Let me introduce myself, my name is Kosi Eric, yah That's my real name, I'm a Physics student in my finals right now in a state-owned university in Nigeria.


Late last year, I started working on a platform I knew would become very useful to Nigerians, before I started working on it, I had to do a mini-survey to find out if I wouldn't end up wasting my time and the survey came back with a 100% positive feedback.

To cut the long story short

right now, the Platform is out, and I believe some of you are using this platform already because I happen to have spent time spamming on Nairaland and I'm sorry for that, and Analytics shows a lot of the visitors come back to the website.

Right now I'm stuck with funding, I don't have the capital to pay for Ads, I've looked up Angel Investors in Nigeria, and there seems to be None
that is active at the moment, Then I decided to check if I could Signup for Y Combinator but the next round of investment is next year, which is "Winter 2020" and that's kinda too far for me, what I need at the moment is massive publicity.

It is pure display of inferiority complex, slave mentality, colonial submission and tragic foolery to validate an African leader based on invitation to a meeting. Feeling shamelessly excited because your President shook or hugged another human being who happened to be elected the president of another country is just going too low. As Africans, we sure have our demons like the other races do but we are definitely NOT inferior though we are different.

By the way, the REALITY of G-7 meeting is that the invitations extended to select African leaders are mere TOKENISM done to fulfil global political correctness. Otherwise, why is that these OUTSIDERS are only allowed to attend brief inconsequential interactions and then HERDED OUT for a PR world media photoshoots? The truth is no 'free lunch' will come from these superpowers without gaining much more in return.

But when his mood start which is his mood most of the time, he won’t talk to you, he won’t eat. I will finish cooking, he will go outside and buy another food and come and cook. lol, if python nor be java mate, then who come be java mate na? As at now, python and java are the two most popular languages in the world, and python job offers on indeed recently overtook java to become no 1.
So while l do not agree that java is dying, l think python has good reasons for being so popular, even as popular as java.
Also, pandas and numpy(both written in c) are fast enough for most data science projects, so speed is not really a problem in python, at least for data analysis and numerical computations. Also django as a web framework is great in terms of speed and everything.
l think python only lags behind java in its lack of static typing.
The good thing with python though, is that being easy hasn't made it any less powerful, but then again, the most important thing is that one should use the tool he/she knows best.

Popularity is not same as relevance, I'm sure you do know that.

I don't know what this one is saying,Java is the king when it comes to high-level programming, Java is an improvement to the complexity of C/C++ as far as enterprise application is concerned, Java remains the king.

Python is the de facto standard for teaching programming to beginners and has established its grounds when it comes to Data science/machine learning, but know this, 99% of the machine learning libraries in python are written in C/C++, python is just there as an interface because of it's easy readability, and easy-to-learn syntax.

Python is a very easy-to-learn programming language, but please please and please don't compare it to Java, dem no be mate, at least for now, I haven't even talked about speed
