Buhari did nothing outstanding in his youth as a head of state, I wonder how you guys expect him to do a miracle in his old age.

Nigerians has rejected him two good times. Suddenly some dudes took him up, polished him and sold him to us because they want to get block vote from the North and clinch power.

Even Buhari knew he was over-rated, reason he started off with apologies and plea for patience.

Who told you that? The guy is very cool headed unlike Saraki and admired by a lot of people. Saraki's arrogance and hyper-behaviour will cost him that seat.
The lawmakers already said they don't want a cool headed puppet. The want a president with independent mind and good leadership skills.

APC leadership forced Lawan on them, I wonder how they will do that in the NASS.

I just pray PDP play their card well. I'm very sure they will want to see Tinubu's influence cut down.

lalasticlala, why are you so mischievous? Why did you change the Original Title of the article to suit your whimsical project? The title says: "I thought Buhari Will hit the ground running" and the Op devilishly changed it to "Buhari is failing already" and you pretended as if you you didn't notice it! Tufiakwa!
What difference does that make?

Was the content of the article edited in anyway?

You need to be reading News from credible source. eg any national daily.
You are talking about meetings and appointments as if they are achievements, Anybody can sit down and do all that.

I am asking 'what is practically happening on ground?

What actions has set out, with hope for improvement?

The appointment is even laughable. 15 advisers and 2 media spokespersons. That is a total of 17 people whose job is to talk grin

Ok this is where we disagree, I'm not looking out to be disappointed. I just want a government that shows they care, I was very happy that Osinbajo went to Enugu to sympathize with the victims, this what I want to see. More important than those visits is using that opportunity to tell the populace what they intend to do to reduce such incidents in future. Going with the saying "Never let a crisis go to waste". With all the tanker accidents that's happened around the country I personally would have used that opportunity to talk about regulations we intend put forward with regards to safety especially concerning all these huge trucks. You see trucks that are supposed to be riding on 10 tires with 8, even the 8 are in bad shape. You see containers/tankers leaning over almost looking like they're about to fall over on the roads. When you put these things forward during a "tragedy" or series of tragedies, people that would normally oppose won't be able to

With all these terrorist attacks this would have been a good opportunity to start educating the populace on what to look out for and such because people will be more inclined to listen.

So again this is not about disappointment, this is about hoping for better more meaningful communication with citizens rather "I condemn this, I condemn that"
That's the problem I have with APC supporters. You all know what you want but you keep seeking for it from the wrong source.

You want communication in government but you didn't notice that PMB is not a good communicator during his campaign. He Neva spoke more than 3 minutes in all his campaign rallies.

I know you want the kind of public enlightenment Fashola put in place during the Ebola fight. But that didn't happen overnight. Fashola has been a good communicator from the days of his campaign and somebody that understand the power of the media.

You know what you want but PMB doesn't have it... that's the disappointment I am talking about.
Politics › Re: Atiku Visits The Jimeta Market Bomb Blast Site In Yola Earlier Today (photos) by mployer(m): 3:32pm On Jun 05, 2015
What is the basis for this visit?

As a president?

As a vice president?

or as a governor?

Why is he in a haste to do Buhari's duty?
Politics › Re: Scores Killed In Buhari’s First Week In Office: The Guardian by mployer(m):
mrmetoo1:
If we're being genuine and realistic, I really don't think there's anything the Buhari government could have done to prevent these attacks.

My problem however still is, I don't think we the citizens are still being carried along. We just got rid of a condemner-in-chief because we wanted an action man. What I'd expected so far is constant press releases with what they've done and the immediate next line of action. This gives the citizens some kind of assurance that the government is working. One of Buhari's first appointments were media men, one would have thought this meant communication with us was important.

I've always believed in fighting Boko Haram not only with fire power but also intelligence. Intelligence is not until we have CIA or FBI, all that needs to happen is education. Public service announcements telling the citizens what to look out for and who to contact. This could have started immediately especially through the spox. This again should start from the media ppl for now but should grow into a huge media campaign to create awareness.

I'm really not that silly, childish or unrealistic to think any problem really could have been solved in this first week I kinda expected to know a little bit more on the direction they're taking especially with this insecurity because Boko Haram sure isn't waiting for them to "settle" down.
The bolded is your first disappointment, more will come.

GEJ was in power and TANoids blamed GMB for the bomb blasts.

Now GMB now PMB is in power won't it be justifiable to blame GEJ for the blasts?
Why are TANoids saying Buhari should have stopped the bombing by now when we know how he has taken seriously this security issue. Have u forgotten his first foreign trips to Chad and Niger are based on this.
I am beginning to see that some people will die before their time of HBP because of PMB and they have also lost their sense of rationalism because of hate.
1. Buhari is a bokoharam sympathizer. He can't raise a finger against bokoharam. They know it and that is why they intensified their activities. Even one of bombers shouted 'Sai Buhari' before detonating the bomb.

2. His trip is more of fun to him. He is enjoying the accolades and ceremonial reception he is getting. Forget security discussions.

3. Hundreds are dieing in the North already and they don't have HPB.
