I don’t know why the Winner of Nigeria vs Cameroon is paired to meet the winner of South Africa vs Tanzania. This isn’t random at all and it’s giving Morocco privilege again, unfair!

Peseiro is trying to pass a message by starting Uzoho. (This is petty but I believe it will make us anti fragile) I hope Uzoho flops again and makes Peseiro look clueless cos this is a common sense thing not a matter of sentiments.

Oparanozie was fresh and had just one job to do, score! Nevertheless, even the best of of players do miss penalties. We leave to fight another day.
Like I said earlier, the English team is all hype nothing special about that team and our Super Falcons showed that today!
True talk!
Our girls were great.
True that the English were overrated, especially technically, but they’re good tactically, that was why we couldn’t win, I give them credit for that

Onyinizidane needs to be forced into the team.. Demehin was in-experience was too glaring.. so let Onyinizidane's, Ajakaye, Sebastine inexperience come and go quickly.
Randy invited them all in Japan about a year ago, he knows what he saw that made him go for Demehin & Abiodun and not them. They were all given equal chances

Players like Onyinizidane would have been very good in this world cup.

Oparanozie, Ordega and Ebi should never be invited again..
Lol, Gift Monday is even better than Oyenezide for now. Let players follow their normal course, if she proves herself, she’ll join the team.

One positive thing about the super falcons is what the future holds. Nicole Payne, Evelyn Ijeh, Rinsola, Ajakaye, Sabestine n co. It’s exciting! 😃.
Hopefully NFF doesn’t employ a coach that thinks like most of our fans on Twitter

Certainly. We played as a team. And we played like true competitors. Randy has given us a good platform to progress. The rest is left to the decision makers.
💯, but the decision makers are known for making bad decisions. Hopefully they don’t employ a cheap half baked coach that might cost us the Olympics as usual

Yeah, you’re right but this is one of the best defense so far in the World Cup tactically. The girls gave their best but these things just happen in life

At least you guys can now understand what Randy did against Ireland…!

He would told the girls to attack the Irish side and probably leave one or two space behind and would be punished by those Irish side that have nothing to lose, Look at how the Korean side held Germany down…

To me England is beatable, The Falcons should hold their ground.
If the falcons needed 3 points they’d have gotten it against Ireland, they obviously played for a draw. I’d always say this, female football team performance is driven more by determination and mindset than tactics. Don’t be surprised if the almighty Japan or even Sweden loses 3-0 to a determined team. And you’re right 💯 about England is beatable, will the girls turn uphuh Especially Oshoala and Ajibade... hopefully

People that were shouting SF should have wiped Ireland. Now, you guys can see how South Korea who has not to play for, about to end German's 2023 tournament.
Ireland played their worst game against us, we just gave them the most chance.

...what about Desire...is she not fit yet...
I heard she is, but I’m curious to know why you think Desire will be helpful in this game, I’ve also seen her as someone who plays best against smaller teams when we have most possession and someone who doesn’t fit rapid transition attack, but you seem to believe so much in her, just curious to know why

Not just a good defense... but a very good Goalkeeper...

Its Nnadozie that has been the savior of this team not the defense..

Sure, we classify goalkeepers as the defense too.

The truth is if Asisat Oshoala is 💯 fit, She will start as she’s the team star Player, her Presence alone on the field is a treat to the English team…

Just that I don’t like Onumonu coming from the bench…
Spot on bro. Onumonu can’t really trouble the English defense. She’ll just help in pressing and if we’re lucky to capitalize from a mistake from the English, she can score tap in goals. But Asisat hasn’t been able to live up to expectations when all eyes are on her, but you can’t rule her out yet. Big Dilemma for our coach. We seem to have a lot of choice in our attack on paper, but paradoxically in reality, we really have few options.

Fun facts:

Four Black-majority nations have now advanced to the knockout rounds at the WC. They are Nigeria, Cameroon, South Africa, and Jamaica!!

Also, Jamaica, Japan and Switzerland completed the group stage without conceding a goal
Mourinho was right, Defense is the key to being a successful team. I don’t think our attack is better than that of 2019, just organizing our defense has made us improve so much. Hope fully we improve it more alongside our pass accuracy before Monday’s game.

As it stands now, my ground on the Game between England and Nigeria is 50/50 … Anybody can win forget the England of a thing.. If we can remain Compact we can hold them to 120minutes draw and beat them on penalties which I know too well they ain’t that good at.. We can as well win the game within the 90minutes…
💯

Common na, maybe you’re watching another Ayinde,

Ayinde, Ucheibe nor da tire oooo, they’re full of energy and running.. They cover more ground than you would ever imagine.
Hmmm, you’re absolutely right but I’m not wrong either. I think we aren’t just communicating the same thing, look at the English players first touch vs how we mark, I’m just worried cos if fifa gives us a Crazy ref, might be bad

Or we stick to our 4-2-3-1, while Onyi Echegini comes in for Tony Payne as she moves to the Flank..

Nnadozie

Alozie ——Ohale —— Demehin——Plumptre

—-Ucheibe —- Ayinde—-

T. Payne —- Echegini —— Ajibade

—- Onumonu —-

Payne and Ajibade will be rotating both flanks as both can hold the ball very well, dribble and use their pace to cause havoc from the Flank, Echegini is an Attacking Midfielder who loves to have the ball at her feets because of her skills and excellent passing abilities, and she’s very good in the Air too as she can contest for a header during set pieces, if I were Randy I will start her at this stage.. If Echegini goes off, Kanu comes in and Payne move to the AM position.. Then Onumonu goes off for Asisat Oshoala..
By the way, what’s going to happen to James. Who’s gonna mark her, I bet Ayinde could get a red card if she’s assigned to James grin and Ucheibe would be too needed around the pitch to man mark Laura James. I don’t know sha....

She holds the ball way too long too, If she jam body with Ucheibe or Ayinde on several occasions body go tell her.. We just need to be way quicker on the Flanks too as Lucy Bronze tends to overlap a lot. Millie Bright gets erratic too especially when under a lot of pressure.. Maybe a 3-4-3 can work well against them

I will love to see Oshoala and Kanu or Monday for Onumonu and Kanu/Ordega at 60 Minutes depending on who and who starts...

Onyi Echegini is also an excellent player from the Flank, especially the Left side which she played for FSU through out last season.. Randy need to see to that.
Best I’ve seen so far, but it’s not defensive enough IMO. left to me I’ll put Payne in the front 3 in place of Kanu/ordega. We lack a reliable Left wing back that will be able to absorb those English wingers, big wahala.
Except we start Onome and Ashleigh plays wing back

Onomonu trending on Twitter. Guess what for?

Nigerians are saying she should have started ahead if Oshoala, even those who didn't fancy her before.

Sometimes we just have to accept we don't know better than the coach. All those who keep advocating for her absence can now see how important she is to the overall play of the team. Glad she sat out today to make that apparent.
💯, honestly what we do as fans is just “reacting”, I’m sure if Demehin had caused a goal, we’d have ruled her out and thought she isn’t capable. That’s why Randy Waldrum has earned my respect, he’s really playing the best possible team he can, while we stick to supporting as fans should.

Nah, from her interview with that podcaster that interviewed randy, she was worried and anxious about the permutations and possibility of playing England. Women football differs from Men’s own in the fact that mentality surpasses skills in determining performance, plumptre is not Iwobi and I’d rather not play her till she’s ready to give 💯
