What a junk analysis and journalism to ascribe a week happenings to Buhari that has not even enters his office. The uncivilized way Jonathan handled the transition period is obviously creating dangerous gap in the country. He arrogated all authority and power to himself till the last day as if his life depended on it.

Under whose government were they killed?

it's pretty obvious that what ever cause Boko Haram are fighting for has nothing to do with whether being a Christian or Muslim. Am a Christian by religion and believe most of these people killed are Muslims and Boko Haram claim to be Muslims, so why kill ur fellow religion brothers and sisters? A Muslim Man is now the number one man in the country and why don't dey cease fire and dialogue? These people are confirm terrorist and should be wipe out of the surface of this nation by fire or by force with no MERCY.

If you add up the number of people killed and properties destroyed by Fulani herdsmen in the middle belt who have since upped their silent genocide since Buhari was sworn in, we will arrive at no less than a combined total of 1000.

Change!
when we add tanker explosion it will reach 1000000 that CHANGE

seriously the number of disasters that has happened in 1 wk is crazy. asides bona haram, the number of petrol tankers that have killed people in different parts of Nigeria in one wk is weird.
In Onitsha,In Akure, At Iyana Ipaja petrol tankers are crashing into public places and killing people. All in 1 week of inauguration.

quite weird.
and worrisome.

If we're being genuine and realistic, I really don't think there's anything the Buhari government could have done to prevent these attacks.

My problem however still is, I don't think we the citizens are still being carried along. We just got rid of a condemner-in-chief because we wanted an action man. What I'd expected so far is constant press releases with what they've done and the immediate next line of action. This gives the citizens some kind of assurance that the government is working. One of Buhari's first appointments were media men, one would have thought this meant communication with us was important.

I've always believed in fighting Boko Haram not only with fire power but also intelligence. Intelligence is not until we have CIA or FBI, all that needs to happen is education. Public service announcements telling the citizens what to look out for and who to contact. This could have started immediately especially through the spox. This again should start from the media ppl for now but should grow into a huge media campaign to create awareness.

I'm really not that silly, childish or unrealistic to think any problem really could have been solved in this first week I kinda expected to know a little bit more on the direction they're taking especially with this insecurity because Boko Haram sure isn't waiting for them to "settle" down.

The bolded is your first disappointment, more will come.

Power was never handed to the president.
The president and his team are missing - they have not appeared on live television since inauguration 7 days ago.

The so called trip to Chad is a ruse and likely occurred when we were told the president elect (as he was then) went to UK for 6 days. Although he did end up going to the UK, he made the visits to Chad and Niger first; not knowing his enemies planned to use the photos to deceive Nigerians.

Why are Nigerian news media not speculating about the incoming cabinet?

Some of you guys are using BH deaths to score some bizarre political point against the Govt (and invariably the Nation), same thing most of us (sane ones) were vehemently against when same was done during GEJ's time.

I can understand the urge to take on those FOOOLS and Hypocrites in APC, but shouldn't there be some sort of a line??
