Information can be passed via Facebook or Twitter even on Whatsapp( DSS recruitment).

If you have been following the NCS page on FB for some time now, you will observe that on every informative post from the handle, there are always numerous comment intending to get information regarding the recruitment exercise

The content of the message is not dubious and it is in response to those numerous questioning from the NCS Applicant.

I do not doubt the authenticity of that FB account.

We appreciate all those who are asking to know about the recruitment exercise. Yes this one is longer than usual due to situation beyond our control.
Remember after the aptitude test which was conducted by JAMB, the Service was compiling and getting set to invite the successful candidates for interview and other physical checks when Coronavirus virus struck.
With gradual relaxation setting in now, NCS will release the invitation at the appropriate time.
In this unfortunate situation, patience is key. Remember that the process is electronically driven, so you can be rest assured of transparency inline with the stand of CGC Hameed Ali.
The delay is in the best interest of everybody's health.
This recruitment exercise will definitely be taken to its logical conclusion.

truly,someone sent a link that the attitude test result is out. i went to the site which was a prototype of the official custom site. it requested for my application ID,email and phone number. that's how i got this scam message.

You are right, the message is not by posting your email or phone number online. It’s a link and once you click it, it will definitely send you a congratulatory message that you are qualified. It look real, one has to be careful

We dey hear say it has been suspended temporarily because they are short of funds and can’t pay newly recruit and some said it has been postponed till next year.

You guys talk things with so much confidence on hearsay ok, let me tell you something that happened in the last DSSC army screening at Ibadan I saw 2 guys who were sent letter of recommendation by the senator representing them the man is the senate committee chairman on customs, I saw the letter myself that came with his official stamp.
He wrote their names together with their application number. The application number is more important than name because that's what they id one with as there are possibilities that many people can answer the same name. You think any connect will water his/her time to hussle apl when the person haven't done his homework? they don't even have that time and moreover they won't want to do anything that will backfire and their political opponents will use against them.
It might have happened in FRSC but you see Army, NCS, DSS, Police you must register first

I applied for Navy DSS last year and when the shortlist came out...
Bet me you....3 names followed each other....same surname, first name and middle name...as mine...we followed each other.....the only thing that could differentiate us is the ref number....So is what would make who ever your conne is to differentiate you from others....


Mind you no one will be dragging you up and down visiting offices, not even your printout and they are not in charge of collating...... all they will ask is your ref number.... That they will send to them subordinates in charge of collation....this will help them slot you in at any point in time.....

Or you think say na only your recruitment that senator wan work on...

Afterall the DSS final list came out. I’m talking of what happened in Frsc. Im talking from experience and I still stand on my words.
And if you are talking about Senators they only submit names and they will be the one to hand over the apl to their candidates.

but the fact remain say.....for them room on them phone or laptop....them visit portal like everyone and also register account, upload biodata and documents just to generate ref number like everyone.... After then them no get stress again till office....
