Ucheibe and Ayinde have been clean enough in Midfield so i don’t think we have problem in that aspect as our defenders are doing well too..

The ability of Ucheibe and Ayinde to cover more ground have also been helpful to our Defence..

I would suggest Randy play Kanu, Onumonu and Ajibade upfront, then bring in Ordega for Kanu to Finnish up the mess upfront cause her pace will do us a lot of good as soon the Moroccan defence are tired…

Anyway Monday Gift over Vivian as Substitute for now..

Otu over Chikwelu to help clean up the Midfield…
And if anybody is to come in for Okobi, Peace Efih it is.

The Morocco side attack a lot from their left side, Payne and Ohale can handle that couple with the Assistance from the Midfielders..
The inverted RW who scored the first goal against Botswana looks more dangerous to me. Their LB too is kinda tricky. They use both wings but we should play them in Midfield.
Sports › Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by mostob(m): 11:53am On Jul 15, 2022
The two things that can favour Morocco is the home advantage and set piece.
For the former, I believe our girls should have no problem but the latter is the main problem.

Now, for the main play, Morocco's strength is in wing play and with our solid FBs, our fiery wingers (helping out in defence too), we should have no problem countering them.

I don't want to be overconfident but with Ucheibe's form, Ayinde in her top form, we should more than match them in Midfield. My only concern is Okobi. She will be doing more than ball holding in that match. We will need her to deliver the key passes and even make scoring attempts. Onumomu will match them physically but her pace is a concern.

All in all, I'm positive about that match but the officiating huh Hmmmm

[b]You saw that too baami. She matched them power for power and strength for strength. Then i notice Ajibade is also quit powerful for her stature and the Cameroonians struggles to mark her whenever she had the balls. I really enjoyed yesterday’s game till Rita was introduced. Rita has lost it completely.
Peace Efih should have come in and not Rita. Rita should just retire after this AWCON. She has paid her dues. The friendly against US will determine if Ebi should retire too because we won't be playing the like of Burundi and Botswana in the WC.

Even her movement and composure is topnotch. She’s really good.
Exactly...there was this ball she won close to the touchline..with 2 cameroonians on her, I was expecting her to just Nick the ball out for throw-in but she cleanly held and executed a perfect turn while holding out the 2 players and gave (forgot who) a pass. Like I said, if it is allowed, this girl will partner Ndidi effectively for the SE cheesy grin grin

Please where is that lady that assisted oshoala at the Wc...and also is ngozi ebere retired??
Okeke was the one who gave the pass to Oshoala. She was playing for Madrid before she got injured. She made the preliminary squad but not the final squad. Ngozi Ebere is either out of football or she is injured. Been long I heard anything about her. But I'm not worried sha, if Pat can be added to this squad and with the Payne's, we will be fine.

You're very Correct, At 21 she's better than how she's been rated. A fine replacement for Rita Chikwelu...

I think Randy should just stick to the Midfield trios of Ucheibe, Ayinde and Okobi.... Then look for a better replacement for them

Should I say Regina Otu, Chinaza Uchendu and One of this girl's from the U20. If Peace Efih and Amanda Mbadi get better they can as well earn their spot...
Thought Uchendu is a forward. huh
