Idiko1: The bolded are very questionable while the listed below are must participants. Okobi Kanu How is Gift inclusion questionable? That girl is something else. Ajibade has the pace and passes, Kanu has the positioning, Ordega has the pace. Gift can dribble, fast and she has the passes too. She is raw though but she is in contention for World cup please. |

If Arteta is going for Grimaldo, we should let him. BTW, Arsenal's link to Grimaldo might just be a smoke screen. We're after Vitinha then before we signed his teammate. |

Nicole and Tony sef....they look alike and still play alike though Toni is more intelligent...
I have been impressed by the way Nnadozie always look calm even when catching shots...
Nice game though I was expecting more goals in the second half...
Cameroon in QF is kinda scaring me a bit...those girls are too physical..
Botswana may lost as everything is against them as per host wey Dem dey play...
Okobi, Rita and MacLean are really underperforming... Uchendu, Okoronkwo and Ariyo may just sneak in at their expense... |

daveP: The two strikers of South Africa are injured. I hope that doesn't affect them. Beauty of that side is anyone can be in a scoring position but they are slack in the box,But good in buildup. Kgatlana and Seoponsewe are injured. The injuries look a bit serious as both limped out. |

lovewins: From this picture we can deduce Regina Otu is starting and Rita Chikwelu and Alozie isn't.
This was how I knew Rita was starting the first game, she had same training gear as the regular starters. Anyone putting on the extra vest is likely starting Alozie will start. Though I'm not writing off your assumption as we are already in quarter final, the coach may want to rest Alozie. |

Android17: Let me correct this. Partey has always been a muslim. He did not change his name because of a woman, he may have decided to adopt a more Arabic name but the man has always been a Muslim. The Thomas name should not confuse people just the same way Paul Pogba is a Muslim and has always been one even though he is named Paul. Wow....I didn't know this. The Thomas I his name made me conclude he was formerly a Christian |

carbonado: The last 20 + mins of the game was very fluid i am sure the South African will be watching that our match against botswana, and hoping we played a draw, so the y kick us out of the tournament by going to playing a draw with botswana in the 3 match. Also the last 20 mins will tell the south Africans that, Nigerian tem have great players, however it selection that is a problem, so they no to watch their back, they can take the Aisha buhari cup, we would take the AWCON very fluid...I was shocked TBH...I had to check if it was the falcons that was playing |

lovewins: Bro, you're being disingenuous. What "errors" are you referring to? First, it's clear to everyone that Ashleigh was played out of position, but she despite that put up an A game. Yes the first goal was as a result of her being beaten by her man, but she made efforts to slow down the South African, so our next man can stop the ball comfortably which Sadly Ebi didn't do. Any sincere person obviously wouldn't absolve her of responsibility from the first girl, but neither will Ebi be absolved. She as responsible as Ashleigh was.
We can't also say she hasn't "shown" she is better. She's had a few games for the Falcons some of which she's being played out if position and she's done very well in my opinion. This takes nothing from Ebi. She's obviously the most experienced and she's also done very well for us the last 2 games.
If I were the coach, I'll play Ebi and Ashleigh and bench Ohale. Good... Now, let me ask you,had it been Ebi was the one who made the mistake for South Africa's first goal, would you have written such a long post to defend her? The last time Ashleigh played as a centre back for us, I don't see how she is better than Ebi honestly. Anyway, Ebi will likely retire soon so the CB will soon be Ashleigh's. |

lovewins: Toni Payne is noth an LB. If we meet a team with very mobile wingers we'll be punished cause we'll be left exposed most if the time. But when we meet lower ranked team I think we can stick to this strategy.
One thing has become obvious, the super falcons lacks wingers. So far all we have her makeshifts. We need to get true wingers into the team.
It' how many times were we left exposed yesterday? If you watch the match yesterday, you'd notice both FBs rarely attack at the same time. Forget it chief... No winger in Africa can get the better of the Tony I watched yesterday. |

Samueltemi337: Toni Payne should Mount that LB position from now on
but it seems she links with ordega Better
Ashleigh Plumptre can start ahead of ohale I agree on Tony Payne mounting the LB but that should be on the short run. She is too intelligent to play the LB for us. We need her upfront. |

semid4lyfe: I agree cos it'll be suicidal to play two slow centre backs
I think Ebi is better than Ohale so I'll rather bench Ohale for Ashleigh Plumptre.
My back four would be Payne (LB), Plumptre (LCB), Ebi (RCB) and Alozie (RB). Ohale is actually the fastest of the trio. Ebi is likely the slowest but when last has she made a mistake leading to goal? |
