Raziii: when the herdsmen killed a lot of ppl in Benue state, there was a cynical kind of silence from everywhere, that made me scared... Because i had a feeling we were gonna start having pocket of violence here and there. You may say it is not related but if you ask a security expert he will analyze the relationship to you. Something just isn't right about our country at the moment. There seems to be a lacklustre atitude towards the lives of people. I fully agree. What is happening is actually a subtle unravelling of the seams holding the Nigerian peoples together. Everyone is getting less concerned about the next person. |

warripekin: I don't believe there are more yorubas in the north than igbos. From my personal experience, I was able to traverse the entire north and I went from abuja to kano thru yo be to bauchi then jos. The Igboman as usual is everywhere. In kano, the whole of sabongeri, nomansland are dominated by igbos. Even kurna, France road, bompai, they are there. From my lodge in prince palace hotel in nasarawa, to Beirut where u find a lot of lebernese, Igbo are still there. Yorubas are kano especially Yoruba Moslems but they are not much and a lot of them have blended into the hausa community and majority are from kwara like I got to find out from my lawyer. In Bauchi, Igbo are ably present as usual in fact some of the cooks at the government house are Igbo. I met only one Yoruba deeper life pastor in bauchi. In jos, they are so much that an entire area in jos is known to belong to Igbo in fact my idoma driver speaks Igbo because he grew up there. Birom people will tell u, apart from hausas, the next largest settlers are Igbo, then idoma and tiv. Uhrobos in jos are even more than yorubas in population in jos. The same undp program, took me to Adamawa, nasarawa,Benue and taraba. And all these places, u have a large Igbo population and u can hardly see yorubas except corpers. In Kaduna, from kafanchan, penbeygwa, Zaria , to the entire southern Kaduna, Igbo are every where. Yorubas are in good number in kawu and northern Kaduna areas but they are mostly Moslems and many are in there third generation families. God bless you. |

ODVanguard: For goodness sakes, why are you igbos like this? ? Very unstable lot! You doubted my statement and I provided evidence, here you are shifting goalpost again. You people are insufferable! Jeez! Don't be silly Mister. There's hardly any Yorubas in SE states talk less of a "community head". Your claims are quite comical. |

ODVanguard: lol. Guy, your "truth" is merely an opinion that isn't grounded in facts or empirical evidence. There is a Yoruba community head in every community in the North, including even your SE and SS. Personally I don't deal in assumptions but rather in facts. Official census data has settled it but you are free to believe otherwise of course. Or do your people not return to the SE during the census to help your numbers? If they don't and are undercounted as a result, whose fault is that? ? I repeat that your opinion has no basis in facts. Mister, your opinion also has no basis in fact. A Yoruba community head in SE? That's quite silly. Respect yourself. |

Politics › Re: I Respect Igbos by MrAnalyst: 3:52pm On Feb 06, 2016 |
Amberon: prove otherwise Hahaha. Ignoramus! Let me tell you something. Even if you want to be Anti-Igbo,it's allowed, just try to do it smartly. I'll not discuss on whether Yorubas contribute more or not,due to the tribalism here. However, you made the claim dumbo. Prove It Trade contributes little to UAE's GDP? This is dead-on dumb! The upsurge in UAE's GDP especially from 2013 onwards was fuelled massively by trade, tourism etc Go and read and help yourself. Look at you, trade has never developed any nation. Trading had never developed a nation? Only exporting can? Who is Amberon and what is he/she saying? Just look at China, trading has made them a trade giant and contributed to their rise to superpower status. Before 1978 China was nowhere economically until they reformed and started trading. Don't seperate Importing/Exporting from trade, that's nonsense. So Amberon, stop yapping |
