Oga when next u need people's opinions endeavor to give full details. What is the name of d investment? Which company? That's for a starter...

Then my advice, don't put money that would affect u. Take ur capital, use the returns to reinvest, keep recycling it like that little by little..don't be greedy, that was what ruined my people during MMM. Best of luck

Okay, thanks. the site name is Snoott, the thing I noticed about the platform is people who use it, keep it secret to themselves, maybe because they don't want people to come and ruin it, and I don't think it's a Ponzi scheme I credited my wallet with my debit card, and they also have a verification process to avoid multiple user registration.

but I just dey fear that's the reason why I had to create this thread.

Thanks for your advice anyway, I'll like more advice

Don't and Never make the Mistake of Venturing into something based on Financial Gains.

We expect Our Hubby or Work to Pay our Bills but venturing or choosing a Career path based on Financial Gains is a failure from Start.

Agriculture is Large and Lucrative enough all you need is to be Creative in Thinking. You can even be Self employed with Less Headaches and on small Scale and grow from there while you Learn the ropes.

You're an Agric student, you should be looking for something within such axis except you're confident Your knowledge in Computers is above Basic and Have Problem Solving Skills which is very important.

Science related Occupations/Professions require above basic Problem Solving Skills and Determinations to make any headway as You can rely on Superstitious beliefs.

If your True interests in Computing stems from the adverts and mouther watering things You see Online, just don't waste your time. It's same with almost every profession and occupations BUT in most Science related Professions, you can't hide behind Certifications and the likes.

...and if you really honestly want to put in what it takes, then a Good starting point is Identifying what area in Computing you're more comfortable in - Some of Us are Server administrators, Designers, Programmers, etc.

Computing is very wide and you just can't belong to everywhere.

You need to do research to understands the different Areas of Computing and where you can fit in.

if you're naturally good with Designs, Graphics or Web Design (don't mistake it for Web Development) or other Design oriented aspects of computing should be your starting point.

if good with Solving problems, coming up with solutions, Programming should be where you look at though if you're good in other angles, you can decide which to choose from.

Understand it takes time to get enough knowledge to even satisfy the Most Basic requests of a Client. Don't be in a Hurry, just be serious about it and you wouldn't know when You're already Servicing clients.

Never relate with Cobblers parading as Web Developers - some have fancy Offices and some even run Lectures. I refer to Cobblers as those who all they know is Download ready-made Plugins, themes, Modules, etc and Couple them together.

Also forget about Certifications even if you intend working in cooperate organizations. You can't hide behind Certificates in this Line of Field.
No One Learns Computing attending WorkShops. You can't Learn computing and be averagely Proficient in it in Less than 1-year.
You learn enough to start attending to Basic projects and learn from there. In other words, you get better everyday as you solve more problems.

A Good Lawyer or Doctor or Mechanic or Whatever even if it's an Electrician didn't get so Good under 3-years. it took them years out of which the Doctor must have killed some Patients, the Lawyer must have Lost some Cases, the electrician must have spoilts some electronics, the mechanic must have damaged some Engines, etc but as long as they kept learning from their Mistakes, they kept improving.

Today there's Windows 10 and there's IPhone 11 but these weren't there starting points. They kept improving and learning to get to where they are today.

If you decide to attend Tutorials/WorkShops (which you can even get free Online), take it as an Introductive Guide and nothing more.

Pay Money to No One. From my calculation, all it should cost You is Your PC (Laptop / Desktop) and Mobile Data (₦500 should be enough for a Month since this would be the Learning stage with less Real Projects. Need to download Large files, do such at Night from a friend or using a Plethora of Cheap Night Data plans which are as low as ₦25 ).
You don't even need an expensive PC. Any would do till you out grow it's strength.

Once again, make no mistake of Starting or going into anything primarily for Monetary Gains especially if it's Science related because there would sure be a Time when things would get Tough. It's your WHY that would keep or Stop you Moving ahead.

I don't LIVE on Nairaland and only comes around once in a while. I might never see subsequent responses even if it's a mention.

Goodluck and Bye for Now

This guy just answered your question
Programming / Re: Is There Any Big Programming Companies Like Google In Nigeria?? by MountainView: 2:19pm On Nov 30, 2019
At first you might need a team of experienced developers who would work as freelancers for your project, but the thing is, the price they'd charge is dependent on the complexity of your project...maybe you're thinking its complex just because of your little to no experience in programming related stuffs or just maybe it is more complex that you actually think it is, either way I can help you out, so you won't have to deal with overpriced cost of development.

I'm not saying I'll develop your idea for you, nope.

Daylight robbery ko. Night time burglary ni.

PDP has no choice than to "take am like dat".

We all witnessed how PDP did their many abracadabra too. In fact, APC is still a learner where PDP dey operate.

Let me give a few examples of past PDP wayo-wayo victories:

1. Wike "scoring" over 280,000 votes in his local govt (but awarded about 7k votes to his opponent) to be re-elected in 2019 when the presidential election didn't record a fifth of that votes in same LG.

2. PDP procuring court judgment to deny APC in participating in Rivers gubernatorial election.

3. Many instances during OBJ and GEJ where PDP would record 100% voters turnout in their strongholds and award 99% of the total votes to themselves. We saw the same trend even in 2015 and 2019 general elections.

4. I don't know if any party has killed innocent electorate for daring to align with an opposition party than PDP in Rivers, Bayels and othe SS/SE regions especially. We saw life photos of severed head of a grown APC leader (still struggling for life) in 2015. That gory image flashes back once in a while.

5. Maurice Iwu, working for PDP announced winner of presidential election while voting was still ongoing.

I can go on and on to prove that PDP deserves anything and everything that befalls it.

LASTLY, DEMOCRACY IS A SCAM FOR AFRICA, ESPECIALLY NIGERIA. WE ARE VERY MANIPULATIVE AND THAT'S HOW IT WILL REMAIN. LET NO ONE BE IN DOUBT!
So what are you trying yo say
Business / Re: 6gig Finish In One Night???? Airtel Is The Highest Armed Rubber In World!!! by MountainView: 1:19pm On Nov 16, 2019
Its actually 6Gig I do check my data usage consumption, and they give you exactly what you paid for.

And I'm talking about Airtel, can't speak for other ISP's

Some websites you visit are over 5MB, a website like YouTube will eat up somewhere around 6-10 MB on first visit, so be careful before you start accusing them of something you don't understand how it works.

meanwhile, I use over 12Gigabyte of data everyday, with multiple Airtel Sims, I download YouTube playlists.

Jack Ma Welcome to Nigeria.

If you were to be a Nigerian, there's a high chance you wouldn't become the Jack Ma we know today.

Before you quote me, just know that Jumia and their likes are making losses everyday in Nigeria.

I pray the move succeeds so when you put out any of those utterly sacrilegious posts condemning an entire people or religion just for the sake of politics, you'd be called to account and possibly dealt with to the full extent of the law.

Poor reptile.. always confirm the identity of a snake before you kill them. What you have there is harmless, in fact it's useful as it helps control rodents and pest. For it to be there shows you live in a very horrible and dirty environment. It's called a black rat snake.

And for you to spit this nonsense, it means you don't have sense.
