I wanted to be an Engineer though my dad, a German trained Metallurgical Engineer ( possibly the first in Naija) preferred Medicine and Engineering as 2nd choice. I ended up doing Physics( u know Naija and the way universities dish out courses) , I plan doing Nursing later though.....anyway, Naija seems to be a dream killer land somewhat.

Just curious, what gender??

M sorry , so u don't know java at all ?

Okay, let me answer your question accurately,
When I'm asked what languages I code with, I simply answer "PHP and JavaScript", if I'm asked if that's all I say, " No of course", but I know many languages just that those are the major languages I find myself coding all the time.

Programming is all about solving problems, languages are the tools, once you understand the problem you're solving, learning the language wouldn't be a challenge.

Now let me give you the answer you're expecting.

PHP
JavaScript (Vue,React,Node)
Python(Django)
Dart(Flutter)
Java(Just for fun)

It's really difficult to tell, but honestly full stack would be better, cos I believe they'll pay you more if you're a back end developer that's where the business logic is.

It depends, maybe you can learn HTML, CSS and JavaScript with your Android device, cos that's how I started back then, 5 years ago with my BB curve 7, beyond that, you really need a laptop or Desktop.

Politics / Re: "Buhari: A Public Servant On A Private Visit With Public Money" by MountainView: 6:59am On Nov 01, 2019
festacman:
I read this article and found it a bit petty.

With Nigerian economy experiencing and exiting recession induced by looting of public funds and faced with deteriorated infrastructure to drive the economy as well as declining oil prices to fund the running of the economy adequately, the onus rests on the President Buhari shortly after assuming office in 2015 to design steps to renew the dying infrastructure and diversify the economy away from dependency on oil. Part of plan of action designed was reach out to more advancement economies to help us, which require diplomatic shuttles and bilateral talks at Head of State level rather than ministerial level. It is the person who needs help that visit the people who will help him and not vice versa.

Interestingly, if President Buhari had decided to delegate rather than travel to personally attend the numerous international economic fora or visit friendly countries to explore mutual economic interests, many of his critics would have made so much noise about his lack of requisite social and diplomatic skills as president. By the way, President Buhari is not usually lone Head of State at these conferences, which means the President or Prime Ministers of many other countries travel too.

What put Nigeria in its current bad shape economically did not come from presidential diplomatic engagements but from insincere leaderships and selfish politicians and civil servants who stole money meant for critical projects.

The fact is that as the President, Buhari has the responsibility to do what he considered best as far as the constitution allows to strengthen the economy and improve the quality of life of Nigerians in the long term.

Moreover, having experienced and survived a strange ailment that took him away for several months, the scheduled private visit to UK is necessary for his well-being and is undertaken as part of his entitled annual vacation period.

Ironically, although 90% of former members of military ruling councils and their fronts as well as politicians and their cronies who raped Nigeria and squandered the massive wealth made oil boom did not travel much but the money they stole travelled far and wide into their foreign bank accounts.

In other words?

They are not given any chunk by any telecommunication provider or ISP it's just part of their business model, get more users first.

When you have investors Willing to put millions of dollars in a business, just know that profit won't be the main focus, but user engagement.

Meanwhile, there is nothing wrong in asking any question even if it sounds stupid, no one knows it all.

Romance / Re: They Won't Know Your Value Until They Lose You by MountainView: 11:40pm On Oct 30, 2019
binarymachine:
In life, the availability and presence of something everywhere lowers its value and makes it cheap. This makes it easy for people to play with it, use it as careless as they please and even waste it. Lets take PMS( petrol) for example, people only realise how important it is when there is scarcity of it. They queue up, fight, curse at the government and beg to get it. When they eventually do, they use it wisely and judiciously. This is the same liquid they run their generating sets with till dawn when it was available.

In relationships however, you have no choice but to make yourself available, since you need to be physically present to show them you love and care for them. Besides, Love grows well with physical presence. As you play, laugh, cry, talk, build intimacy and spend quality time together, the bond gets stronger and the affection thicker.

The problem comes when one partner begins to underappreciate the presence of the other in their life. You have made yourself available, put in your whole heart to the growth of the relationship. You have loved, worked, sacrificed, provided, fended for, tended to, cooked, cleaned, washed, spent money, even quarrelled and waded off friends and family all because of them and still your good is not enough! They don’t seem to see what you are doing for them, infact any person could have easily done so. They rarely thank you for your sacrifices and instead deny or belittle the ones you have done in the past. Its time to make your self scarce like petrol in their life!

Put the whole relationship on suspension, separate yourself from them, let them miss and yearn for you for a while and even as long as possible. They are taking you for granted because they think you are too cheap and weak to walk away. Let them find another person to do all the things you do for them, tolerate their rubbish and still not be appreciated, that is when they will realise that they have made a big mistake, that they had gold in their hands and failed to recognise it.

People do not know the value of what they have until they loose it or it feels as if they have lost it. It will be hard for you, you love them so much but for your self worth and dignity, take that walk and give them time alone as long as possible. If possible give them a little of the treatment they gave you before walking.

If they realise their mistakes on time and come to ask for your forgiveness genuinely, accept and give your favourable terms before going back. If they are too blind to realise your worth in their life, you were probably worth nothing to them all these while, good you left. Start afresh and build your life again this time making sure you correct the mistakes you did in the previous one.
