I still use my iPhone 5c tho as my small phone and it works perfectly although without Facebook, twitter and Instagram apps, but it does on safari.

WhatsApp and telegram works fine.

WhatsApp is not supposed to be supported since such phone has no capacity to receive the least compatible iOS version for whatsapp.

While some superb functions are exclusively concentrated on Android only.
That is why most 'tech-savvy' iPhone users always have a backup android.

And in reply to your question, any flagship phone from Samsung, Xiaomi, Huawei, Vivo, Oppo, OnePlus, Asus etc. Have the better capacity to encounter the best, and smoothest smartphone experience!
I, myself, have personal preference for Xiaomi's as a result of specific, all-round, apt needs.

Android is always better than iPhone. You can take that to the bank.
New and innovative features that iPhones celebrate already exist on Android years before they debut on iPhone.

Android phones are almost tired of bending phones, and I guess that would be iPhone breakthrough, innovative features that would make it be sold above 2,000 dollars.
Android is above iPhone. The experience you had that made you excited could be got better on real Android flagships.
You can't buy an entry-level and expect the experience of a flagship. It is untenably unreasonable.

AliExpress phones, and items are of high and excellent quality!
You just have to note, and consider the seller's ratings, and reviews to determine a better product!
For the record, most phones of Chinese origin are bought from there.

Realme phones are good. They are from Oppo which has the same parent company with Vivo, and OnePlus.
They have very good 'price-to-quality' ratio.
They have also the latest technology in terms of battery, camera, and technology. So they are worthy of patronage.
I have not used them though.

Are they real numbers assigned by the various countries' network providers or just virtual numbers?
What about Asian number for verification?
Especially the fareast ones are needed.

The order of good performance is:
Realme.
Vivo.
Oppo.
OnePlus.

But people with the high-end technological bias often go with OnePlus because of the now deviated mantra of offering flagship-killer specs!

Realme has all that is needed to be the best brand. Although it is an upshot of Oppo.
It has the best phones in almost all categories; with the better battery backup, performance, and almost perfect camera quality, and connectivity.
And the major point is that they are mouthwateringly affordable.
In general, only Umidigi and Xiaomi come close to Realme in terms of affordability of quality phones.

Among them, realme is the most affordable. And between Vivo and oppo, the former looks better because of personal preference.
