Ebuehi is good at both RB and RWB..He is a better RB than Aina..

As for our wingers, Onyekuru is probably the only one not good defensively...can't say for Chuks cus he hasn't played much...But I'm sure Rohr will fix that...Simeon used to be poor defensively until Rohr changed that (starting from the Cameroon game)..

Trust me there's no need for a 3-5-2 ...

We can't be parking the bus against teams that aren't better than us!
OK...

3-5-2 keh?

Aina is probably the only member of the squad that needs the formation to perform better... Others are quite comfortable with the 4-2-3-1 ..

3-5-2 will means more defensive play and it would limit our wingers performance
What of Ebuehi, I think he is more comfortable at RWB than RB. And most of our wingers are not that good defensively..

am happy for them. Those guys show character. They were just undone by poor finishing and poor defence. The moment the ref gave the Niger their useless penalty, I became a Burundi fan.

If you get passes you will test the players. Auba and Lacazzete had to play as midfielders because there was no connection. Who was supposed to be the creative outlet? Iwobi abi and he failed woefully at it
Iwobi, creative outlet? Are you sure you watch the game. Iwobi's role today was to help Lichtensteiner out. If he was used as the creative outlet ,he would have play on the left.

Skysports rating

: Leno (7), Lichtsteiner (6), Kolasinac (7), Mustafi (6), Monreal (6), Koscielny (7), Torreira (6), Guendouzi (7), Iwobi (5), Aubameyang (6), Lacazette (7)

Somehow you are telling me that Iwobi was the fourth best player on the pitch. Bro that is sentiments from you and nothing else
That rating is a joke ...

Do you trust the club to replace those two adequately?? See the pipes Emery is getting linked to...Nkunku, etc.
I'd be disappointed if Denis Suarez ends up being Ramsey's replacement.
I think we should wait till summer . Let's hope the owners get some sense by then.

Suarez used to get game time last season. But this season you have Malcolm and Coutinho as the first players of the bench, there is no way he is getting into that team. But his quality isn't the problem at all

You are as good as your last match bro

Aside the Fulhams and Huddersfields, every body knows the true test of Arsenal was going to be this game and individuals are going to be assessed by this game

Iwobi dissapointed really
Man city game? full test? I beg to disagree bro. Most arsenal fans already rules out arsenal's victory with those defensive injury crises.

Both have not gotten a consistent run of games. They are our two most talented midfielders yet Emery is picking "hardwork and industry" over quality.
What about last season, were they not starters, tell me there contributions. Ozil is earning 350k per week and he always get ridiculous excuses when big game is approaching. His body language at times is just.....

In the last few games, Iwobi has consistently been amongst Arsenal's best player. Silence!!

One bad game and everyone comes with their daggers.

Last week, he changed the game for Arsenal, no comments. He was Arsenal's best player against Liverpool, silience.

The boy can not win.. Everyone is waiting for a mistake or a poor game to crucify him.
God bless you bro...God bless you. Help us tell them the truth

Arsenal's problem is the defence and Emery's stubborn nature. If we're being honest - dude has treated Ramsey and Ozil like shit and for someone that's meant to be this super flexible tactician - he has been a disgrace.
As for Suarez - I've always viewed him like an Iniesta type of player. Good close control, etc but he doesn't seem like he can carry the ball over a long distance.
I can't wait for Emery's contract to expire at the end of next season so he can take his nonsense and leave.
And are Ramsey and Ozil not poo? Ramsey especially.

Mickael2:
Then you really haven't watched Suarez well enough. Dude can dribble, like he seriously can dribble, he has an end product more than Iwobi and he is more creative, considerably more creative. I think Iwobi is only better at short passes because Suarez would always want to penetrate naturally.

However I would say a 4-4-2 would suit Arsenal a lot more. Have a midfield 4 of pure workhorses, say Guendozi, Torreira and some other person that actually works hard, then plug in Ozil behind the strikers, that way his defensive deficiencies will be totally and completely masked while his creativity will be something else. With Auba and Lacazzete ahead of Ozil I see nothing but goals and more goals. Suarez can fit the Ozil role perfectly too(maybe eceb slightly better because he can dribble more than Ozil, though less creative obviously). Bellerin is a Barca product, he is naturally a wingback even when playing as FB then play with one wingback and another stagnant fullback more like what Barca used in 2008 when Abidal was the stagnant full back, when Bellerin pushes forward let Guendozi drop in as the third CB then one of the CBs, obviously the quicker and more astute CB(in 1-v-1 situations should be the roaming CB.
I do not buy into this assumption that Arsenal does not have good enough players, a team with Ozil, Auba and Lacazzete should be guaranteed 2-5 goals every weekend.
I don't think Ozil can start any game again.Do you know why? Because he is lazy. With what you wrote above ,why doesn't Suarez get game time at barca?

Since they have already explained to you that Iwobi was not the wingback today I believe that shows that either you didn't watch the match, or you did so with tinted glasses. Iwobi was more of a side midfielder today, not a winger though.

Now that we have that out of the way let me say again that Iwobi was supposed to be the creative outlet in this game, he touched the ball enough times to at least create one chance but he didn't.

By the way the comment I made was a general comment, not because of this game at all.
how exactly do you want Iwobi to create something today? Do you even watch the match? There was a moment Matteo drives forward but there was no player to pass to and he loses possession. Iwobi 's main job was to help Lichtsteiner out. The few times arsenal have ball, how many times did they pass to Him?

Iwobi doesn't even help himself, he doesn't pass on time, he holds the ball as long as possible, tries a few dribbles and passes back or sideways

As a fan that's got to hurt
because there was no option. Bro,Iwobi plays poorly today,I agree but it was down to poor partnership. Even Kolasinac was poor to. Iwobi is young and will only develop. We should cut him some slacks jare.
